Robdalf Posted a Battle Recap: Never Give Up. Never Surrender!
After taking outer gate down at Hills we were jumped by an enemy mob and all looked lost but Leslie didn't give up the fight. Fortunately the enemy wasn't smart enough to mend the gate and when Hella turned up with reinforcements the tide turned. The enemy was vanquished, the dead were raised and we marched right into Hills to take back what is ours. Great teamwork and support from two great commanders.

It was nice to see you all today including some long lost friends! Nice to see you Old Goat!.. Cleared the north edge, fighting grawl , Son of Svanir, centaurs and many other little fights and vets. Got alot of shinies today and joined some new friends. I will be gone next week, but the week after we will start at Highpass Haven Waypoint and go south along the east and south boarders. Almost done clearing!

Thanks for coming out to see the last of the alpine maps. Sorry I had made a mistake an added these events to the last Saturday Afternoon Adventures with Terafer. I have corrected this but the times that the events happened are not near the original posting times. Sorry. Had several people today. About 13 GSCH members and we ended up bringing a new member in Persephone Deme and my daughter Meowe Meowe. It's really great to be able to play a high level character and do events with new players and young players that are at different levels of skill and comfort with the game and mechanics. Over all I think we all had a great time.

Great group today in Caledon. Oh we had the Mad King with us today. Scary looking Monomic! Had a great time. So what did we do? Hearts....check... POIs.... check... Waypoints...check... Vistas...check... Hero Points...check. What did I forget? Oh yea - Lots of little fights, Vets and Shinies.... Check check. We will start up at Brigid's Overlook Waypoint next week and work west, then north through the east. Thank you all for making map clears so fun - Even for Gma Fog!

Thank you all for coming today - It's great to have a big group. We finished the north west areas near Gunbreach Hills then went south. We fought Ascalonian Fighter sup the wazzoo! Ended up in a lot of defense events. Jumped of any ledgems we could and got lots of shinies and chests. We went all the way to Charr's Triumph area where we will meet next week. All that left early need to get the Temperus Point Waypoint for next Saturday.

These maps had been the same since 2012 - including the exact same details on the ghostly threats. The ghosts had never changed their tactics of wandering around aimlessly on the map, yet still this was the greatest threat to the Char nation. Angryclaw McBurnFire frowned deeply - even though there were literally thousands of level 80 characters at this point, how could they have any hope at destroying the level 12 ghosts that threatened the occasional moa? "Legionnaire!" came a voice as the sound of grinding metal emitted from the opening door...

This new event was added just yesterday, so the word didn't get out to every one. So we started a bit late, but leveled and map cleared Lions Arch. Gma Fog showed everyone how to jump off cliffs. She revived the ones that didn't make it and had to be revived a few times herself. We ended with the long run up the lighthouse getting very dizzy. We did go on and help everyone that joined us late. Everyone got their map cleared! I want to thank everyone that came. Groups make map clearing much more fun!

First for the next Saturday Adventures with Terafer -- class day -- the new survey is out here https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/HH8P2XX Next that you all for a great afternoon with the excellent help of the Gates of Madness bag delivery system AKA open combat. At the end of the afternoon and outnumbered at least 2 and at times 3 to 1 on GoM and the only real issue we had were where to put all the loot. The fight in the SE camp on GoM was especially memorable! I can't thank you enough for your support and rallying together to keep that fight going for well over 30 minutes...

Last night was our first attempt to shake up the group a bit. After putting a great deal of time into gear and research, Paleus, our NightBlade Emperor, served as tank through the twisted corridors of the Vaults of Madness. There was a learning curve involved for all of our roles - but I felt that the biggest was the pause between pulls, each of us waiting for the tank to lead the charge... and then Paleus remembering that meant him! While we did scale this dungeon down to V6 to accommodate the new role for Paleus and to make things easier for our two dps, who were both midlevel veteran alts, it was a successful experiment with minimal deaths and only a smidge of chaos...
