Letting Elder Scrolls Online Sleep for Now It's never easy to say goodbye to a chapter. We have seen a gradual transition in Elder Scrolls Online over the years. It began as a vibrant MMORPG community with our membership exceeding 1,500 active players. In 2018 we hosted the Chronicles of Tamriel and cleared zone after zone as a massive group exploring the far reaches of Tamriel. In Alliance vs Alliance we ran upwards of 3 raid groups at a time and conquered Elder Scrolls for the Ebonheart Pact.

Extra Life 2023 Plans Extended to 5 Full Days of Fun! For the past 13 years, the Gaiscioch has amassed an army to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network during the Extra Life Charity Event. Together we have raised almost $55,000 for children's charities across America and have helped countless children receive the care they need. For many of us this fight is personal. For others, they just want to be part of something epic. Together we hold the line and help the children have a second chance at an epic life. COVID finally strikes the Foghladha Household It was all going well. For 2 and a half years I managed to play people are lava at the highest tier and succeed. Sadly there comes a point in everyone citizen's life when you get summoned to jury duty. Marketplace Down for Conversion Exciting news! Just putting the final changes to the Trading Post together before I release it to the public. Now is the time I need to begin converting all those items in the Marketplace database to the new Trading Post database. To do this I needed to pull the old Marketplace offline. I am hoping to have the Trading Post ready to deploy in April so stay tuned! Just need to recategorize about 6,000 items and we're good to go :D.

In Loving Memory of Beardtounge It is with a heavy heart that I inform the community that our beloved Beardtongue has moved on to the next place on December 15th, 2022 after fighting COVID-19. His battles began in 2021 after he was diagnosed with Dementia and had been hospitalized since then. He was a tremendous member of our community and one of the only Laoch-ranked members in our membership. He will be missed dearly.

Get Involved in the Gaiscioch Starkeepers Pioneer team This January will begin a series of NDA-bound tests to try out various systems they are playing with. They will be looking for feedback from us and these will be scheduled tests limited to just a handful of our community. This is a very early-stage development test where we will be trying out experimental features and systems that may or may not end up in the final product. These are purely conceptual. Website Fixes & Improvements Over the past few months, I have located several bugs with the character management and invite system that I managed to squish. Now when you add your account I'd or a primary character it will automatically add you to the pending invite list. It will hide the request invite link until the invite has been sent.

Minor Setback Almost Resolved for New Game Pages When I went to launch them last month I realized 'oops I missed a spot' and had to work on repairing a small little detail that would have caused more than a few grey hairs. It's almost all patched up and I'm working on running through some more tests to make sure everything functions well enough to launch this thing. It will be a work in progress and features will be enabled as I finish QA testing them completely. Needless to say, we're very close and I think it's a drastic improvement over the current adventure pages. Stay tuned!

In Loving Memory of Jim 'Sawda' Gillum (1958-2022) It is with a heavy heart that I report the passing of another wonderful member of Sanctum of Rall community. Since 2012, Sawda has roamed the Borderlands acting as a lone scout for the Sanctum of Rall. No commander has ever tagged up on the Sanctum of Rall without his useful scouting reports becoming a staple to the experience. Sawda was a loving and caring man who was a perfect example of what we should all be as human beings. He was witty, kind, and never missed a moment to help a person in need. I know Sanctum of Rall will miss his ever-watchful eye over the borderlands and his calming demeanor in our voice coms.

New Adventure Pages Beta This next month I will be rolling out the new adventure pages so that I can make the necessary changes to the pieces that tie into them. Each game we play will have its own hub that will be accessible from the Gaiscioch Games drop-down, the hamburger menu, or via the adventures icon on the main nav. I'm going to start off by just turning on the base setup for all games while I disconnect the old stuff and enable the new stuff.
