Vree Posted a Battle Recap: Great run
This was a great run as we did well against large forces of enemies, instead of spreading out too thin we did a good job of hitting and pulling back. Also the use of forward camps in a timely manner made a big difference. Great job all.

Rev Posted a Blog: Patience is such a virtue, thanks Marcovius
One of the reasons that I joined GSCH is because of the values that are stressed in our family: unselfishness, generosity, and patience, for example. I was just led through the jumping puzzle Obsidian Sanctum, by our member Marcovius. I must have fallen and needed to start again a dozen times. He was so patient and helpful. I am really terrible at jumping puzzles, so I have not tried that one in over a year. He took much time to walk me through step-by-step and gave me some nice speed boosts along the way...

On this day we were called to battle to assist Old Goat by leading a party through the perilous Ascalonian Catacombs. With my trusted friends and fellow adventures we laid waste to Catacombs the put down the ghostly enemies.

Alana Posted a Battle Recap: Whoops!!
I made a boo boo! Had a great run with Pooka and Vree, but I admit I made a boo boo in claiming participation!! I did not put up any camps!! I am so sorry!! :( Claimed before actually understanding. Please forgive me!! Other than my "whoops" it was a definite challenge and we had much fun guesting at Bonecrusher. At one point both sides, AD AND Daggerfall were zerging against us! Loved it!

Coop Posted a Battle Recap: The Epicness of Strategery :)
Last night I had some of the most fun I have ever had in an mmo. I attribute it to the organization and direction of Fog. There were numerous times when as a group we would sneak behind the enemy. I can only imagine the feeling of having 40 plus enemies pop out of no where. Organization leads to fun and as one person said last night "Fog I'll be your wingman anyday".

Kitty Posted a Blog: We like da moon!
We like the moon
coz it is close to us
we like the moooon!
but not as much as a spoon
'cause that's more use for eating soup
and a fork isn't very useful for that
unless it has got many vegetables
and then you might be better off with a
chop-stick
unlike the moon
it is up in the sky
it's up there very high
but not as high
as maybe
digibles or zeppelins
or lightbulbs
and maybe clouds
and puffins also I think maybe
they go quite high too
maybe not as high as the moon
coz the moon is very high
we like the moon
the moon is very useful everyone
everybody like the moon
because it light up the sky at night
and it lovely
and it makes the tide go and we like it
but not as much as cheese
we really like cheese
we like zeppelins
we really like them
and we like kelp and we like moose
and we like deer and we like marmots
and we like all the fluffy animals
we really like the moon

Balry Posted a Blog: Overview of a Korean MMORPG: Black Desert
I recently came across a couple of articles [1] [2] regarding a new Korean MMORPG entitled Black Desert. This game is being developed by Pearl Abyss. Normally, I would never mention a Korean MMORPG as they tend to feel clunky and include a lot of grind. But this game is a bit different.
You must look at this beauty!

Weldon Posted a Battle Recap: GSCH vs ESO Servers
Tonight was a bit of a different night for AvA. The Covenant and Dominion were hiding behind their mommy's skirts, and wouldn't come out to play, so we had to amuse ourselves in other ways.
We started off with a large photo op, then cruised around Cyrodil, picking up skyshards and crashing dungeons. Literally, crashing dungeons. On the bright side, the devs should have many, many bug reports to go over in the morning.
Screenshot highlights from tonight's event are here:

Grakulen Posted a Blog: Fan Fic for Rift
The cavern is dank and musty. Pools of moisture collect around the edges of his underground
prison. Stalagmites carpeted with vicious mutated vegetation toxic to any of the mortal
races protrude from the equally deadly pools. He has been imprisoned for centuries by the
dwarves using death magic, his brother’s magic; his brother who betrayed them all during the
Bloodstorm. He mystically reaches out to the elven House Aelfwar, his mortal followers on
Telara, to assist him with his release...

Grakulen Posted a Blog: Short Fan Fic I Wrote for Planet Side 2
5.) Her breath was labored and came in short gasps. Training had been hard back at the academy but nothing like this. Nothing they had done could have prepared her for this. Automatic weapon fire pelted around her fortified position. She could feel small chunks of debris ricochet off the rock wall to her right. She had hid from simulated rounds in training but never from a live round that was fired by an iron willed enemy that wanted nothing more than to kill her. She always knew that she would feel fear...

Orsan Posted a Blog: Orsan's adventures in ESO
Greetings, everyone! Welcome to my ESO Blog on gaiscioch.com! I am planning to post a new Blog every week detailing the highlights of my ESO experience.
Week One of ESO has been a blast. I started off playing a high elf Templar mage wearing light armor and using a destruction staff. The damage output is considerable, but endurance is an issue. I got to level 15, but began to have trouble with magicka management. Also, the complete lack of CC was causing me to die a lot. Once I started to run Fungal Grotto, it became apparent to me that I would be more effective as a healer...

Tricks Posted a Battle Recap: Sunday 4/6 Dungeon event with Gareth
We hit 4 dungeons, several bosses, sky shards, and killed several wondering players that tried to gank us.
Too bad for them two jumped one and then died when the other 12 came out of stealth =)

Alana Posted a Battle Recap: First "Real" Grouping in Cyrodiil
So not until I figured out how to claim the home campaign "Hopesfire" was it possible to get into one of the groups (thank you for your patience in that regard). Because of the delay, I was a little behind my fellow group members and was having difficulties catching up to them. Considering Daggerfall was out in MASSES, sort of mowing us down from our initial goal, we decided to change tactics to a different location. Unfortunately I had to bow out earlier than I wanted (dealing with pneumonia and feeling pretty yucky)...

Xrande Posted a Battle Recap: We are not doing anything big ...
My first event with Gaiscioch led by Fog. When we first started it wasn't about anything big it seems. Just guerrilla attacks. We started with taking back a resource spot. Fog then suggested to hide inside the building to ambush anyone trying to take back the area. We had at least 100 people all crouched inside on the ground floor.
Nobody came ... But what happens next was probably unexpected. We took back all 6 scrolls and someone was crowned Emperor in Ebonheart Pact.
Fun times! Look forward to more of these!
