Bogron Posted a Blog: Down but not Out
I will be away from War for 7 to 14 days. A bad Thunderstorm went thru my town and Burned up a piece of my Wifi Link equipment. So as soon as this replacement comes, I will climb a 115' tower replace it and then will be back up and killin Destro! Good luck hunting..

Donaliam Posted a Blog: An oRvR Night That Wont Be Forgotten
It was the Battle for Badlands Season 3 kickoff. It was in tier 1 and it reminded me of what oRvR was like when the game first launched. Just masses v masses or as most call it, zerg v zerg. The whole night was a tug of war. Order would push and take everything, then destro would push. What was really fun for me was going through alt-itus and twink-itus. I switched between 4 different characters last night just for the fun of it. Started with a Knight, then went to a Witch Hunter, followed by a Shadow Warrior then ending the night with a newly created Bright Wizard...

Korzak Posted a Blog: Keep it in the Circus!
Ran another successful Lost Vale this Friday and Saturday. It's very good to be able to pick up a new person or two and still make it through the whole thing. This week we subbed in Docroc for Vampiresbane, and ran him all the way through it, and it was his first time in the dungeon!
We only did the left and right wings on Friday night, cause a few of us were about to fall asleep at the keyboard. It was a little rougher than our last pass, but we made it through, and got a couple pieces of gear in the process...

Donaliam Posted a Blog: Belts, Belts and more Belts.
I often wonder how many times can one person receive the same loot out of a gold bag. It's happened many times before way back before medallions were around to buy the armor pieces. I have to say, 5 warlord belts in a row just seems a bit much, but that is OK. I am still having fun playing and I know my luck will change soon.

Craythur Posted a Blog: From David to Goliath and back to David again.
From David to Goliath and back to David again. Or: Northrends charms could not hold me long.
I had canceled my WAR account and retired my squig herder. I then caved into pear pressure (much of it from my wife) and returned to Warcraft. The timing of Wrath of the Lich King was no accident I'm sure. It was perfectly positioned to steal the thunder from Warhammer and devour anyone on the fence. Whether this was great timing on Blizzards part or a spectacular blunder by EA is perhaps irrelevant.
Northrend, the new continent at the center of the new WoW expansion, was visually stunning...

Korzak Posted a Blog: A Sovereign Cloak! . . . again
I'll start out with the good news that sounds less like the tantrum of a young child. I'm no longer alone in the Gaiscioch at rank 80. It was fantastic to see Craythur finally hit the mark, just a couple weeks after myself. I was starting to get lonely!
WARNING: THIS BLOG MAY SEEM MUCH LIKE A RANT. THAT'S BECAUSE IT IS!
I suppose that I've been putting in alot of time on my other higher rank alts, my Rune Priest is 42 and my Engineer is now 50. I suppose I've been staying out of the city quite a bit on Korzak...

Seabhran Posted a Blog: Two more for the "family album"
Today was a busy day for Seabhran in PVE and Scenarios. She had to take her time taking advantage from the item she got from the Talabec Event. So, despite she wasn't able to attend to the Tuatha affairs earlier, at least Seabhran got the time to fight some battles and kick some Destrution heads. After a long night of battle and glory, one needs to relax a bit.
In her leisure time Seabhran likes to play some music... as almost all Shadow Warriors. These are some pictures of her taking some time to rest at Bitter Woods camp, in High Pass...

Craythur Posted a Blog: War Was everywhere! Or riding the wave of hype, expectation, and good will.
What do I say about War's launch? I look back on those days with bittersweet memories. I rolled destruction on Uthuan with some friends from Warcraft. That sounds simple enough. There was plenty of hand ringing over which faction to play. In the end, we went with side that excited us most visually. Picking a server was no easy task. Everytime we had a consensus the server list changed or news from a huge zerg guild made us doubt our decisions. Some of us had beta/headstart status which affected our planning...

Seabhran Posted a Battle Recap: We almost flipped it all again at T2
After Foghladha's glorious Trinity event, I got lead of the rags of one of the WBs. We rebuilt the WB, made an epic defense of Mandreds, then went on to retake Empire lands BO's (until we got a lock there), and then locked Elf lands again by making PQs. We tried to lock dwarf, but met strong Destruction opposition at Barak Varr. We managed to take Fangbreaka, Tomb and Goblin Armory, though. I passed on lead to one of the members because I was already too tired of the day. But everyone at the WB was very happy about our campaing...

