Sri Posted a Battle Recap: Drowned Halls under Kool's leadership
This was my first assault with Kool. Seems he has similar problems that we had faced when trying to get the troops to check their calendars or missions and arrive at the correct time. Had some time to chat with the others beforehand. I recognized Prissi, though we've only corresponded through mail previous. Kool ended up getting a lot of mercenaries for this assault, but two of them were from my own Family. I was happy to see them, but they were both subdued. I found out after that Illiase was not having a good night...

Sri Posted a Blog: A very early morning
We had just cleared the altered plane of Earth encroaching on the desert of the far south the night before when I felt the call of duty once more. It was not a far ride from home to the Northwestern firesand desert. There I came upon a group I've hunted with before, several months back. Normally I am uneasy around so many Guardians, but I have found at least in these, the desire to save Telara outweighs their hold on Vigil. We worked together to ensure the rifts were closed and the recruits still new to their training were kept safe...

Qai Posted a Blog: The Nightmare
As the sound of lightning crackles in the near distance, Qai feels the tickle of electricity in the air. She sighs heavily as she watches the shadows dance across the cave's wall, hoping sleep would find her sooner than the storm arrives lest she finds no rest for the night. The stone hanging from her necklace begins to glow a dark red as her eyes grow heavy. Qai's last thought is of the bauble she is designing as she drifts into a deep slumber. "Qai.. wake up." A rasping voice whispers in her ear...

Marmar Posted a Blog: The Wandering Assassin
A walking contradiction. That's Avaliana's favorite description of herself. A hardened High Elf born in Silverwood but raised in the heat of Fortune's Shore. Hailing from a wealthy trading family, her father was a skilled sourcestone merchant while her mother's potionmaking made sure they always had food on the table. All that wealth did little to sway Avaliana from mingling with the lowly gangs of the city's back alleyways. She learned to be clever, to be cunning, to be deceptive. She became known as an avid pickpocket and thief in general, only to sell the stolen goods legitimately through her father's connections...

Craythur Posted a Blog: A Prodigal Son
It's been over a year since I last ran with the Tuatha. After my disillusionment with EA/Mythic and the future of Warhammer I followed a handful of the family to LoTRO. I enjoy Middle Earth. I think the level disparities within the group were our undoing. By the time we were all the same level Rift beta and a new edition of DDO pulled most of us away. I played a bit of the Rift beta myself. The game didn't hook me enough to play at launch. So we came to a parting of the ways. I briefly dabbled with Cataclysm...

Arty Posted a Blog: Standing at death's door
Standing before the giant doors of Hammerknell Fortress Arty fidgeted nervously with her totem. The cool breeze of Moonshade Highlands ruffled her mountaineer gear. She deeply inhaled and relished the fresh air around her. She wasn’t completely sure what lay ahead of her but she knew it would be nothing pleasant. “These doors were purposefully sealed,” she told herself. “There is a reason why there is rumored markings on the walls that read, ‘Destroy the wheel. Never let them leave…’ she reminded herself...

Tashwen Posted a Blog: A Strange Love Pt 1
He peered through the trees. She was there waiting for him. He looked around carefully before stepping out into the open. They were far off the road that bridged Silverwood and the Moonshade highlands. Far enough that they would not be discovered. "You came for me!" she said softly, "I can't believe you really came for me!" Her black hair peeked out from under the mask. She was tall and slender but not as tall as the elf in front of her. He stepped forward and said in a gruff voice, "I told you I would take you away from that horrible outfit...

Manluas Posted a Blog: Inquisition Reigns
The sky filled with clouds, lightening dancing across the sky, two men stand in a grove with blood all over the grass, and the trees battle-scarred. One man is a tall Elven man wearing white armor with small spikes along the shoulders, gloves, belt and boots, the other a smaller human looking man on his knees with a sigil carved into his shoulder, with a faceless mask covering his head. "Tell me heretic, why are you here" The Elven man said "I shall tell you nothing!" The faceless one said...

Manluas Posted a Blog: Inquisitoral Missive
**In old archaic writing** To the Cardinals of Sanctum- The gloves have been taken off of the subject, and they are on the way to your custody, and to place them into the Vault of Heresy. I shall keep watch over the events that will transpire in these lands over the next few days. I do not see any reason beyond the gloves to place the subject under investigation, but the danger of the subject's soul and body becoming corrupted from the cursed items is still a possibility. Once the subject has healed and rested, I shall observe the subject, and then I shall make my decision if I shall place the subject in question under investigation.

Marmar Posted a Blog: Marmar's Field Journal: Entry 2: Digging Further
I was charged with visiting the Prince of the Elves, his lordship Prince Hylas Aelfwar. During the civil war of the Mathosians, he'd been firm about the elves staying out of the skirmish...and I agreed with him. But as the fighting in Mathosia went on, I learned of the horrors that had befallen what would later be known as Scarwood Reach. Those beautiful granitewood trees...all cut down for that man's war machines. Not a trace of the glorious trees remained, just pitiful roots. I changed my stance on the elven involvement after that...

Fearful Posted a Battle Recap: First night for Friday Night Raiders!
The night got off to a late start but went on without fail! After all the members were present and accounted for we set off for our first Raid in The Drowned Halls! After a few last minute adjustments we went into the First fight to take on Assault Commander Jorb. This fight was one for the record books! As a newly formed team the group performed with amazing strength and determination. As I recall we only took two deaths which is very good for a newly formed group with three members never seeing this fight before! On this fight Flint got a new epic rifle that he boasted about through the next fight because of how AWSOME it was! And I do agree it was pretty snazzy looking and did help his dps dramaticly...

Ainet Posted a Blog: Knocking on Death's Door
Sore and tired, Ainet had finally made her way through the undead elite and stood facing the portal to the River of Souls. It's swirling mass reminded her of a great maw eager to devour any who dared to enter. She nibbled on some rations as she contemplated if this was truly the right thing. "She doesn't remember the man she used to love; the man I used to be. Is it better this way?" she thought to herself. "She's happy and he seems a good man. Should I just accept what is and take solace in her happiness?" Her hammer's head flared as if answering her...

Fiddlez Posted a Guide: Fiddlez guide to Addons
I know the subject of weither to use addons or not is a hot subject with some, but I am personally a believer in rifts addon system. So I thought I'd do a quick write up of my personal picks for the must have addons to get or watch. Note: I use the curse client and have gotten all my addons from there due to the progam notifying you if an addon needs updating. 1: Herald's Buff Warden Madd Patch - buffwatcher Pro's - Keeps important buffs (can be set up to watch raid buffs as well) right upfront so you know if you get debuffed or they are getting close to timing out...
