Profyle Knuckels Posted a Blog: We are the Pride of Magnus!
The Magnus was a powerful family that had been infiltrated by foreign myths and lore of what family should be. As one blood line of the family began to infect the rest of the family only 2 blood lines of the family remained uninfected. Those two families fought hard and down to the last drop of blood when a pack of lions who knew what true family was showed up on the battle field. Lead by a leader who only knew about family and had no standards just pride in what they could accomplish. The leader of the pack of lions Told the leaders of the Magnus I will show you our pride and we will forever be a family after this...

Boondoc Posted a Blog: Fearless Bright Wizard Experiment (Hey I'm going to die anyways)
Still really new to game so this has probably already been done and I just don't realize it. BUT it's a tad slow at work and I want to blog about it! Been playing for a few weeks now, leveled 90% in RvR and scenarios so I quickly learned to fear anything with an Axe or Sword running at me when in a PUG scenario. So I would run, and die. Then it finally dawned on me last week in a scenario, might as well just hurt them some first before I am stomped down. So now, unless I know I can get away...

Seabhran Posted a Blog: Finally got my beautiful elven Sword and my PassWatch Bow...
(By the honor of the Empire... I am Seeeeeeeabhran) LOL After a lot of great battles at Elf and Empire T3 fronts, finally got my PassWatch bow and Qhaysh Falcata (I'm not sure if that's the right name, but its a beautiful and powerful sword nonetheless). I'm probably saying goodbye to T3 with Seabhran now, but i would like to thank all the family members that fought at my side in these last days. I hope to meet you all again in the battle for T4. Blessed Be.

Clanorton Posted a Blog: order of the broken sword
The Order of the Broken Sword The Order of the Broken Sword formed after a band of local freelance knights led by Dott Barthos gathered together to go after a marauding band of Chaos Beastmen. In recent months, these Beastmen terrorized and pillaged several local farms. Their last raid left three entire families slaughtered, a missing farmer's daughter, and three mutilated cows. Something had to be done. The Knights tracked the Beastmen through the twisted forest to their camp and then readied themselves for battle...

Seabhran Posted a Blog: Not bad for a second time leader...
I'm very tired from the long battle, but i need to share it with you... We had a great campaign today at T3 Elf and Empire. First, we took almost everything, and then we kept chasing the forces of Destruction back and forth to demoralize them. We had more than 20 victories (sad thing I can't record them yet! But we had some ranked family members at the WB. Maybe they can help me with that, right?). The most amazing thing was... even when we were defeated now and then, people won't leave the Warbands...

Stean Posted a Blog: Armyn in the Dunes
We moved swiftly through the dune, our mounts leaving whirling dervishes of sand in our wake. Thirteaight blazed a trail. His helmeted head swiveling to and fro, sharp eyes merely slits in his armor, on the lookout for signs of the enemy. We were well beyond the safety of the walls and they had already struck at us twice before as we raided a bandit camp in the shadow of a large dune. Viktre rode to on his right always watching in the direction he was not, yet sometimes it seemed as if her eyes lingered just a moment longer at her companion...

Seabhran Posted a Blog: The taste of victory (against all odds)
Today I led my first campaign against the forces of Destruction. It all started as a small Warband, little more than a simple group, led by someone else. We took some battle objectives in the Imperial T3 front before the former leader left us, leaving me on command. Having barely half Warband around me, we kept on with the guerilla campaing until we hit the tower just west of Passwatch Castle. It was then that the men started to rebel against all leadership and decided to act by their own ideas, spreading around the field and engaging in unorganized skirmish against the forces of Destruction...

Seabhran Posted a Blog: Some (passionate gaming) tales by the fire...
I have a long history with gaming. Since the days when the first Ataris made their way into Brazilian market, and into my living room, I fell deeply in love for the simple concept of playing all by myself in a fictional scenario provided by a machine. To make a very long story a little shorter, with the dawn of the MMORPGs I discovered it was much better not to play all by myself. I've played Runescape (http://www.runescape.com) for almost 2 years before giving up to the colorful lure of World of Warcraft...

