Findan Posted a Battle Recap: The Capture of Green Briar Tower
The gate had almost been rammed down when the scout report came in. The enemy had been spotted on a hill in the distance behind our heroes. They had been silently waiting, observing our group of heroes, looking for the opportunity to ambush them inside Green Briar Tower. The gate fell, a quick decision was made and the order given to rush in. There was no time to waste. The objective was to get in and burn down the guards and the Tower Lord as fast as possible in order to capture the tower before the enemy had time to react...

Findan Posted a Battle Recap: The Battle for GoM Bay
The sound of battle rang out fiercely outside GoM Bay. Our small squad of heroes had successfully captured the enemy's South West Supply Depot only moments before. Battle cries were heard over the clamour of steel on steel and destructive magic. A scout was sent ahead to assess the situation at hand. GoM was attempting to retake their Bay whilst DR were fighting to retain it. The outer walls were down, our heroes sensed an opportunity to strike at their enemy whilst their attention was focused elsewhere...

TernieLaBiscuit Posted a Blog: VR5
Hit VR5 today. Took 11 days from VR4. Leveled up with a quest in Alik'r Desert when I turned a monkey into a person. To date, I have all Skyshards collected in Ebonhart and Daggerfall. Once I finish the Almanac quests, I'll be able to finally move on to Aldemeri.

Findan Posted a Battle Recap: Operation Camp-Stomp (Behind Enemy Lines) ...
Deep into the heart of enemy territory, right on the doorstep of the enemy's infamous Citadel, the small, yet fearless chaos squad lay in waiting, scouting, observing their objective, awaiting the right moment to strike a blow at the enemy, in order to cut off valuable supply to the enemy's fortifications. The camp appeared to be deserted, the signal was given for the squad to attack. Our heroes charged in, twisting and turning, cutting down the sentries and guards left and right. Everything appeared to be going as planned when suddenly the alarm was sounded...

Erion Posted a Battle Recap: Learn By Doing - Sorrows Embrace P2
This crew took on arguably one of the longest and most difficult dungeon paths in the game. Every encounter went something like this. Step 1. Goat does a wonderful job of explaining the fight. Step 2. We engage, get overwhelmed, start dying. Step 3 (optional). Step 4. We recover, reset, come up with a modified plan. Step 5. Go back in a kill everything! Step 6. Profit! What was so fantastic about this dungeon experience was that we didn't follow the "stack to win" tactics, and adapted to the encounters on the fly...

Ekadzati Posted a Battle Recap: Tempest Keep (served it up in a cup!)
Murben, Muzette, and Villaovi and I rolled through this place and showed them what a real tempest looks like... glory to The Pact!

Ekadzati Posted a Battle Recap: Family run +1 (healer) success!
Villaovi and Muzette has to depart, but that didn't stop us! Khaleesi joined and we added a grand sorcerer healer named Yulia Risingsun and, together, we brought some heat to Direfrost Keep!

Despite computer issues and first visit jitters, Villaovi, Murben, Muzette, and I ensured that Volenfeel knew Gaiscioch had been there!

Ekadzati Posted a Battle Recap: Fam Fun Times in ARX
Pops Tart, Belegross, Syn Harl and I showed those arrogant Lamia a thing or two today; though admittedly, The Lamia Queen brought a bit of her own, reptilian brand of smack down to play. Shards, books, and bosses all fell into our hands (as well they should!).

Jairone Posted a Battle Recap: Long travel times and stupidly low hp pools did not stop Cyrodil dolmen event.
We gave a lot of horses a very good workout, traveling in a circle around the whole Cyrodil map. Sadly, the mobs at the dolmen in Cyrodil are very weak. We had to back off in order to help people get completion. Thank you DeaconGrim and Foviel for stepping up to help lead the second group through the course of the night!

Kaytlin Posted a Battle Recap: Thanks Findan!
Just a note to thank Findan for stepping up and leading when my internet went down. It was an epic defense of Hills in SOR with a three way battle for control of the Lords Room. Twice we beat back the hordes of enemy troops and everyone did a great job. When I disconnected for the second time the battle was still raging.

Briseadh Posted a Battle Recap: Great Event
Despite the issues we had in Stonefalls and Deshaan Jairone handled them well. Birdee stepped up to run a second group so we were two smaller groups to keep us from having as much of an issue plaguing larger groups though we could have filled one full raid. Once in two groups and away from what seemed a little higher populated areas the issues were far less though we still had random disconnects porting. A very good time was had by all and we did get to all the dolmens and if anyone missed a dolmen it was few and as for me, only one of all the Ebonhart Pact due to the lag and disconnects...

Jairone Posted a Battle Recap: Lag plauged Stonefalls and somewhat Deshaan, but dolmen were still destroyed.
There were some definite lag issues while we tried to get going on the dolmen destruction achievement run. I want to thank everybody for not freaking out too much (except myself, who was frantically trying to find some way to make it better) and for sticking with it where applicable. Should anyone need help with Ebonheart area dolmen, feel free to ask! Next week I will be heading toward Cyrodil, and hope to see some of you there!

I hit VR4 today. I believe with the questing in Craglorn I was able to level up faster. I was at the Hollow Waste Dolmen when I leveled. Took me much less time from VR2 to VR3.

Morigana Posted a Battle Recap: Poohka: The Grinning General
Today was Defense, defense, defense... then supply camps.... then more defense but it is following Poohka that makes it all worth while. I really can't see his face but I imagine that he is grinning with every breath he takes and every command he gives. There is no one I would rather follow into battle and this is not to slight our other commanders as I would follow lots of them into battle with just as much confidence - but he has a way to make me smile even when I die. He reminds me so much of what so many Vikings have said as they charge into battle (at least in the movies they do)...
