- Massive New Balance Patch Has Landed
The Call to Glory: February 2020 Competitive Update has landed. - Could Scrying Pool Make Their Return?
ArenaNet teased the next big update to Guild Wars 2 at PAX East this week. In their Visions of the Past: Steel and Fire preview trailer you can catch a glimpse at what appears to be a Scrying Pool. These pools were made famous in the Eye of the North and Heart of the North expansions in the original Guild Wars as a way for players to see past events and play missions they've already completed. While the original Scrying Pool can be found in Guild Wars 2 in the Hall of Monuments it has largely been untouched in the story. With this little tease, we can assume the next step forward is a vision of the past! See what I did there :D.

- Chapter Update: Varder Becomes New Leader
Over the past month, I've been working to build a better foundation for our community to grow. We needed someone with boots on the ground and a regular presence to lead us forward. With my limited time, I didn't feel I was best suited for the job or performing it at the level the chapter needed. After speaking with the other elders we came to the conclusion that Varder was the best person for the job. I will be supporting him behind the scenes and have passed the torch to him in-game. Varder has been an outstanding member of our community for years and has very similar goals and beliefs as I share. I trust Varders decisions and stand behind him in whatever he decides the community needs. Please lend your support to him as well. He has gone through great lengths to put us on the course to tackle raiding in WoW classic and I suspect he will have a lot of fun times paved for you all ahead.

In February, we have started to come into our own. We stripped the Westweg name and revealed who we are publically. We are now known as the Gaiscioch Alliance and are the 8th largest alliance in the game.

The Gaiscioch Jr. Portal Knights server has been renewed! With this we had a bit of a fright as it looked that we might lose our data after the renewal debacle, however with the help of the server provider, we managed to recover everything and get our server up and running again.

- Blackrose Prision Arena 2
After doing a few runs of daily quests in Murkmire, we decided to take on the Blackrose Prison arena for a normal run. We did pretty well, despite the tank crashing on almost every round of every level.
- Murkmire Mardi Gras
It was a true Fat Tuesday in Murkmire, with inventory bursting at the seams from double loot chest rewards from daily quests.
- Blackrose Prision Arena
A nice successful first run of Murkmire's Blackrose Prision arena.
- Scamp of Mayhem
Another mission for Imperial City/Sewer bosses, where we were fortunate to find and take out the elusive Trove Scamp.
- Midyear Horrors of Imperial City
Our mission was to complete the Midyear Mayhem achievement, Midyear Horror of Horrors, by tracking down and killing all 12 of the district bosses in the Imperial City. Despite significant resistance, as well as occasional assistance, from the blueberries and lemons (does that make us cherries or apples, lol), we completed a number of quests and captured districts while hunting the following bosses:
Amoncrul and Baron Thirsk in Nobles,
Gorgoloch the Destroyer and King Khrogo in Arena,
Immolator Charr and Mazaluhad in Temple,
Nunatak and Volghass in Memorial,
Lady Malygda and Ysenda Resplendent in Arboretum,
Screaching Matron and Zoal the Ever Wakeful in Elven Gardens...
