Last Month For Traditional Marketplace for Classic I've decided to give to the end of December before removing the marketplace functionality for classic. I'm hoping to have the Trading Post ready to go by then. I need another month to get it squared away. As of January 1st, I will cancel all orders and remove WOW from the marketplace system.

Foghladha Resigns His Post For A Few Months It's regrettable, but with the current condition of business my job had to make some cutbacks and part of that hit my department with a 20% reduction in pay via moving to a 4-day work week schedule. To balance my books and keep afloat during this time I have to cut my spending on subs and recurring monthly costs for hobbies. Unfortunately, this includes my World of Warcraft subscription which expired on the 17th. So for the time being the ever-loving and helpful Varder will be taking over. It's times like these that make me truly appreciate this community and members, like Varder, who over the years constantly offer their support.

Chapter Update: Varder Becomes New Leader Over the past month, I've been working to build a better foundation for our community to grow. We needed someone with boots on the ground and a regular presence to lead us forward. With my limited time, I didn't feel I was best suited for the job or performing it at the level the chapter needed. After speaking with the other elders we came to the conclusion that Varder was the best person for the job. I will be supporting him behind the scenes and have passed the torch to him in-game. Varder has been an outstanding member of our community for years and has very similar goals and beliefs as I share. I trust Varders decisions and stand behind him in whatever he decides the community needs. Please lend your support to him as well. He has gone through great lengths to put us on the course to tackle raiding in WoW classic and I suspect he will have a lot of fun times paved for you all ahead.

The Raiding Situation As you've probably noticed we've been bleeding out a lot of high-level players. It is difficult to keep them involved in the end game when we don't have anyone willing and able to lead Raiding events. When we do get members who try there aren't enough people left to get them going. This is an age-old chicken or the egg problem we saw in RIFT. Unless we can find a group of people willing to stick out the wait and help people get to the place they need to be, we're going to have a rough road ahead.

WOW Classic Chapter Continues to Grow Things are going well for our WOW Classic Chapter. This month we'll see the launch of the new and improved marketplace for World of Warcraft Classic. You'll be able to order crafting materials and crafted goods from our marketplace using Vault Credits that you earn by attending events, crafting items, and donating goods to the community. There will be a few items available for donation out of the gate to help keep our new player kits moving.
