Ragmar Posted a Battle Recap: Run, Fog, Run!
This last Clubnight was absolutely hilarious! There was just some crazy stuff that was going on.
The best part for me, however, was the final battle. We managed to drag a JQ zerg across the map, and got them to start fighting with a Blackgate zerg. We, of course, got smunched in the middle, but it was great! Lots of kills, lots of laughs. I love how in Gaiscioch we don't take everything super serious, we take it for fun. Winning is great, but laughter and memories last a lot longer than a weekly victory...

Ragmar Posted a Blog: The Beginning
"The Gaiscíoch hold honor, respect, integrity, and fellowship, over hierarchy and dictatorship." -Foglahda
Snow fell lazily from the sky, coming to rest on the things below it. The ground of the frozen, the battlements of the keep, the heads of the defenders as they went about their tasks. The sky was blanketed with clouds, and the wind blew gently. It was bitter cold, and the sentries had wrapped themselves in thick woolen cloaks, as they stood by braziers burning on the walltops. The fires that were crackling merrily within them were the only things that gave a semblance of cheer to the otherwise dismal scene...

Briseadh Posted a Battle Recap: Well Done
Very well organized and good explanations to help those not as familiar with WvW and small group tactics. Would give you a token, but being an elder I can only give them to Fog. LOL! So will give you some cheering here. =)

Aingeal Posted a Battle Recap: Aingeal's WvW Conquest 7/1/2013
This was definitely my toughest night so far commanding. In the past, I've been pushed off of places, but never had the trouble that I had tonight in trying to capture anything. However, finally, when it most mattered at the end of the night, we were able to pull off some awesome maneuvers. It started with a golem rush into the lord room of BG's fully upgraded Bay so spook them. JQ flipped it after 20 minutes of turmoil, but that wasn't the end of the matter. We got three mesmers hidden from JQ inside the now paper Bay that were never found...

Morigana Posted a Battle Recap: Pooka's Lowland Assault
Pooka spurred us on in SOR this evening and made taking Lowlands his primary, single minded, obsessive objection. As is witnessed by our long list of achievements for the evening we defended, we captured, we generally disrupted the enemy at all possible turns over the entire breadth and length of the SOR map and we blindly followed Pooka into Lowlands over 1/2 a dozen times. It should also be noticed in the chronicles of our achievements that not on one single occasion did we actually take Lowlands...

Butterflyfairy Posted a Battle Recap: Quest for World Completion
Thank you for all who assisted in the conquest of downing the champion in Malchor's Leap last evening; it was epic! Your heroism was like none other... fighting til the finish, dancing on the corpse, and living to fight another day... Go Gaiscioch!

Fiddlez Posted a Battle Recap: Fireista's final lunge
Upon hearing Fireista's plea to attain world completion, Auta Ra Blalil, Ragmar, and Ms Linda along with one other (sorry name will be corrected later) headed to the Lights Waypoint in Malachor's Leap to fend off the Champion guarding Fireista's last needed Skill Point.
Many died, were resurrected only to perish again. But through it all the champion was felled and the mighty part was there to witness that glorious symbol appear in Fireista's Nameplate symbolizing that World Completion had been attained...

Jadera Posted a Blog: Mulenua's Hibernia Story
Part One: Origins
Mulenua took the black ale to the back of the room and found a stout table that was heavy enough to handle anything and settled down. The inn is one of many within the city of Tir Na Nog but it is one of the few that Mulenua is both known and welcomed at. Mulenua was not her given name; Fiona of the Red Hair was what she was birthed with. Mulenua was an adopted name from the adventure stories that her grandfather told every night to help provide them both with hope.
Her grandfather was at her birth, talking to the spirits that night to make sure everything went well...

Aingeal Posted a Battle Recap: Arah Conquest
This is a really easy dungeon all things consider. You have three stages that end with a champion fight, all of which can melt pretty easily assuming you have the right help. Next you have a legendary mob that you take on after defeating three Orian towers. The legendary mob has an interesting mechanic involving vortexes that spawn from his mouth. You have to 'shut him up' by throwing fireballs into the vortex. After that, its a matter of using cannons to down three champion dragons. Finally, you defend a laser that rips Zhaitan from the sky, beat up a few of his eyes, and finally shoot him to his death with another set of cannons...

Kadiskas Posted a Blog: Her First Battle
Finally after months of making her armor, Kadiskas was finally ready for the first test of it. Standing in the training arena, she glances to her father from behind her helmet, giving him a slight nod then turns back to her opponents. She had been training with these two for quite some time now and they had become friends. She crouches a bit as she raises her shield and sword. Narrowing her eyes at them she stands at the ready as her father calls out to them to start. One instantly vanishes from sight...

Ragmar Posted a Battle Recap: Well, it was a fun loss.
This was my first guild led tPvP event. I pulled together a group of GSCH, and we ran in and jumped into a tourney just before prissy's event. It was definitely a lot of fun. The group was well built, and we worked together well, and almost had them. What cost us was they stole our boss kill. Had we gotten one of those boss kills in the beginning, we could've taken home a victory for the Gaiscioch. That being said, I've continued to participate in tournaments, and discovered a couple of winning strategies that I hope to be able to implement in the future...
