Terafer Posted a Battle Recap: Daggers on the attack in SoR , Dragon Brand and SBI
Great Night of fights and conquest thank you all for your efforts tonight! Next time I will be more careful of my placement of portals and we may once again give DB some headaches at there garrison. I hope to see you all next week! Cheers!

Marcovius Posted a Battle Recap: Like a Rolling Tide...
GSCH members too many to count rolled through Mount Maelstrom - an unstoppable tsunami crashing into and crushing all obstacles arising before it. The Infinite Coil Reactor Meta Event chain completion culminated in an extended fight with the Commander. I know I got bounced around a bit, and although I was Downed a couple of times there was always someone there to help pick me back up. Other "tough" zone champions managed to survive for a few brief moments before they too were snuffed out - Aquabase Terror-Seven's massive pet, Fluffy, and the Krewe Leader come to mind...

Terafer Posted a Battle Recap: Daggers early defeat at SoR Garrison ...becomes great Victory at DB Garrison.
Just as we gathered in Sanctum of Rall Borderlands for the evenings festivities a large DB force successfully assaulted our SoR Garrison. We were greatly outnumbered and had not yet fully organized, the fight was over quickly. ( I will be more proactive in my screams for help in the future!) Even with the early set back the Dagger's rallied and headed off to the DB border to have a bit of fun. From that point on we were on the assault. Taking down siege at keeps, taking towers and Keeps and getting the blood lust buff in DB border, building golems for later as we went thru the evening...

TheChadillac Posted a Battle Recap: Another great night!
Thanks to everyone who came out to fight tonight. One criticism, Aingeal is very knowledgeable and leads very well, would be nice if he had a bit more patience, especially with the group being for beginners. Calling things out well ahead of time would save heartache amongst the group. Other than that, I had a great time and cannot wait until I get to play again!

Rev Posted a Battle Recap: Sometimes less is more
For our Monday GTA we had a smaller group than normal, probably less than 60. Even with lower numbers and trash talking trolls, Jessica got us through the Bounty, Challenge, Puzzle and Rush in plenty of time. It was a rambunctious group, but our leaders held it all together. We brought down Bookworm easily as our Bounty. We killed the Ogre and Devourers simultaneously in "Branded for Termination" for our Challenge. We went to Angvar's Trove for a frozen guild puzzle, and even that couldn't slow us down (Does anyone have the Dolyak torch?)...

Neoyoshi Posted a Blog: Daedric Light-Armor Re-imagining Concept Art.
So for some time now, I've always wanted to see Re-imaginings of a lot of the Armor types in the Elder Scrolls titles.
One of which is the Daedric armor, it's always been one of my favorite designs from a aesthetic point-of-view. And it has always been one of the most "Prudish" and unflattering pieces of armor as well.
It just wants to cover up everything. xD
Well, i wanted to see what it would look like if it was redesigned to be skimpy.

Rev Posted a Battle Recap: They could not keep the Keeps
We began in SoR borderlands only to see that our server was not in control of most of our own lands. That changed quickly. We took some supply camps and then moved mighty golems to reclaim our Garrison. After we dominated the Northern part of the map, we switched to other borderlands to catch them off guard. We dominated the supply camps in enemy lands and then began to move our siege weapons to their gates. For such a small raiding force we were able to take multiple victories and an amazing Keep assault...

Ekadzati Posted a Blog: ESO: Ekadzati, Dunmer Sorceress (backstory, origination into the ESO world)
The books clunked and thumped onto the floor as the weary woman settled into the chair, accidentally disturbing them. “Damn it, Ek, watch what you’re doing!” The Nord who shared rooms with the sorceress huffed resentfully as she sprang from her seat upon the chaise to gather the tomes from the floor and gently place them out of the other woman’s reach.
Ekadzati nodded wearily, “Yeah, yeah, precious books of learning, mustn’t injure them. Maybe you should put them back in the library, where dusty old things belong...

Ezsme Posted a Blog: Gold on the Ice
“Get out of the way, Elke.”
The tall Nord growled at his sister. He stood in the doorway holding the limp body of an unconscious Altmer girl.
“Is she all right?” Elke motioned to the bed, where she pulled back the covers. Bjarn gently laid the girl down and covered her with the heavy furs. “Bjarn?”
“I don’t know, Elke.” The words came out more harshly than he intended. “I’m sorry, Skatt , just get me some cold water.” Bjarn turned his attentions back to the young Altmer on the bed...

Rev Posted a Battle Recap: Very Helpful
Besides the obvious lessons in the basics of wvw (supply, repairs, upgrades, captures, and defends), our group also received a very helpful lesson in combo-fields. I have been playing GW2 since the beginning and I learned many secrets of combo-fields that I had never heard before. We used the lessons to bolster our attacks and to heal in the midst of grand battles. As a new member of the family, I am really looking forward to all the wisdom and strategy that will be shared in this community. It also made me feel better and a bit more confident about going into the wvw battlefield.

MrHairyHoudini Posted a Battle Recap: Guild Challenge, Dungeons, Fractals and WvW
Hi All,
Had an absolute blast partaking in the guild challenge, unfortunately my Internet went down and I could not complete other activities. Boo hoo nevermind, there will be other adventures to meet up with people and get involved. On another note, I'm quite versed in dungeons and fractals so if anyone needs a hand then simply give me a shout and i'll gladly help out. My main characters are Mr Hairy Houdini (Mesmer), Pippie Sundance (Guardian) and Brute Willis (Warrior). However, I don't have much experience with WvW but attended Prissy's basic training and enjoyed it immensely - think I'll take my Guardian along in future...

Oldgoat Posted a Battle Recap: WvW training event
We gathered and learned some basics about Combo Fields and Combo Finishers. We practiced stacking and using combos to enhance our abilities, speed us up, and heal ourselves as a group. We then entered the battlefield and put what we learned into practice.
We also learned some other things, what supply was for and how to use it. Along with some knowledge of tactics. We learned how to defeat a group that was larger than us by using the "drive through, combo, and drive back through" method.
Every thing was made clear on every battle...

Riannoc Posted a Blog: Frustration is...
...working on map completion and finding that a tiny little nearly useless area was the one bit keeping me at 174/175 for Krytan Explorer.
Long story short, after running around a number of zones discovering the new points added by the living story I still didn't have it. I'd even completed Southsun Cove, which I later learned didn't count toward this anyway.
But what did count was one tiny little area in the far southeast corner of Queensdale. It took all of a minute to port in and run over to reveal it after hours of searching other zones...

Sylus Posted a Guide: Elder Scrolls Lore: Argonian names
Greetings All!
If you choose to play an Argonian character in The Elder Scrolls Online, and wish to stay within the lore, you may benefit from the contents of this article.
Argonians can have three types of names.
The first type is the given name, which consists of a first name and possibly a family name, depending on whether they hold ties to an Argonian family or not. For Example, "Asuman Calidesh" or "Skalava Galthees".
The second type is an Argonian hyphenated name, sometimes called a "Black Marsh" name, such as "Jid-Mei" or "Brand-Na"...
