New Post-Login Pages Coming Together. Last month I tackled the pre-login pages for each chapter. This month I've been playing with the post-login pages trying to make them faster and more appealing. The way I'm setting up the new post-login homepage will base itself entirely off the games you play. News, Marketplace, Discussions, and events will all shape around your joined chapters and social adventures. Alternately you will be able to flip to any chapter page to see just that chapter’s information. Lastly I'm working on getting lazy loading on our site to load sections and graphics as you scroll the page.

In Loving Memory of John It is with great sadness that I report that our dear and beloved Mynrbird has lost his battle with cancer. Many of you know him from Elder Scrolls Online and Rift. He joined us on March 21st of 2014, and led our family to over 20,000 victories across 33 events. We ran a “Craglorn Anomaly Run” event for the better part of a year. Over the course of his membership, he earned the rank of Curadh de na Capall Dearg. We are deeply saddened by his loss and he will be missed. I will be adding him to our Hall of Legends so that he may live forever in our hearts and minds.Known Aliases:

Moving to Discord After a month of running it and GameVox side by side it seems that most of you prefer Discord over GameVox and our numbers of active users support that. Discord is a much easier application to get public groups involved in what we're doing and with the changes upcoming in April in Guild Wars 2, i'm certain we'll be doing a lot more community events. We have begun migrating our usage from GameVox to Discord. I understand some people have had problems getting it to work and as such i've done investigating into some of the common problems. I have created a post available for you that will walk you through downloading, setup, and configuration of Discord.

Gaiscioch Structure Changes Time to shake the old tree again! Run, hide, the sky is falling! Ahhhhh! No wait that's kinda cool. Some of you may know that our former ranks were a hodge podge assortment of Irish, Middle-Irish, and Scottish. Without a reliable person to help me translate them all into Middle-Irish i've had to rely on various translations found around the web. Welcome to 2016 Everyone! Boy, 2015 blew by us faster than we knew it was here. Even still we made huge progress as a community over the last year and as we find our footing in the new climate we are ready to start driving forward. When we look at our successes of 2015, one stands out among the rest. As a community we grew our developer contact list beyond just the few games we were playing to a list of over 35 key people in the industry. First Saturday Chivalry Brawl We are starting an monthly Chivalry brawl event on the first Saturday Morning of the month. This will be a PvE based event and we will eventually work our way to making a set of maps that work best for us. This will be a comedic event filled with a lot of laughs. You can typically find Chivalry on sale on Steam, Bundle Stars or Humble Bundle for less than $5. Ceannard Notes Update Starting in November 2015 we are going to change the way we send out newsletters. We will be sending them out after the monthly Summit livestream with a link to the summit and a summary of topics discussed at the summit. We will also include the next summit date so people can plan accordingly. With this new format i'll be able to include the monthly progress report metrics as well as links to the full summit recap. As technology has evolved I think it's safe to evolve our newsletter. I'm also looking at changing the layout to be more mobile device friendly for those who check their mail on their phones. Welcoming 2 New Elders to the Team
Verve will be joining our Elder Scrolls Online Eldership team to help me manage the adventures in the game to keep them updated with all of the new content getting introduced into the game. His dungeon running expertise has been a godsend over the past year and lead me to promote him as a family commander for ESO. After watching him for several months we've decided to bring him onto the team to assist with the management of that side of the house.
Smitty has been nominated and selected to join the Guild Wars 2 team to assist Soren and I with promoting Gaiscioch over social media channels, livestreams, and participate in public appearances. He will also be joining the new player integration team, making sure all of our new players understand how things work.

Call to Arms: Shards Online My good friend Derek Brinkmann has approached me about helping with an upcoming stress test. I need to summon an army. I will have an undetermined number of Alpha keys to be able to pass out to players willing to help on September 12-13th. This is a 2 day alpha test and we'll need to put in a few hours that weekend and send in some reports and feedback. This is not a play before you buy type thing. It's a lets help build a closer bond with game developers type thing so in the future doors of opportunity like this one open. Remember the only reason people like Cryss from Aeria, David Bass (formerly) of Carbide, Derek Brinkmann, Matt Firor, and Scott Hartsman have called on us in the past is because of the work and reputation we have shown when they worked with us previously. I am aiming for at least 50 Gaiscioch in the waiting.
