Susulemon Posted a Battle Recap: Sorrow's Embrace
Fun times with the family while taking down misguided dredges, and watched Eir argue with Zoja before out eyes, we pray for their reunion as best buddies.

Schwebs Posted a Blog: Draytonn Clovis - Lamentations of a Thief
My player is a noob - “He is the single worst player in the game, all servers combined. He has no concept of attack rotation. It rarely occurs to him to change his weapons mid-fight. Using dots in the middle of a fight rather than the beginning, buffing when he is nearly dead, dodging when he should be finishing. Don’t even get me started on Combo finishers – like speaking Farsi to a penguin for him. Yup, he is the least competent player ever and he controls my every move.” “The early days weren’t that bad...

Viktor Posted a Guide: Basic guide on WvW (GW2)
Say it's your first time on your own in WvW. Chances are you're lost, confused, and most likely will wind up dead as you wander around wondering what to do. Fact is, there is always something to do in WvW. However, some things are better to do than others. And there are some, "unwritten rules" that should be made aware to the community. Rule 1. If there's a queue, then you are always doing something productive. If there's a queue and you're just messing around in WvW (This includes map completion and puzzles), Start doing something to help your server or free up the queue for someone else to come in...

Pookha Posted a Battle Recap: Gaiscioch Lion's Arch Dance Party
After grouping together in order to check out each other’s gear, a dance party broke out. We were looking so good at the time I just had to get some video of us. There was quite a bit more dancing than this video shows, but this was my first time filming in Lion's Arch so much of my footage was not useable. All in all I think the video turned out ok for my first try with no UI. Sorry about the mouse, again we were looking so fine I did not even notice it at the time. I hope we are able to get some more videos in the future using some different songs...

Athran Posted a Blog: what I think about guild wars 2
I think Arena Net did a good Job on making a creative and well designed game. What it is missing that I want Dungeon Finder Housing What I don't wish to see happen constant nerfs to specific classes

Messed up some of the rewards like assault which is equal to all the towers and keep we took, gathering events which are skill points and jump puzzle we did since we had all map under our control and no opponents. Claimed the lake when it shouldn't count for now.

Rayko Posted a Guide: "Pistol Whip" Thief Build: WvW focus
This is a very effective burst dps build. When executed correctly will annihilate most other players in 3-4 seconds. I am level 80 but my gear is not tweaked out yet, I still have slotted armor pieces and a level 45 ring, so I looked forward to seeing how much more I do when I get respectable set of gear in working order. The build centers around using Sword/pistol ability "Pistol Whip" twice in a row with no cast time, this coupled with the traits that cause steal to do damage(i.e. mug)is a very HIGH DPS burst of damage that will drop most players almost faster than they can react, and if they do survive for some reason you will be able to make short work of them...

Miraj Posted a Blog: A Calling for Raiders
Many of ue have had the fortunate opportunity to experience various raids (GP, HK, RoTP to name a few), with exceptional leaders such as Tashwen, Vay, Moksoon, Suluos, and Hosfi. Unfortunately, many of us are unable to join in due to real life situations and schedules. I too have tasted the thrill of raiding and desire for more. What I am looking for are individuals who also want to continue raiding, learning more about and from these raids. If you could please list your name and times that your are available, I will do my best to try and schedule various raids in an attempt to accomodate these schedules...

Cedar Posted a Blog: A Few Words on WvW
Hail Gaiscioch! I just came off of another excellent guild WvW event, where we really stuck it to Darkhaven. Well done all! However, there are a few things that I think deserve mention, to help us be even more effective and ensure success. The first is "chatter" in RaidCall. As a social group, it is natural that we want to talk to one another, and who wouldn't want to get in on such an opportunity with so many members present at once to talk to! But "chatter" also has a darkside. It can make important directions from the Commander and aides hard to hear...

During the evening of 9/22, Sol Denal, Vianne Enaj, Akeyiro, Thadron Holmstrom (guild applicant) and I ventured into Ascalon Catacombs (story mode). It was my first time in a Guild Wars 2 dungeon. We managed to slog through the dungeon and get it done.

Flik Posted a Guide: Charr RPing guide
(This is a copy/paste from the forums) To any of you roleplayers who wish to play as a Charr, know that Charr is a very, very strict race to play as. From how your Charr acts all the way down to it's very name. Let's go over a few terms that are specific to the Charr. Curtesy of http://guildwars2roleplay.wikispaces.com and http://wiki.guildwars2.com for some direct quotes. The Charr: The charr are a race of large, savage, feline creatures that occupy much of eastern Tyria. They have renounced all gods as false and instead view all of life, from magic to combat, with a hard, cynical eye...

Nora Posted a Blog: It's been a while.
I haven't been an active player for a little bit. There have been some big, but very happy, changes in my life. The past six months I've spent planning my wedding, which went down on the 8th of September without a hiccup. With things settling down in my home life, I expect to be free to play more often.

Xaris Posted a Guide: Abyssal Precipice Expert
This is a guide to Abyssal Precipice Expert. Let's start with Group composition, You will want 1 tank, 1 Healer and 2 DPS, the support role character can choose to play support, or to DPS depending on if healing is sufficient and your group is looking for more DPS. You will begin by clearing the trash all the way to the first boss called Kale Andrenos, Boss: Kaler Andrenos This boss is very simple, Tank will hold him about where he stands moving out of any area effect he may spawn this area effect is going to also become a pillar of ice that the group may hide behind to avoid getting instantly killed by his ability "Icy Explosion" alternatively the group may hide behind the cave entrance to line of sight the boss...
