Crystal Isle and Element Shards Tek equipment is nice, but it requires a special "element" to make and power.
Unfortunately there is a very small source of element on our main base map of Ragnarok.
The solution is a trip to the Crystal Isle with our picks and trusty anklyosauros...
Ally, Bary and Pietro Another hunt for mating pairs or partners for lonely dinos.
Maxina was looking for an Allasourus and a couple of Baryonyx to compliment his growing stable.
Crickgy helped him track and bring down the Allasourus, while I did some work on my tower elevator system...
Into The Depths The brave Harkonis led the team of Trithian, Stavian N'Rall, Sunderbrass, and Liam Shadowkin into the depths of... well, The Depths. All participants were a little strong for a dungeon of that level, but for most it was their first time...
Cats and Kangaroos We went on a hunt for breeding pairs of Thylacoleos and Procoptodons.
Thylacoleos are large cats that can climb and jump extremely well.
Trying to find and tame a thylacoleo is not easy, because they are known to pin down and rip their prey to shreds, which we experienced first hand, sustaining major injuries and a few deaths before finally getting our two kitties...
Amrine Dungeon Runs Ran a group through Amrine twice. Helping people with their quests that need it as well as introduce a newer player to the role of tanking for dungeons.
35+ weapon skill and boss farm in Cut Less Cheese Three five man groups farmed the elites in the elite spot in Cutless Keys.
Multiple purple and legendary drops. Congrats to everyone who got shinnies.
Thanks to all who attended.
Ragnarok taming excursion Started off trying to fix stryers ability to have materials pull to dedicated storage. Looked for otters, dimorphodons, and exotic birds. Bought a couple otters since we could not find any for Max to breed...
The Island Traveled to The Island with Maxina to scout out some locations to build and explore the new map.
We found a few places that may have some promise and will likely return to set some more permanent roots.
Pronto Bronto Cricky had her sights on taming a brontosaurus, so Maxina and myself helped track down a fine female specimen for her, which turned out to be on my little tower isle.
We chased it around, shooting her with tranquilizer arrows, and finally brought the beauty down before it could escape into the water...
Great run from Mikaq! So I just started doing the Skyscale Achievement. So I pop into Dragons Reach while watching football. Didn't even realize what was going on, or that there was a Gaischoch event. I immediately got a squad invite without even asking...
Ragnarok labyrinth dungeon run Trithian brought Akiran, Crickgy, and Maxina through the Ragnarok dungeon for 4 artifacts and showed the puzzles and how to solve them. (all minus the last maze to save time) Four artifacts were acquired for future boss fights.
Tower Topper After losing almost everything, except for my trusty Argent, due to a "fatal error" crash and events preventing me from retrieving my body, it was time to rebuild.
Acquired a glider, grapple bow, and SCUBA gear, which allows me to unleash my inner Batman, Spider-man, and Aquaman...
Ragnarok and Viking Bay Introduced Crickgy and Maxina to some of the special features of ARK Ragnarok.
After they were acquainted with there mounts we took a flight around to find them a place to call their own.
While scouting an area, Crickgy was attacked by a very aggressive argent, or may it just fancied her mount and was flirting, lol...
Building the right foundation The secret to building a proper tower is making sure you have the right foundation.
The secret to building the right foundation is material and proper orientation with the terrain.
Spent a lot of time placing and replacing the foundation of my tower, which finally feels right...
New Tames & Exploration Got some new tames, bred a lot of dinos, got Akiram two tek rexes to raise and play with. Explored the Northeast corner of the map. Many hours of resource gathering.
Leeches, a new bird and a Tek Rex! Another fun time of exploring, farming, breeding, and hunting.
My bird being in that great nest in the sky, took my raft for some sailing.
Spent some time in the swamp to find some much needed leeches, since our farming of them did not seem to be bearing any fruit, to find that it just takes a relatively long time for them to grow...
Die and Learn! A fun full day of exploring, building and breeding dinos on Ragnarok.
Unfortunately, learned a few lessons the hard way.
It is not a good thing to be swimming in the water when your connection is lost ...
Those who watches from the hills We stood watch over the enemy sending fear of being crushed beneath the hooves of our heavy cavalry into their very bones!
Had a lot of fun and learned a lot more about the game. As a new player, this was a great way for me to not only meet some people but also learn about the game. Thanks, to Fog and the other leaders....
