Hey everyone!

I wanted to take a moment to get some new quotes from the community about the Gaiscioch family and Tuatha. I will pick from your quotes and blend them with the pre-existing quotes for the updated video set to release on November 9th. Please take a moment to write as little or as much as you like. I can select a sentence out of a wall o text if need be. Your opinions matter and I would love to hear what you think.

Here are some questions to get the idea's flowing:

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

What do you think of the Gaiscioch Marketplace?

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

Gaischioch means a place to come and feel welcomed. It is a place that anyone and everyone can belong. In my gaming history I have never come across a guild or a group as well organized and close knit as this.

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

My favorite memory would be the tribute to oldroar. While I never knew him, it was a great show of character for the family. It's so nice to see that so many cared so much for a long time member. Those who knew him well gave great testimonies of who he was, and by the end of the night I felt like I had been there.

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

Since joining the family, I have learned that not every guild has to be about a short term goal like raids or a single event. I learned that there are some are focused more on building a community of members. Not only building a community of members, but also a community out of the players that exist on the server. Gaischioch has redefined guilds to me, and I am grateful.

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

The events we run are a great amount of fun, with great rewards for those who like treats! From rift to GW2, we have held events both big and small that incorporate the entire server in what we as a family are about.

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

The most well designed guild website I've seen, with features that allow for easy tracking of progress within the guild as well as helpful guides to answer any questions.

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

YES! Do it! If you join Gaischioch and start doing some events, you will truly feel at home.

I truly believe that in all my years of gaming, joining Gaischioch has been the best decision I've made.

Thank you Ben, and all of the elders for your continual work.

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

My comment could fit both of these, back in rift i would see people doing rifts in the sands. They would always welcome to a stranger, they were organised and they had fun.

Gaiscioch made me realise guilds can work

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

Extended family and someplace to go to spend time with some really cool people in the comfort of a lazyboy

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

So many. But a few were back when I started to lead raids in Rift and getting the help, support and patience of the family while doing it.

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

I always tried to be in guilds that were filled with good people and this guild is no exception. Actions in Warhammer and work done for the Phoenix Throne/Badlands Community helped turn this one time enemy into a family member

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

A strong Community makes for a good community. I like the fact that Gaiscioch invests in the community to make it better and not fall into the we against the community mentality alot of larger guilds tend to go towards.

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

It can be slow for me but mainly cause there is so much information on it! Fog did a really good job

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

Be yourself, Be respectful of others in your family and community and always enjoy yourself

Started playing GW2 during closed Beta. Started my own guild, hoping it would go as planned. It didn't. We, my wife and me, joined a guild from

a family member and had fun, but i never had the feeling i "belonged" to the guild or was considered a valuable member. Then i came across Obsidian Sky,

he told me a bit about Gaischioch and there ways. I decided to look into it.

Here i am 9 months later still a proud member of the guild. I FEEL AT HOME. There is never any hard feelings if you don't get things the first time, the members

are patient and willing to teach the ones that don't know as much as them. To say it in short:

GAISCIOCH gave me what no other guild ever gave to me: a home, a family, the feeling i "belonged".

If you are looking for a family and not just a guild...

If you want a place to call home where you can "game your way"...

If you enjoy dungeons, open world PvE, PvP, organized events - some of it or all of it...

If you wish to game hardcore or casual...

If you long for a guild where the only time you draw your weapon is on the field of battle and never against family or friends...

If your values are Honor, Pride, Respect...

Then We Are Gaiscioch and you are lost no longer.

That is all I have to say for now.

Gaiscioch is now my standard for what a guild should be.

I sadly have had to move away from gaming for awhile as I work on a large comic project I just haven't had anytime to play any games. I know that Gaiscioch means a lot to me because it is one of my main reasons to return to my RIFT characters.  I was lucky enough to join into the family right after I first got into RIFT and had far too many enjoyable experiences to count.

I had joined multiple guilds in multiple games before and never once felt the level of camaraderie and family that I felt as soon as I joined this guild.

As soon as I am able I will be back in game and back with the family adventuring and enjoying my online hours more than most players would believe possible.

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

Gaiscioch is everything i ever wanted in a guild. i know i am not on the forums or site as much as i should be, but i do read the news letters. I gave up GW2 a while ago, just because i dont have time for a lot of games at once, but i am SO glad i found the family before i left! the group we have in FFXIV is awesome and i wouldnt trade them for any other FC!

I wish everyone could be in a guild (family) as welcoming and loving as Gaiscioch! I might be the quiet/lurking member of the family, but i am home, and i love it =) I look forward to adventuring with the family in future games!

Gaiscioch is the best gaming community I've ever joined, hands down.  It's amazing how much work goes into something like this, and you guys don't ask anything in return other than essentially not being rude in chat and trying to follow the group leader's directions when you choose to attend an event.  The website is great, and there's a bunch of events every day led by guildies that you can pick and choose from.  All in all, my only regret is that I didn't find Gaiscioch years ago!

Gaiscioch is the bridge between in-game and real-life.  Whether a struggle or an achievement is in or out of game, the Gaiscioch community has been there to support each other.

