Prissy's Quest for Map Completion - a Family Event- Saturday and Wednesday - Queensdale

Hi Everyone,

I am going to consolidate the post on this event so I only have to post in one location and I will up date it weekly with the zone we are heading to. 

11/24 and 11/28 Caledon Forest -1-15 zone

This took saturday's group 4 hours to complete. We learned the brand new level 2 will have a hard time in the upper zone since you will not be of level. If you are bringing a new toon be prepared. I am going to get my newbie to level 5 and see if that works. Bring your patience, sense of humor, and love of a challenge to this event.

Here is a tentative schedule of the 1-15 zones

12/1 and 12/5 Queensdale -1-15 zone (Human)

12/8 and 12/12 Metrica Province 1-15 zone (Asuria)

12/15 and 12/19 Wayfarer Foothills 1-15 zone (Norn)

12/22 and 12/26 Plains of Ashford 1-15 zone (Charr)

Thanks again Prissy for doing this. I'm not sure how you did it, but the two weekends I can't make are for the Human and the Norns - which I know really well - which makes me happy since Asuria and Charr I can now learn with you!!! In case I forget to say it - or haven't said it enough... This is a great idea - and is marvelous fun!

I'm curious, did you have a large turnout (more than 15) and was there any problems with people saying they were unable to get kill credit to complete their hearts? On the other large group events that I join, I can't complete hearts due to a lack of credit on a lot of the kills (even if grouped), so I'm wondering where I might run into problems if I host a "Hearts Run" for alt leveling.

I think we had about 15 or so people and some of the hearts were a little slow to complete due to the number of mobs at the location. What we did was as a group completed a heart they moved to the next way point or did an event if on spawned or moved to the next heart. We grouped up for vista and skill challenges. I think I heard more of where are you and which direction did you go then I did not get kills. Each group leader kept track of their groups progress and we stayed close to each other on the map. I will watch tomorrow and see if we have the same results. Prissy

Ok, that's good to hear, thank you very much. I'd forgotten all about the "large group nerf" for PvE zones until I moved to SoR and started doing events with GSCH. We didn't have large group events on IoJ, like here on SoR. Now I'm worried and apprehensive about running an event, because I know that I get a little frustrated during large GSCH events, with missing on loot, XP and event credit, so I want to make sure that, when I decide to run some PvE events, everyone gets loot and credit. I'm probably just overthinking it, thinking about what I just typed. heh

This weeks map completion is Queensdale 1-15 zone. The event will be 5pm to 9 pm server time. I will start forming up about 15 minutes before the event begins. Everyone is welcome to come and play. This will be the zone for Saturday and Monday. Please remember this is a map completion event, we will do world events as they happen so long as we keep moving forward. Prissy

Yesterday was my first run, it was amazing, Prissy is made of patience, love and cupcakes :3
