Over 2 years ago I announced that I was working on this little system. The initial design was to create a system that would help integrate new members into the community and ensure that they understand how our systems work and how to advance in the family.
First part was to create automatic tutorials that get sent to players after they receive promotions. Second part was to create a system where members can help players who are getting stuck in the system progress again. Through the mentorship console long time Gaiscioch members can take on mentoring people who have been in the family a while but are missing pieces of the picture for their next promotion. Already this has helped identify and assist several long time members that had never received a promotion even though they've been in the family for more than 5 years. As more mentors take on students and gain mentor ranks, the list of students needing assistance will shrink.
There are no rewards for being a mentor. Mentors choose to do this to help keep the community moving forward. This is a volunteer based role that anyone over the Siempin rank can participate in. You can learn more about the system at: http://www.gaiscioch.com/about/mentorship.html

I felt it was important to get this out there as we are a gaming community and this affects a lot of Gaming websites and services. A total of 4,287,625 websites & services may have been affected. To be safe Change Your Password. Make sure you set a unique password for each site.

Updated Elder Team for Spring 2017
With the growth we're seeing and expansions on the horizon for Guild Wars 2, Elder Scrolls Online, and new content coming into RIFT March 1st, we've decided to strengthen our eldership team giving ourselves some off peak times elders on the field. Each team received some new elders and we've also brought on a few to help guide the family from a public view.

Join Us at BetaCon PDX
If anyone is in the Portland, Oregon area, join us for BetaCon 2017, Portland's newest gaming convention. BetaCon is focused on the evolving technology of video games and looks to take the lead as a Gaming Technology conference.
