Surprise game of the year much? Everyone expected this to be another Mobile / PC dumpster fire like all of the others that came before it but Genshin Impact had other plans. This game is truly a wonderful game at the low price of free.
Most of the pay-to-win claims are by people that don't understand you can purchase the loot boxes with in-game currency as well as real-world currency to unlock new characters. It runs much like Guild Wars 2's gem system.