Having Fun Doing World Completion After slugging it out all week soloing the storyline episodes of Living World Season 3 with its seemingly endless massive mob encounters, it was truly refreshing to participate in yet another Saturday morning adventure with Gma...
The way you shouldn't do things Today was the perfect example, especially at the beginning, how not to play a Rebel Camp fight :)
We all know that normally you can do the fight and not lose any units. I had 5 terrible call in one fight which led to kill my entire Shieldmaidens squad...
Introductions and Dust Ups There I was, on a lonely quest to make the world a better place. I was surrounded by others fighting to save Tyria, but they were strangers. Then a commander added me to his squad and I was no longer alone among strangers...
Isn't Rackham a Carribbean Pirate? We took a trip to the roof of the galaxy using the only method that exists - a fleet carrier. We were not cool enough to hitchhike our way up there, even though it seems possible. (There is a well beaten tourist path with scattered fleet carriers along the way)...
A bittersweet night of Undaunted romps It was a bittersweet night of Undaunted questing as Beliar took up the mantle of group leadership for the final time before his sabbatical. With words of wisdom and an efficiency of leading, he took the band of GSCH members through nearly a score of missions proposed by Bogrul from the Guild...
Valheim hijinks An intrepid group of professional warriors and a newb set out to find adventure (and each other) in the world of Valheim. Days are spent searching for friends, nights are spent huddled in fear; an ocean voyage almost ends in disaster and the end of a troll is lit on fire...
Rebels at the horizon Today we heard the bad news, rebel camps raised around our loved cities. Thanks to some brave soldiers the threat is disappeared quickly. Even sometimes they had to go back to our loved cities to heal or because someone (who we don't name) forgot to bring in the loud and crazy berserkers to the fight...
Thanks Namrie....Thank you for always being so patient with us..you really are a great teacher, there is so much about this game that I have learned from YOU !You are the best
Great time as a new player I had a great time meeting everyone during the World Completion event. Mist was a great leader and very patient, even when I was accidentally spamming skills in chat. Also appreciated getting bags and general advice.
Strike Mission I have been away from strikes for a while and forgot how much fun they can be. Of course Scripko made it fun and easy. Great instructions and patience. Great running with him again. Awesome asset to the guild...
Fire! Fire! Fire! We were there, once again, trying to save the moon and have a fun run. But Kitty had other plans. Kitty wanted to try Sargon, the traitor. It went well. If we ignore the fact that we wiped in the first map...
Non nobis, sed omnibus! Something strange happened. On a whim I asked two passing ducks what those Monastic Knights were mumbling under their breath. They said it's Latin and means “Not for us, but for all!” I asked them how they knew, and they said they didn't, they were just a search engine...
Great running with you again. You are very patient and fun. Love to run with folks that keep it light and fun. You do just that! I had a great time, miss all the guildies in my crazy real life! Thank you for the run.
Nothing really matters... ... because the quests are broken anyway. Yes, our gods gave us a new season and then abandoned us to enjoy the holidays. Well, the fights themselves work... if they ever happen. I mean, yeah, that makes it a more accuarate representation of conflicts, most of the time you won't be fighting but waiting...
Veni, vidi, vici! And if I knew any latin I'd make it say WE came, WE saw, We conquered. But alas, I don't. So if anyone asks about the hole in the big wall, it was there before! I swear! Also Marauders, they keep running around all day and never run out of food, it's not fair! What are they eating?!? OH...
Enjoyed my first Walkabout killing world bosses Chaos, pure chaos. I have no idea how one is supposed to keep everything straight when mob starts fighting. I enjoyed the fun, picked a few goodies and virtually met a few guildmates. So all in all not a bad outing...
Sometimes you need to beat down a dragon Selara, our fearless leader, heard that this dragon had fancy looking weapons if you shook them down for lunch money. And possibly gave them a swirly.
Sadly, none of us got the weapon, forcing us to look to tomorrow to shake them down for lunch money again...
The Infamous Steve! So we killed him FIVE times. He did do one wipe on us because of showing up, we start fighting him and then someone opened the door with the big old daddy candy corn. If it hadn't been for that happening we not have had a full wipe with Steve involved...
The Halloween spooktacular! I hadn't really participated in any of the halloween events at all. I've been super busy lately, and just haven't had time to play GW2. GMA's events have really given me an opportunity to feel like I just haven't completely missed out on the festival...