Seabhran Posted a Battle Recap: Seabhran's first campaign
This one was the first WB led by Seabhran at T4, and at the same time was the first WB led "officially" by Seabhran after finishing her Faolchú training. Still have a lot to learn but... hey!... We locked DW with 70 VP (due to underdog). =)

Falonarion Posted a Blog: Update On Recent Activities
Not sure what happened, but blog got posted and could not find the edit feature.
Anyway in case many missed the news last month had some chest pains which resulted in stress related stroke and surgery to remove gall stones. As such had to take a medical leave of absence from playing any type of PVP games which unfortuantly includes Warhammer and was getting comfortable with being a casual pvper (just do not spread it around, it would ruin my rep as a die hard carebear pve player).
Gone back to playing World of Warcraft pve mode ala pve server...

Jayluray Posted a Blog: My 1st T4 experience
Wow! T4 is definately different than T3! I felt like death walking around due to always being dead most of the time. The guild invited me to a wb in the city scenerio. I didn't know which way was up. It was crazy and I felt like a total rookie. I hate that feeling. Anyway, Fog was leading the group which was great experience to just witness but I felt like a thorn that couldn't do anything. It really sucked to be honest. I am going to try to level up to get better gear and experience but what a shocker to start out...

Korzak Posted a Blog: Lost and Found: Vale. Again.
Mamby Pamby Elves. I think that pretty well sums up the Lost Vale. Those damn pointy ears are at it again. And by 'it' I mean crying and moping and being too mamby pamby to go save their own queen. But what can you expect from elves. Hah.
For the second week in a row, Hellreike, Craythur, Vampiresbane, Helmm, Oldroar(sm) and I (on Tuhb) have gotten together and made a nice run on Lost Vale. Last week we ran left and right wing on Friday and center on Saturday, but this week we managed to get all the way through it, except for N'Kari, on Friday...

Stockade Posted a Blog: Issues Resolved... Healer Back In Action!
Well, in the past I've always preferred playing healer characters in most games. With WAR I had some issues with the addons that assist with healing.
Apparently WAR does not support it's mods having slash commands and you actually need a mod to enable this so that other mods can be setup appropriately. *rolls eyes*
But now that this is done I can actually play my healer without wanted to rip out my hair in frustration! So Healing here I come!
Now... I just need to find someone of appropriate rank online when I am to invite my healer to the guild =P

I came to the camp of oathhold where i met Durik Redbeard and he told be of a party setting out to do the same as me.

Stockade Posted a Blog: Impressed By Castles
Well, a huge change between Tier 2 and 3 seems to be the castes. I thought attacking forts was impressive but castles place a whole new spin on it.
These things are huge! With not only the standard fort inside but some great walls as a first line of defense they definitely take more effort to breach when there are defenders.
I must say however that I feel weak again. Even with the great influence gear from Tier 2 I'm getting ripped to shreds much quicker in Tier 3.
Guess it's time to gear up again...

Stockade Posted a Blog: Looking forward to Tier 3
Well, had a great time tanking the oRVR in Tier 2 with tonight's pickup. Was a blast! The Warband roamed for hours and aside from one staggering defeat at Madreds we kicked Destructions butt!
I hit 18/18 tonight and got to get some of those purple influence rewards. After claiming them I realized I would not be on this battle field much longer.
What a shame, I've had a great time out there. Oh well, I'm sure there are many more fun battles to be had in Tier 3... though I'm sure I'll get to feel like a newb all over again...

Korzak Posted a Blog: To Kill Boss 5
Last night, Craythur, Don, Hellreike, Tallahassee, Blocked and I decided to pick up where we left off in Tomb of the Vulture Lord, at boss 5. We'd made pretty decent time getting through boss 1-4 on Monday evening, teaching the fights to those that had yet to do them, and I was hoping we'd have some success on boss 5. I think half or more of the through had at least been to that particular fight before, and we all agreed it was probably the most difficult. So a little after 8 central we go in and got started...

Stockade Posted a Blog: Oh My... What a big tick
Had an amazing night in RvR last night. Joined a small 6 man group that eventually grew to a 2 WarBand Zerg. Destruction made a good show of things as well and it made for a really fun battle.
We actually managed to lock the zone and to quote someone from the Tier 2 RealmWar channel "Oh My... That was a big tick"
To sweeten the night, I actually won one of those high end bags from a keep defense and pulled out a devastator Corslet. I can't equip the thing for 10 more levels, but that doesn't stop me from ogling over it in my inventory!
Last Note: After that keep defense I have more respect for my skill "Hold The Line!" than ever before.
