This year marks our 15th year supporting the Extra Life Charity event, and to celebrate, we're going to kick off an epic 5-day event that spans 2 weekends. First, we kick off on November 1-2 with some of our favorite titles of the year. Then, on Nov 7 - 9th, we will arrive at the main event where we cover all our favorite games of 2025. Gaiscioch Community Summit Changes Over the years, the summits have provided us a quarterly glimpse into what's going on in our community and the gaming sphere we are a part of. While I have been hosting these for well over a decade, they are a bit time-consuming to put together. Often times requiring 40+ hours to produce. The road ahead for me is going to be a little busier than in years past as my company will be going through a buyout in July, and I will not have the time necessary to invest in these as often. So, I am going to be moving these to a twice-a-year schedule to coincide with the two major media events where they announce new games and release dates.

A Massive New Adventure Approaches. Next Chapter? Over the past month, our community has participated in both NDA-bound testing and also the public open Beta for Throne & Liberty. During the open Beta, our guild filled up in less than 12 hours. We ended up opening a second and third guild to support the crowd flocking to our community. We even managed to capture land during the beta.

Adjustments to the Chapter & Adventure Structure Moving Forward Over the past few years, we've seen games go from allowing hundreds of players to group together in guilds, to being limited into smaller and smaller clan sizes. Today, the average MMO Guild Roster doesn't even allow for more than 100 players. Some MMO's have gone as low as 30 people. To accommodate these changes in MMO standard design we've had to adapt and make adjustments to our Chapter structure to allow for smaller chapters that can ensure we survive the test of time and shifting design fundamentals in the current MMO space.

Trading Post Beta Launches Over the past couple of years I have been hard at work trying to rebuild the Marketplace system into a new Trading Post that can work both in Buy and Donate mode for any game we play now or into the future. The challenge was intense trying to find a pricing model that players could just enter in simple data like the item level, color, and type and have the price automatically be set based on how close to the max level and quality the item is.

In Loving a Memory of Mewzical This past month we lost one of our Guild Wars 2 event regulars. Mewzical has been a regular personality in our weekly event lineup since 2018 and we have all grown to know and love her. She was an artist, a musician, and a natural-born explorer who couldn't follow the beaten path if she tried. She was eternally called to the wilds and often times one of us would be tasked with finding her and bringing her back to the herd. She simply couldn't help the call of the unexplored land.

In Loving Memory of Jackie "Lady" Smith (1973-2023) It is with a heavy heart and sadness that I report the passing of one of our earliest members Lady aka Keggan who joined us with her husband Blockhead in Warhammer Online. For the past year, she has been battling cancer and fighting for her life. She passed on at the side of her Husband. She leaves behind a loving husband and three young men.
