Aoibheann Posted a Battle Recap: What a way to start the day
I was so very proud of everyone that came out this morning to fight. First thing we had to do was kick Darkhaven out of our borderland and then keep kicking them out of our fully upgraded garrison. I must admit that it was very satisfying that we did so well against DH, even when they brought multiple golems and hit us Fog style - as in a several pronged attack. Not only did we hold Garrison and clean up the rest of Sanctum of Rall, but then we went to claim the southern halves of Darkhaven as well as on Ehmry Bay...

Nokomo Posted a Battle Recap: Ebonheart Map Clearance: Eastmarch
I have really been looking forward to the Eastmarch run! I missed the last one and my character finally finished the zone, so I knew that I'd be getting a lot done. I enjoy these map clearing events so much - whether or not they start small, we pick up so many people along the way and just have a great time. Each member of the group is given the best situation in which he or she can complete objectives. It's great to break free of the solo mentality and get back into doing things with a group...

TernieLaBiscuit Posted a Blog: A Promotion, and a Reflection
So I'm apparently a Laoch now, meaning I'm a guide and I've helped in annihilation of many enemies in ESO. In my next step, should I choose to accept it, is to become a leader. I'm really not quite sure how to feel about that. Heck, I'm lucky enough to get myself around, let alone lead a group of people. While I wouldn't mind the option, I don't think I'm going to push it. I'll ease myself into a position as leader. I hate being the one to tell people what to do. I'm more of a go-with-the-flow kind of person...

TernieLaBiscuit Posted a Blog: Been a bang up time!
Lately, I've been working in Cyrodiil trying to level up my Alliance position there. I'm only level 11, which is pretty pathetic considering this game is a year old. And now there's a reason to hit up those dolmens with the new siege available by hitting them. I've also been working on leveling my other skills that are not 50, mostly in particular my Two-Handed greatsword skills. I've been using other skills I don't normally use, leveling them and using to use them to my or my group's advantage...

Draconid Posted a Battle Recap: Group Therapy
Thanks for another session for those of us that are afraid of heights, afraid of jumping puzzles, afraid of skritt, afraid of portals, afraid of Jay, afraid of that guy with all the muffins, afraid of shinies, afraid of running out of bag space, afraid of waking up under a world boss and wondering how we got there, and afraid of that odd dorito hovering above your head... One day soon we may all be cured! Draconid

CaptCaveman Posted a Blog: Danny PT2
Hey just wanted to share a boy's imagination and the way he took to the game, it was a lot of fun with him. I am very sorry that his Father couldn't hang with the illness I felt sad for Danny but you couldn't tell with him. He was very strong lad he told me one time that he cant be sad because of his mom, that brought me to tears, I truly miss him and every now and then I swear I hear his voice in the game who knows but I thought that the story of his friend Noriega The Brave shall continue in his Honor...

CaptCaveman Posted a Blog: Thank you Danny RIP
I'll try to post this the best I can, first let me fill you in a little. it's now been over a yr I haven't played GW1 or 2 with my little buddy, He was a very sick kid exactly how old I don't know his mom asked if I not give out he name heck I didn't know it for almost a year. I first met Danny (not his name but a nick name I gave him) in GW1 helping him in the oddest hours but it seem to help him and take his mind off of the pain. after about 3 months I had to speak with his mom to clear him to get on Ventrilo at the time...

Aoibheann Posted a Battle Recap: World wide wine tasting adventure
Thank you all for coming out and running around the world - several times I might add, and no matter what part you showed up for... As we ended up doing the whole thing event about 5 times just to make sure everyone got the full achievement. The last part was the exotic focus, Courage, which can be purchased on the trading post or made in the mystic forge. The best part of that was after salvaging it, we got more gold back for selling the inscription and sigil than the focus cost to buy. Yay! We had some very tipsy people and a whole lot of fun, see you next week as we do the explorer achievements in Frostgorge Sound...

Jairone Posted a Battle Recap: Level 8 Tempest Island: How not to die at low level...
How not to die at low level? It's fairly easy. First, when the group pulls hold block. You can survive the first attack from an archer this way. Make sure you stay back, but still close to the group. When fighting Bosses and Storm Atronach, use a ranged attack and then hide behind a wall... in the case of the Storm Atronach boss hide across the bridge. When fighting against the lightning circle guy (second boss) just run away from the circle. Don't try to sidestep it, run away! Thanks to the wonderful people who allowed me to be silly on my alt! *I got silly, and died to an archer by fighting it as an 8 against a 31...

Aoibheann Posted a Battle Recap: Special thanks to Rayne
She started the evening run off on the right foot by giving us three pre made omega golems, it was like Christmas morning! We jumped right in the golems and went off to take Bay on the Gates of Madness borderland. Where we also papered a lot of their other holdings while we were at it. Also big hugs for my Havoc group, sorry you had to leave the channel, things are much clearer for us all when we split up sometimes. Great job though and thank you for keeping me informed all night so we could pop in and out of the other borderlands to fight, but respond home as needed for defense...
