My 3rd visit too Hel Ra trail ended with us getting completion. Even though I was both tired and funble fingered, which involved me dying more than a few times, the group was supportive and both Lavum and Verve gave good pre-battle synopsis. So a big thank you too everyone on the run you all made it fun and i can't wait till the next run :)

I was having some very frustrating internet connection issues this morning, but after a few frantic text messages on my part, the troops rallied together and havoc ensued until I arrived. After several resets of the modem, the computer and finally a hard reset by the cable company... almost forty-five minutes late. Great job & big thanks to you all for your patience and perseverance. I don't know how many IoJ or AR it would actually take to wipe our group, but I do know how many they were going to use... It doesn't matter how badly we were outmanned - our skill was much greater than theirs, and it clearly showed on the field. We successfully routed them at Hills and at the southern towers, open field and in the camps - destroying several Omega Golems and more than a few Guild Catapults in the process. I was finally able to take some time and join in a Saturday in the Silverwastes and what a Saturday it was! We quickly captured and held all the forts (thank you for your leadership and communication, Lakshmi) against whatever the Mordrem threw at us, including not one but two legendary Mordrem champions! The Executioner and Tormentor were both defeated in short order, giving more than a few people (myself included) the Be All and End All achievement. Breach came more quickly than expected and we worked together to defeat all four events...

L L L stands for Legendary Leader Lakshmie. She was great ! Silverwastes have many nuances and pitfalls that can give the most ardent adventurer a headache. She guided us through those perils with poise and positive attitude. Orders were clearly communicated with explanations and she often provided us with insight on what was about to happen and what we needed to avoid. She knows her way with a shovel too. 11/10

It was a tough go last night in terms of the overwhelming numbers that AR had. But Sif kept things well organized, and light. Newcomers and long time returners were fully welcomed with open arms and all questions were answered promptly. It was a ton of fun. Sif runs a class act all around ! I had the chance to join Hella's party in this event, which was asked to go wreak havoc on our own. Hella too, was very helpful, and patient. We were able to pick our targets and antagonize the other groups, stealing camps and a few towers...

I was planning to be out in WvW tomorrow, but I have another appointment to go to in Chattanooga (I had blood drawn there today). They called me late in the day to see if I would be willing to do a walk in. Anyway, I will have to be there early in the morning. If I do get back in time, I will try to make it out for some of my event, but I am really expecting to be there all day (it is at the VA). A lot of people ask "Why?" when they see a Friday WvW Event and the outcome of the weekly match is already set. There are a lot of reasons - some of them have to do with the Champ bags, or the heavy loot bags our vanquished enemies leave for us, but the main reason I can think of is simply coming together and kicking butt as a Family. I was so very proud of everyone that came out this morning to fight. First thing we had to do was kick Darkhaven out of our borderland and then keep kicking them out of our fully upgraded garrison. I must admit that it was very satisfying that we did so well against DH, even when they brought multiple golems and hit us Fog style - as in a several pronged attack. Not only did we hold Garrison and clean up the rest of Sanctum of Rall, but then we went to claim the southern halves of Darkhaven as well as on Ehmry Bay...

I have really been looking forward to the Eastmarch run! I missed the last one and my character finally finished the zone, so I knew that I'd be getting a lot done. I enjoy these map clearing events so much - whether or not they start small, we pick up so many people along the way and just have a great time. So I'm apparently a Laoch now, meaning I'm a guide and I've helped in annihilation of many enemies in ESO. In my next step, should I choose to accept it, is to become a leader. I'm really not quite sure how to feel about that. Heck, I'm lucky enough to get myself around, let alone lead a group of people. While I wouldn't mind the option, I don't think I'm going to push it. Lately, I've been working in Cyrodiil trying to level up my Alliance position there. I'm only level 11, which is pretty pathetic considering this game is a year old. And now there's a reason to hit up those dolmens with the new siege available by hitting them. I've also been working on leveling my other skills that are not 50, mostly in particular my Two-Handed greatsword skills. I've been using other skills I don't normally use, leveling them and using to use them to my or my group's advantage...
