- Gaiscioch has become an official Twitch Team!
After nearly 2 years of trying to get a Gaiscioch Team on Twitch approved, we have finally done it. With the help of our first Twitch Partner and former elder Dreamtrip, we managed to convince Twitch to give us our own team. This just shows that whatever our community puts its mind to we can accomplish with hard work, devotion, and most importantly, each other.

- Extra Life Charity Event Wrap up
There is a certain level of pride I feel for seeing so many people work so hard to raise money for kids in need. It reminds me that there is good in this world and it is worth fighting for. This has been our 8th year participating in the Extra Life event and we have raised a total of $41,054 over our 8 year history. This year with our smallest community yet we still managed to bring in $2,282 and had a blast over the 3 days of livestreaming.

- Portland, Oregon Holiday Gathering

- Chapter Requirement Changes
After some evaluation of our current situation and the ever shrinking guild size requirements within games we've decided to drop the minimum guild size for chapters from 500 to 250. In addition we have revised the way we evaluate the requirements for each area based on where the current player base chooses it's focus.

- New Elder Scrolls Online Recruitment Video Coming Soon
As with Guild Wars 2, I am also looking to create a highlight video of the gameplay our ESO community enjoys. I'll be setting up an event in Dec to film a couple of Trials, Dungeons, Dark Anchors, World bosses and see about creating some additional acted scenes to help put it all together.

- Great Tyrian Adventure Kicks Off in January
I've got some great news to share! We've completed the construction on the Three Legendaries we will be adding to the Raffle giveaway for the Great Tyrian Adventure. This has allowed us to green light the adventure to launch in January. I am currently hard at work preparing the site for the new season and will throw together a trailer this month. Tentatively, we're looking at starting on Thursday Jan 17th however, I need to get the preparations made so we can have a successful kickoff. But rest assured January is our target date.

- Fractal Console Complete
After months of seeing dancing holograms in our Guild Hall, our fractal runners have finally done it. They've raised the obscene number of fractal relics required to create the Fractal Console. This mysterious device allows for such craziness as making our Guild Hall low gravity. It's right next to where you port into the guild hall, so feel free to take it for a spin.

- Conqueror's Blade
The wait intensifies for Conqueror's Blade. We purchased the House Founders Pack to award our house with a lot of early perks including getting our Guild Emblem into the actual game. We will be forming up House Tuatha throughout the betas and will have a massive presence (up to 130 people) at launch. We currently have a full house of 40 players signed up and until we level the guild a few times, space will be limited to 1 character per person. Once the game launches we will be looking at spawning up several additional guilds to make room for additional players and link them all through an alliance. When we started back in Warhammer, Tier 4 seemed a bit rough and it was a major breaking point for a lot of the people that rejoined the community for a romp in Warhammer. We were way undergeared and had a lot of learning to do. The keep lords would reset super easy and the fights lasted forever.

- Issue 17 Wraps up in December
We are almost there! We revamped the site over the summer to prepare it for our new issue format. Now we'll be aiming to release at least 1 article a week to fill the site with content. We're almost ready to deploy our last issue of 2018 and will be shooting out the announcement email to subscribers mid December.
- Streams of Epic Adventure Returns
We're pleased to announce that we are bringing back the Streams of Epic Adventure in January 2019 airing every Sunday at 11AM PT. Our new cast includes Kitty, Radiologikal and Foghladha with special guests each week. We will be diving into new MMORPGs, cooperative games, weird games and more. Each week will feature a new game. We will be hunting down epic adventures in the far reaches of the gaming universe.

- Gaiscioch Wins 4th League Championship in 2018
For the first time ever Gaiscioch has won 4 league championships in a single year. Our team has drastically been improving over the past few years as between 2010-2015 we won 2 League Championships and 1 Regional Tournament. Between 2016-2018 we've won 6 League Championships. For most of the year we field 2 teams in the Portland Oregon area. We look forward to taking our team to the next level in 2019 and potentially start participating in some tournaments in the pacific northwest.

So I don't remember how exactly this event started but at some point we were just chilling around Doc's pad and then some random dude ran up to us. - In Which Doc Sets up Camp and I Loot Everything!
This was the second open beta testing event for Fallout 76 that happened recently (the third one will be tomorrow friends) and Doc was nice enough to set up a key so that I could join him.
After spending a good hour or so actually figuring out how to play the game, we got to meet up at a camp of his that was already set up with work stations and turrets galore...
- In Which Novus Carried Us Through Some Fractals!
This group started as a t4 fractal group for the day since many were talking about how they don't do fractals a lot/don't enjoy doing them as much without friends, and this group did prove why doing fractals with friends is just way more fun!
We got through all of the t4 fractals fast enough that we decided to even do the daily recommended ones for the day cause why not?
Sadly tho Novus had to go to bed before we did those and somehow it took us 30 minutes longer to do 3 lower tier fractals than the t4s...
- Achievement FUN!
We were off on a great adventure through the sands for the hunt for achievements. Mika is a grand leader and so much fun to run around with. A few of us got 2, 3 and 4 achievements today. Join us next week for an amazing time...

We have improved soo much and I am very proud of our little group!!! And we have the best teachers anyone could ask for Mika and Namrie!!
