As many of you may know, a new regulation is coming to the internet from the EU called GDPR. This relates to how information is stored and handled for residents of the European Union. I value all of your privacy and respect your wishes. If at any time you wish for your information to be purged from the site you can visit your profile and change your Membership Status: to "Leave the Family". This will start a 7 day process which will purge all of your forum posts, member account, and member history from our site. Now as I am a person who believes in full transparency without giving a roadmap to malicious evil doers I'll go over what we store on this site.
Information Protection:
The site is secured behind a VPN with access to a limited list of mac addresses (a unique fingerprint per system). It lives in a server facility with 24/7 digital and physical security. All of our accounts are secured and encrypted using the latest security practices.
Integrity
Gaiscioch will never sell your information to an outside party and will go to the fullest extent to protect the information you share with us.

This site makes use of Cookies to assist in auto login features. We additionally make use of:
- Google Analytics for website statistics and usage tracking
- ShareThis for easy sharing.
- Quantcast for demographic & website metrics rankings (Useful for Game Developers to see we're not a fly by night guild)
- JQuery for additional website functionality
- ReCaptcha for human validation and anti spam

Gathering Information:
All information in our system is voluntarily given to us via the user. It can be removed at any time via the Edit Profile link.
Use of Personal Information
In some cases such as our Pioneer program game developers will approach us to assist in game testing. We use demographic information provided by our users to create a team to help test the game around the developers request. We do not provide them with names, addresses, phone numbers, or any data that will compromise your privacy. We simply give them numbers of the people available matching their request. Then we contact the people on that list about that opportunity to see if they would like to participate. All of the demographic information is kept private and used internally only.
We also do gather physical addresses which are completely optional so that we can send members physical rewards for their achievements within the community. Additionally we use the Emergency Phone to check on our users who are battling health and other life issues. This can be added or removed via the Edit Profile function.
