Great Open Field Fights The group did an awesome job this morning when faced with even or when we were slightly outnumbered in open field fights. Everyone is beginning to get the hang of staying away from the center of the hammer trains, and fighting from the sides and back...
CoF Path 1&2 Yanick has had some of the best dungeon runs that I have been on since I have been a member of this guild. He knows his dungeons well and is very good at giving instructions and helping the new players complete the paths...
Kaytlin Leads The journey to SOR was slow, but not difficult. Kaytlin's camp had good friends, food, & a wonderful banner welcoming all. Refreshing. She lead the troops with usual command. But something was brewing...
Saved by Experience We went in with the intent of completing the entire dungeon but got hung up on the last boss. Suddenly two heroes arrived. Ixeletihw and Arcane Sapphire. Their experience and excellent direction saved us completely...
Cry Havoc! Our usual leader Kaitlyn could not be with us this morning, so we blundered ahead and caused much havoc on the SoS boarderland -- including our small group taking down Hill. There was much rejoicing.
Scores dont always reflect the Battle Tonight we had some epic battles against TC that really are not reflected in the scores. While we did not take much property the ones we did take, coupled with an epic open field fight between hill and garrison made this an event that will stay with many for a long long time...
Thanks Thanks you to all the folks who participated in this 4+ hour event. Hope all your bags are nice and full and you coffers a bit heavier than before we started.
Reset Madness Today's event started out a bit slow with our group running into two opposing zergs early on. After doing our best against overwhelming odds, we switched borderlands and found much better success. We found severall good open field fights and I have to say that our group is doing very well when the odd's are equal...
Great way for anyone to try out PvP Very well run and very enjoyable.
Have been wanting to get more into pvp since GW2 was released, but never got around to it, mainly for lack of decent people to play with.... That's about to change :)
Thanks again!
Going to be sure and catch this every time I'm able
Thanks again! One of the top reasons I play MMOs is the high level of enjoyment obtainable with exactly planning. We were just going to hit a few spots and mess around a bit before calling it a night, but before long we (Nal and myself) realized we were in a group led by someone really enjoyable to run with...
She will pay The broodmother glitched and left us without one of the events. But she will pay, oh yes she will pay! >:3
The rest of the event was made of fun, cows, awesome and shinies :3
Love,
Orvilaf, The Shiny.
We Came, We Saw, We Conquered! Our quest required men, women, charr, asurans, norns, and sylvari made of stern stuff. We were invading the wild borderlands in our hunt for vistas, waypoints, and points of interest in order to complete our map achievements...
Friday Evening We set out to finish a couple of map assaults for the chaos events. We all needed a few more maps completed. The first was Dredgehaunt, then Bloodtide, and finally Lornar's Pass. Fun was had by all, and we were able to complete the map in record time by the last map we did.
Kill, kills it again! If your not running these events you are missing out. Kill runs some of the cleanest smartest events on SOR. If you are on the fence about whether to join in or skip you are doing yourself and your toon a disservice...
Very well done Just finished a mini-marathon day of GW2, so I'm too exhausted for a long, drawn out message, so I'll simply say this: This was most definitely the most fun I've had in any dungeon run I've done in GW2 to this date...
Commander Jessica's Musings Entered the battlefield a little early today. Wanted to get an idea of what we were facing before I lead my family to the fields of war. Looking out over the fields, I saw no allies, no one to back us up if we got into a pinch...
A Tale of Legends Bold and Treasures Ancient pt 1 It was a warm, comfortable day in Divintiy's Reach. Workers traversed the town, merchants sold their wares, and everywhere there was a feeling of anticipation. It seems the Queen was preparing for a celebration, no doubt to honor stories and legends of brave Humans an Norn who had given their lives to aid the Human's Call...
Paradises are usually places where you get killed It was HOT. That was my first thought after stepping through the Asuaran Gate. Lion's Arch has a tendency to be warm for me, after all, I was born and raised in the Snowden Drifts, near Wayfarers. There is a comfort in seeing the horizon lined with ice, sub-zero temperatures and snow blanketing the earth like a mother wraps her newborn...
Boc Boc! Wow... its all that comes to mind... just wow... This was my first event with the Gaiscioch family and i gota say i had an absolute blast. haveing no experience with group play in GW2 i was seriously confused and overwhelmed at the offset...
The Hills Were Alive........ it started just like any other day. A group of civic minded adventures banded together to bring the joyous news of Kiel's bid for a seat on the council to the brave defenders at Fort Salma. No sooner did we arrive and finish our first tale of how Keil managed to thwart the recent Atherblade attack, did word of trouble arrive by messenger...
Excellent Teamwork We went in with a little bit of knowledge, but there were some surprises. However, as a group, these folks were awesome. When we couldn't figure it out right away, we stepped back, did what had to be done and got it right the next time...
Listen to the beat of our souls! It was a glorious adventure! Kilashandra the Norn set out with a small group of adventurers, determined to conquer every dive in accursed orr. As we proceeded from Fort Trinity, the strength of her legend called out to others in the land, and soon she was joined by the small yet robust adventurer Jedgak, and uncommon Asura who's skill at traversing dangerous ground proved invaluable...
Ryokka's sPVP for Beginners Informative, kind group of experience guild members showed support for Ryokka's event. All gave battle plan suggestions and tips. The hardest part was practice rounds. Turning the sword in at great leaders and peers just felt wrong...
Let's not bicker and argue over who killed who............ There was this uppidy asura that went and hit me until i was down, then he stuck a flag in me. Sir(s), I'd appreciate it if you could find it in your heart to to hunt him down and hang him up by his neck until he was dead...
An excellent adventure. The Queen was in fact in danger and was kidnapped. Our heroes fought through the overwhelming odds and rescued her without the loss of a single life. Well done, heroes all. I bow to you.
Even Logan was impressed, I heard him talking to the Queen and telling her he could not have done it without each and every one of you.
What I learned I learned that you need to keep your eyes open because sometimes a small group is a decoy and if you attack them it becomes an ambush.
I learned that small groups tend to do better on smaller mission types...
Kilashandra's Labyrinthine Cliffs crystal hunt Event was thrill ride of heart pounding, sweating palms, with high and low emotions. Kilashandra lead a wonderful event! Syrene Harmony, mighty Mesmer ported the group to tips of poles, top of wind mill and hairline cliffs...
Excellent group to run with Four of the easiest people to do a dungeon with. Varied knowledge, but willingness to learn, and an excellent team. If anyone is looking for a party, these guys are the best.
thanks.
Run, Fog, Run! This last Clubnight was absolutely hilarious! There was just some crazy stuff that was going on.
The best part for me, however, was the final battle. We managed to drag a JQ zerg across the map, and got them to start fighting with a Blackgate zerg...
Well Done Very well organized and good explanations to help those not as familiar with WvW and small group tactics. Would give you a token, but being an elder I can only give them to Fog. LOL! So will give you some cheering here...
