Sushigawa Posted a Battle Recap:
Everything went smoothly until the netch boss where we died once. The other time we died was during the part where we had to take on four dwemmer armies. The Engine guardian battle went pretty well, Our tank (whose name i forgot, sorry) disconnected halfway through.

Caludon Posted a Battle Recap: The night of no enemies
There seemed to be no resistance for the first 45 minutes of the trip tonight. We rolled through camps, towers, keeps, and garrisons. Very fun. But where were all the enemies...

Aoibheann Posted a Battle Recap: a wonderful welcome back
Thank you all for coming out for one of my favorite things... Jumping Puzzles! We had some new comers with us this evening and I really appreciate everyone's patience with them as they had to run the maps to get to us. My fault for not being better prepared for this one, I should have had a list of zones for you, I will do better next time. Truth be known, I thought I had taken myself off of the calendar this week completely. Luckily, when I logged to Gaiscioch today in I noticed that last weeks event (yes, even the wording - which I hastily changed) had posted again, so I quickly updated the description and then scrambled to get the computers ready to go...

Lionan Posted a Blog: Event calendar
Is it possible to view the time in the own time zone, in addition to the current time or instead of the current time? This would be possible maybe, by adding the own time zone in the data. It would making planning of events much easier.

Aoibheann Posted a Battle Recap: Wow, what a turn out tonight!
We ended up running it the whole JP twice, both times with extra ports. Thank you all for joining me in a fun activity with 10 achievement points (and five chests). Remember that I am moving next week, so if I am able to put something up for the achievement hunters, it will be a last minute thing. Be on the lookout just in case. I heard that Jumping Puzzles would be welcome....and that might be something I can pull off for you next week. After that I will try to get together a Lion's Arch Karka run for us and then Hot Tub jumping in the Edges of the Mist...

Asharei Posted a Battle Recap: Victory, at last!
Darkshade has been the bane of our Undaunted record from day one - the Hive Lord offering a DPS and Magicka check right off the bat, Grobull requiring serious crowd control to handle the multiple adds and aoe, and of course the Engine Guardian, which is a challenge of communication from beginning to end. We have run this dungeon a few times but have only defeated the Engine Guardian once and that had been on a run scaled to VR1. We only took home a silver key that night, and I as the squishy healer was the last one alive, soloing the boss for the last 10k of his life while the dead bodies of our tank and dps cheered me on...

LeslieoftheStars Posted a Battle Recap: Star's Havoc defends Bay!
A great Home Defence last night all! With only a few of us left on the maps, GoM decided to push hard. They took Bluevale Refuge camp and set up Ballistas, Arrow Carts, and a Treb inside to fire at our Bay's wall. We fortified Bay with our small numbers, left a few on siege and pushed into the camp. Each time we died, we respawned and pushed back in to them, with portal bombs and even thief invisibility. We fought for over 20 minutes and finally took the camp back, broke their toys, and repaired our wall...

Aoibheann Posted a Battle Recap: Trial run of Troll's Revenge
Thanks for coming out to this impromptu event. Everyone came staggering in at different times, so we spent a while porting around to get all 4 keys, but I am glad that we were able to finish the achievement for so many this time around. I have this officially marked on the calendar for Thursday and then I will be taking a week off from achievement hunters. Aoibheann Sidhe

Soren Posted a Battle Recap: 2nd BBQ was One Epic Fight
@ for 1 started out like it normally does but with a bit more tension in the air then normal. First run was a fail with the zerg not coming together and people not moving in to melee as needed. That said it wasn't a bad run. The final 2 burns were just to slow. So Kenage and I decided to take a different approach to the matter for round 2: we went back to basics. Like old skool, when Teq was firs revamped basics. Stack on the foot, get all of south hammering away with skills 3 and 4, north on skill 2...

Terafer Posted a Battle Recap: From SoR to GoM and Kaineng Great Monday Night Fights
Great effort tonight and good comm's all around in fights on GoM Kaineng and SoR defense. Well will try next time to get some groups set a bit earlier in the event with a front line back line next time. Great showing from all classes. We may have gotten a bit disorganized in a fight or two, but we did a great deal of good work. If we are not directly capturing objectives we are helping to relieve pressure on EGB and SoR a bit from time to time. When a map zerg is defending it's Bay on it's map it is not somewhere else hitting our borders...

Wonderland Posted a Battle Recap: Quiet but deadly
This was my first event as a GSCH guild member. (I don't count the SORC Guild Missions.) Very quiet group, but everyone was competent and we made it through in good time with a hiccup at only one boss. After the story mode was done, we stood around doing nothing for a few minutes. When I asked what next, a member stated that an explorable mode was to follow. I waited for a while, but no further direction was give, so I headed out to do some house cleaning (and this I suppose!) before daily reset :) Thanks for the event, Oldgoat! This is a convenient way to finish up all the story modes that I never bothered to do in the past.

TernieLaBiscuit Posted a Battle Recap: We took Black Boot!
In an effort to sway the AD away from attacking EP camps, we took Black Boot, and pushed the gate. While some of us breeched the gate, we did not make it to the scroll. However, diverting their attention to another campaign, EP was able to take the scroll with little resistance. Now that's what you call strategy. :)

Terafer Posted a Battle Recap: Dagger's, KONG, and a host of SoR take fight to GoM
Thank You Dagger's Tonight, for a bit, I was back in Tier one. Off the start with BP occupying GoM on Hills we grabbed Bay! Then Camps and the SW Tower, then great defense, and back to Hills as BP was on GoM's Garri ( More on that in a bit) then SE Tower and camps and a great defense of Bay. We beat GoM's WoE and a lot of there rallied forces on the SE tower and on Bay, with good coordination between guilds and great comms. This is one of the best Bay Defenses I have seen since Tier one. I Could not be more proud and impressed by all of you tonight...

What a day! So much fun was had as ALL of Tyria was ransacked to find Smitty as he hid anywhere and everywhere! Prizes were quite rich... 100 Gold per game! We all started off in Gendarran Fields to prepare for the festivities. Ale Kegs, Buffets, Fireworks, Boxes of Fun and Bobblehead tables were scattered everywhere as we prepared. Here is the crew that joined up for this awesome time! Hide and Seek 1 Clues (Tent near Scarlet's Marionette) Emote: /wave 1. Ugh, I'm so cold... 2. The snow is melting...

Terafer Posted a Battle Recap: Gaiscioch on the Attack on BP and GoM BL
Summertime has brought a familiar and a new opponent to SoR for this weeks reset. While a great effort had us tied with GoM last week we fell behind with there last day push. This is a very close match this week and I want to thank you all for putting up with getting a commander on VERY short notice. If I had some frustrations tonight it was mostly centered on some equipment (my mouse PTT and whisper chat) So excuse me for any of that that might have seemed to feed back to any comments or even heavy sighs! We did a great job tonight, Grabbing and holding our corner of the GoM BL and keeping it for quite a while...

Aoibheann Posted a Battle Recap: A 20 Slot Bag!
Huzzah!!! Thank you all for coming out with me for the Uncanny Canner Collection achievement and I hope that you put the 20 slot bag that you earned for completion to good use. There were a few people that missed the event, or came too late to catch up easily, so I posted a detailed guide for you to be able to finish it on your own (or grab some friends and do it together). You can read the guide here: http://guildwars.gaiscioch.com/lore/uncanny_canner_collection.html We will be finishing up the Trash Collector achievement next week, Thurs June 25th, and I hope to see you there!
