Gaiscioch Community News November, 2019
- In Loving Memory of Sandra "Nona" Starkey (1948-2019)
A Legend of our family has moved on. She's on her way to the pearly gates to secure us the best plot. She'll be cooking up some goblin stew for us for sure. Nona was member #5 of our community. She joined us in Dark Age of Camelot at a point when I was simply searching to start my community. She saw me through the darkest times of my life and encouraged me to keep pushing forward. She is the only member of our history to have a significant part in all 5 chapters. She never asked for power or promotions just put it all out there to help others and ensure they're having a good time. She found out that she had stage 4 cancer last year but that didn't stop her. She kept pushing forward, spending time with her friends and family and joining us on many adventures.

In an interesting turn of events, we have been paired with Tarnished Coast once again. The last time we were paired we had a grand ol time and we can only hope the same will be true this time. What we do know is we can be more reliant on scouting reports that we could on our past matchup. Be sure to come on out Wednesdays at 6PM PT for some WvW action with Foghladha.

- Adventure into Ulda!
Car called for adventurers to go into Ulda and take on those badies! She was however a ret Pally, but we didnt care, she put on her shield and we roared into the instance! Me (holy Priestly heals) Shadowangel(druid), Kassiopeia(druid) and our hunter and wolfie Jackal and Wolf! We plowed thru the first part fairly well, then the badies got higher levels, Car was fighting her way thru them with all her might!!! The butt scratchers were all over us at lvl 44, with bosses lvl 47 EEEK...
- Mauradon Adventure
We took multiple trips through Mauradon to complete our quests. We completed a full run of the dungeon and then completed a Princess Run.
- Hinterlands Questing
We completed The Ancient Egg and Saved Sharpbeak from a terrible fate with Arkin as our guide.
- Morladin event in Duskwood
- Un'Goro: Operation Extinction
It began much like every other mission, a quest for gold. Aylune had taken a job from a rather sketchy looking goblin in the heart of Gadgetzan. The mission seemed simple enough, travel to the giant crator to the West and bring him samples of the super sticky tar found in the tar pits on the northern edge...
- The Sunken Paladin, I mean Temple
Stealth was the word of the day. A cat, a bear, a hunter, a paladin, and a rogue so stealthy we didn't even know he was there until a third of the way through the dungeon. We crept through the Swamp of Sorrows, past the fallen, past the beasts and dragonkin...
- Making Friends With Furbolgs
As the air turned cool and summer began to fade away that this trio of vagabonds made their way to the land of eternal winter. Arkin, Aylune, and Bearch had traveled north in an attempt to negotiate peace with the Timbermaw tribe, a group of filthy furbolgs that were the keepers of some rather valuable knowledge...
- Crazy fun run!!
It took us 3 hours!! 3 long hours roaming that wretched place!
We're talking about the Wailing Caverns... For Alliance characters it takes comparably as long to get there the first time as it does to actually complete the instance...
