Priecher Posted a Battle Recap: Pickin' it up with Fog
Tuesday Night Club Gaiscioch AvA with Fog. I joined up to see some new tactics in action. Upon entering Cyrodiil, I see the need for a pickup leader. I decided to lead this time rather than follow. I figure I can screw it up or I can shine. Being my first time leading Fog asked Fym to help me out. Which was a great choice because Fym did a wonderful job leading and coordinating while I was stuck at the Gate of Ghartok. Fym also made sure that everything being said in RC is being transmitted to our group...

Sigh, I spend too much time with picking flowers, watching the water flowing and trying to swim with the fishes. Being a dragonblade is awesome! I can't imagine playing something else; the responsibility of being a healer seems too much (thank you healers!). The AvA fights were really great! Although I didn't do a lot of damage, I felt like being part of the team. Lead by different players, I enjoyed every fight.

It started with only two brave warriors (not me). Their persistence was admirable. Slowly the group became larger, but not that large.. The only possible tactic for being a pain in the arse for AD was taking back a few resources. And that we did! Lead by a fierce Tide we were able to take what was ours and kill bananas along the way! Alas, we still have some work to do..

I have been participating twice now on Denny's event Shadowfen Rumble in the Jungle and I must say that those two have been really fun events. I just love roaming the map with group and more the merrier as it can be heard in Raidcall. Everyone is having fun at each other expense of course ;). Even when people are getting DCed, they are laughing about it and not getting frustrated and that can happen a lot sometimes. And oh btw if you thought you knew what DCed means, you thought wrong. Because of these events DCed has gotten new meaning, Denny Cursed...

When Nevitt's told me about "Gosh-Keya" I was instantly annoyed. So of course I had to see what this annoyance had to do with dragging my old ass out into the middle of nowhere without my back brace and only my healing cane named "Getthehelloffmylawnibur." To make matters even more annoying, I had to walk, run, and step through.... behind this grotesquely over developed trail marking beast of a horse. Fortunately for me, the rider of said beast, carried our groups leader.... who was also the target of Getthehellofmylawnibur's healing powers...

Briseadh Posted a Battle Recap: Jet takes on the last main boss solo
Well, we lived for part of this but Jet wound up the only one standing. He did one of the most amazing kiting with a bow on the guy and almost had him until he managed to run by his healing bots. He actually kited for several minutes. This was on our first time in because well Jet never managed to loot the deed the first time. Take two required no kiting and everyone was finally done with the dungeon quest.

The AD veterans are harassing us. Cutting off resources is doable because even though we are low level we can strike FAST AND BE GONE. I do not mind dying. I have learned so much. The GSCH leaders are good. I ran a lot of raids before I realized what was happening and the impromptu raids did NOT know to kill tower mages first, did NOT approach on stealth, did NOT leash pets, just did the best they could but were basicly clueless. Every single GSCH has been (as the kids say) AWESOME...

So a group of GSCH decide to help SoR on the wvw reset last night. We wanted to make sure our own Border Lands was well claimed before we went out to harass the other servers. While we were getting things squared away . . . a call went out: "Massive attack on our garrison, please come to help!" When we arrived, there was a huge zerg of Borlis Pass storming through the gates. We were probably outnumbered at least 3-1. I fell rather quickly in the first skirmish. Our Keep Lord had fallen and it was just a matter of time before the garrison was lost...

So first run with my sons over the shoulder toon "Red Wyvern" in a non zerg havok group. I was optimistic because I joined Doreth early in Club Gaiscioch AVA early on Tuesday with great success. (Though learning that Melee low level needs to wait a lot maybe I should pick up a bow). We got to practice patience and crouching again wished for a faster horse. Wonderful event was made of wonderful... and events!! Woah, those vets level 10 on both sides are really mean. I once tried to sneak around a rock while I was alone, only to find THREE rank 10 Veteran to then crushed me like an itty bitty fuzzy grape :c Besides that, the event was loads of fun, more than one team is key to success because even when they are rank 10 vets, they can't be everywhere at the same time.
