Alana Posted a Battle Recap: A Pony and A Club...Club Gaiscioch that is!
Kudos to all our leaders with Club Gaiscioch last night! It was proven that we can have a very large raid group (144 to be exact) while managing RC protocol by listening and following orders/direction from our leaders. I learned that it was also possible to keep my eye out for instruction in group chat due to the fact that it wasn't possible to have ALL the leaders speaking at once in RC. I confess that I absolutely love the strategy of AvA! Great job to all who led and all who participated. We are going to be an even greater force to contend with once more of us rank to Veteran! P...

Kitty Posted a Battle Recap: I want a pony! >_<
Seriously, not having a horse in AvA is a handicap. The event was loads of fun, with thrilling battles, action, watching people letting their hairs flow in the wind as they ride through the glen firing arrows into the sunset!! :B> But really, I want a pony, my legs hurt just by watching my character run to fort to fort to fort to farm to mine to a fort again :3

Vree Posted a Battle Recap: Like clubbing a baby seal
I especially loved the coordination in raid call tonight. I felt we were a highly effective team and as time progresses we're going to roll even the high vr's like baby seals.... --Vree

Aingeal Posted a Battle Recap: And Siegerazer Keeps Giving
Ever had a moment on a borderland where you find yourself with barely enough numbers to set off the break-out Siegerazer event while running with at least triple the opposition? Ever go to take your spawn tower, only to see it decked to the nines with arrow carts, ballistas, and enemy forces? Ever really want to take just ten people and pop a thirty man group in the mouth over and over for over thirty minutes? If you've ever found yourself in those two positions and salivating over the third, then you missed out on some great fun in Northern Shiverpeaks Borderlands...

Rainingblood Posted a Blog: RP Character Profile- Aelfgrim Frostborn
Aelfgrim Frostborn Priestess of Arkay The Nordic chamber is silent and lit with an ambient glow of candle light. The air feels heavy and damp on the skin and is filled with aromas of burning candles, incense, and choking soot from the torches beyond the far door; further into the crypt. The stone walls are moist, but clean and lined with at least twelve bookcases full of neatly stacked books of various topics. A deep breath slightly burns the lungs, but reveals the underlying smell of decay meant to be disguised by the burning wax...

Rainingblood Posted a Blog: Journal of Aelfgrim Frostborn's Account of the Akaviri Invasion
I entered Eastmarch following the White River toward Windhelm and followed a pass through the cairn-topped mountains for a more direct route. The closer I got to the city, the more I realized that the smoke I had seen was a larger plume that I had thought, and it was not from a camp. It was from Windhelm. I needed to scout ahead and get a closer look to figure out what was happening. Even with everything I had witnessed over the years, the scene outside the city walls was a macabre vision. Burning corpses, arrow-laden horse corpses, and Nord body parts littered the ground...

Joojoobees Posted a Battle Recap: 1st time is the charm!
This was my first time running one of the instanced dungeons, and I managed to die at exactly the wrong time more than once. Thankfully all of my fellow adventurers were very cool about it, and we managed to clear the whole thing on the first try. It was a fun experience, I got an upgrade to my necklace, and received a skill point. Thanks to everyone that joined!

Tatharhir Posted a Battle Recap: The Flame Of The East: Vol I
Once more there was loads of fun to be had in AvA, with most of our home campaign taken buy the other factions we set out to to take a few keep and defend what we already had. IT was a difficult task to say the least with at least one Vet rank ten group seemingly following us around the map, but in the end we were able to make some headway for a time. With the help of some of the more seasoned leaders in the Tuatha I felt like we all leaned a thing or two last night, and I look forward for more fun times ahead Thursday night...

Tricks Posted a Blog: What can happen around a Tamriel campfire?
"What do you know?!" you hear from the old man setting across the campfire from you. You are startled for a minute because you didn't even see him walk up to your camp. You were distracted. As you slowly turned the rabbit over the campfire, your mind was on the imps and abominations that seemed to appear out of no where as you were riding your horse through the land of Bal Foyen. They attacked you and you slaughtered them. Not really much of a fight for a warrior of your experience. You were distracted because in the fight your horse was killed...

Mystik Posted a Battle Recap: Loving ANet's Mega Server Concept ... NOT!
Without the MegaServer being active in some of the zones, this would have been a nice quick run. I almost forgot the glitched puzzle. Hope ANet gets the bugs worked out before next week.

Vree Posted a Battle Recap: AvA and encountering high VR ranks and Emperor groups
Anyone can have a great time in AvA, its great fun with friends. The thing to remember is when you encounter high VR groups and especially Emperor groups, you're probably going to die. Dying is an integral part of this game :).. But you can beat them. You have strength in numbers, don't let him box you in, make him come to you, and if you don't have 5 to one odds, run. We did great at a group tonight and I had a wonderful time. Its nice to see more faces stepping up to take the reigns of command and I commend Doreth for a job well done...

GradyLeagallow Posted a Battle Recap: Ohhhh, this is Cyrodil!
First Run in Skullcrusher gave me some lessons learned. When in with Matilda of Riften. Hadn't done anything in Cyrodil this day couldn't buy much and wasn't sure what to buy for Matilda. Thought I should follow. So many people involved may have been lost in the crowd. Logged into RC and loved the direction from the leaders helped a great deal. My son was present to watch and was very excited. Lessons: Learn how travel long distances, had no idea, connected lines indicate routes travel to wayshrine or keep and go...