Foghladha Posted a Blog: oRvR Leadership Series: Commanding the Public Group (PuG) Part 3: Thinking in Multiple
The biggest misconception with Public Groups is that they lack organization and unity. Typically this is assumed and is largely due to the frequent lack of leadership in the battlefield. Taking your 24 man enterprise warband and turning it into a 100+ man warforce is no easy task. Without help you will suffer from some of the age old problems that so many PuG herders before you have fallen victim too. 1. Un-Unified Leadership With each warband being led by someone you don't know and have no lasting relationship with you never know if they will have your back...

Donaliam Posted a Guide: Guide to the Liniments
This is a list of the Liniments, their buffs and the Ingredients used to make them. All Liniments require level 40 to use, 200 Apothecary to and last only 30 minuntes. When making the liniments the bottle you use doesn't make any difference but be sure to use either 1 Majestic Fusk (Multiplier) and 2 Pristine Arboreal Resin Stabalizer or 2 Taut Gobswort (Multiplier) and 1 Pristine Arboreal Resin Stabalizer. At this time the duration of the liniments cannot be increased. Liniment Name Liniment Buff Main Ingredient Main IngredientFound by...

Foghladha Posted a Blog: oRvR Leadership Series: Commanding the Public Group (PuG) Part 2: Harnessing The Public Warforce
Stepping into the helm of a PuG or Public Warforce can be a bit daunting at times. You frequently will be repeating orders, moving members around the groups, finding yourself standing alone, and often times going blue in the face trying to get people to follow your lead. Most of these things can be reduced but it is important to remember your at the helm of a PuG not a premade. PuG’s will only listen when its convenient, or when there is a clear objective that meets their goals. Half of your force will follow your lead the other half will do what they think is best for the group ignoring your commands and doing their own thing...

Foghladha Posted a Blog: oRvR Leadership Series: Commanding the Public Group (PuG) Part 1: Group Chemistry
Leading Public Groups reminds me a lot of playing and coaching football. In youth football every season brings new players, new faces, first time players, long time player, skillful, and the tragically skilless. In High School the players typically are the same group of guys every year with a couple new faces thrown in the mix. College it's the same crew every year with a couple of hot heads fresh out of high school to screw up the chemistry. Now of all the time I spent playing tackle football I would never compare any of it to leading a Public Group. That is what I'd refer to as a Premade.

Foghladha Posted a Blog: oRvR Leadership Series: Weapons of WAR Part 3: Orchestrating the Battlefield
In the past two parts of my oRvR Leadership series we discussed Morale Control and Using Greed as a weapon. In part three we look at combining these essential skills into conducting the warfront. The warzone is your symphony and the battle will be your masterpiece. You can be the best and lead a flawless victory every time however there is a Golden rule I teach everyone that follows my lead. "Never beat an opponent so bad they don''t want to play you." There is nothing worse than having an empty battlefield...

Foghladha Posted a Blog: oRvR Leadership Series: Weapons of WAR Part 2: Greed, Destroyer of Societies
From the time were born to the time we die there is one thing that drives human kind... Acceptance. A child looks to his parents for acceptance in the form of love and nurturing. A student looks to his peers for acceptance. A professional looks to his industry for acceptance through through their success. Lastly the elderly look for acceptance into the afterlife. No matter the stage of life the one think all people seek is acceptance. Now for some being accepted means having the best toys, the most money and the most fame...

Foghladha Posted a Blog: oRvR Leadership Series: Weapons of WAR Part 1: Morale Control of Friend and Foe
Through my journeys as a oRvR Warlord I have learned a lot from the battles at hand. Out of all the weapons I've wielded there is only 1 that determines the outcome of a battle. Morale. With every victory the morale will rise. With every defeat the morale will sink. In my time I have found that every loss will cost you 20% of your warforce. Each victory will bring 10% to you. Giving your troops victories essential to maintaining a controllable force. When you find yourself against a foe too great to overcome with your numbers at hand the appropriate response is to move faster than they move...

Beyor Posted: First "Battle for the Badlands"
Just finished my first BftB event... good times. Thanks all for being patient with a noob that didn't even know you could switch realms! I thought "Once in the Empire vs Chaos storyline that is where you stay..." Mind you, without a mount running back and forth is a little tiring. Hope to be mounted before the next big event. Well organized and well led. I shall return to the battlefield on another night! Anyhow, thanks again!