What this guild means to me?  I am a very casual player.  I play just to see what I can do.  So I guess that I would be considered a very casual player.  The organized events are a great way for the community to get together and have some fun.  It's also a great way to explore the world with some friends.  If ever I have a question about anything there's usually someone around with some help or advice.  I don't think I could be in any other guild but this one.  Everyone is helpful and friendly.

That's what I think this guild means to me.

I'm a pretty new member, about 3 weeks old.  The guild has been amazing.  They definitely make you feel a part of a family.  There is such a diverse culture that if you want to do something you can always find someone to come with you.

The rank structure helps give defined roles so that if you have a question you know the people to ask.

I'm a huge fan of the public community events.  Getting the whole server into temporary guild to run guild missions is a genius idea.

So far my favorite moments have been grouping with fellow family members to run fractals.  It's hard to define a single moment because they have all been pleasant experiences.

To new members that would like to join I would have to say to not be afraid to speak up.  If you need help, ask....want to join in on a dungeon or event let the leader know.  Don't be afraid to do the things you want in the guild.  We are a diverse community with varied skill sets.

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

For starters I want to state that tomorrow will be my 4th anniversary with Gaiscioch.

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

Even if it still has some drama it isn't the drama I saw in other guilds.  After all, where there are humans there is bound to be some drama.  However, this place has been like a family online for me ever since I first brought my Warhammer guild into the Tuatha.  Even if my gaming style, times on, etc. have changed over these four years, I always felt like I could play with this guild.  Even if I got tired of a game and moved to another, I've done it with people from Gaiscioch.

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

These are a great way to add flavor to a game and give the community a way to get together.  There are not many guilds that bother doing this and it has even caused some flack because some people just don't get it.  However, the game developers and producers have noticed this over the years and like it.

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

It's an encyclopedia. You will not get it all at once, but you are bound to find the answer even if you have to pose it on the forums.  People are willing to share and help expand the info here that helps us enjoy the games we are in all the more.  I will have to say it is so full of stuff the only draw back on my end is it loads slow some days.  Something I can live with.

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

That you can play the way you want to and so can everyone else.  No one should get upset with others based on play style and if they don't always agree with your ideas.  Thankfully this rarely causes issues because most people get it.  So that sums up to - enjoy the game and have fun with others who enjoy it too.

Don't mess with Mama Bear, I might hug you too tight. =D

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

The guild to me means Family. I have been here for  very short time and in game and through RC people have always felt easy to reach just like a family should in good and bad times.

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

If i have a lot of  great memories but if i had to choose it would come down to  1 specific moment and  another more like a thing. I remember  doing Guild missions for the SoR community event the Great Tyrian Adventure. I remember some people getting late to the event and  the group was already at the last room of the puzzle after having helped 3 different groups. With barely like 8 minutes left a group of elders and members including myself went back all the way to the start and  in like stunning 6 minutes we ran everyone who had been late. No other Guild woul go to that trouble just to get people a chance at rewards.  The other would be the long conversations about pointless stuff over raidcall. Whether  it be on calm days on WvW or just  on  small PvE events having people speak freely about movies, songs everyday life or in game topics is a characteristic of this guild that made me feel like  I was among friends. ( Lets not forget the puns or running off the cliff jokes)

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

I had been a member of guilds before. To me they where just a conglomerate of people who i could easily reach to do missions and that was it. After joining GSCH i see a guild doesn't have to aim  to just be the best at the game, but the most enjoyable experience. A guild can be friends, ca mean help and companionship. Before i thought u needed to join a top tier guild to surround yourself with players of your own game-play level. Now, im not here for the score, im here for the enjoyment, for the fun of having both  experts and new people around me at arms reach, to learn  from the  Elders and to enjoy doing  silly stuff  with the newcomers to the game.  To put it in short words  Guilds used to be about the score, now they are about the people and the comunity.

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

I think these are just Great. It keeps the comunity involved, the game interesting and  it helps to shorten the  breach between newcomers and  veterans in the game because they have always been centered around teamplay and  a No man left behind policy.

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

I admit at first it was intimidating. But just a quick second look and its rather easy to understand and use.  The marketplace is another great way to  create a sense of companionship between members.

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

My advice would be. Dont be shy, dont be afraid to speak, dont be afraid to ask, dont  be afraid to get involved and most importantly dont forget to have fun.

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

Gaiscioch is my online family. It's more than just a group of friends. It is a strong community of gamers that care for one another both in the games we play and in our normal every day lives. It's the home that I was always searching for and finally have found. This family has filled my loot bags full of amazing memories and cherished friendships I will hold dear to my heart forever. It has also been a place of learning for myself. I have been able to learn how to lead more effectively. How to be a better gamer as well as tester. It has given me a larger view of gaming than my previous guilds have before.  I have learned to reach out and help my community through charity and that gamers can make a difference in the lives of other people.

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

I have many amazing memories of Gaiscioch. One of my favorite though is the first open world PvE event I ever lead in Guild wars 2. It was an escort event to get everyone their quaggan tonics so we were all ready for the club gaischioch that night. We got through the event  and went to purchase the tonics and everyone used them and started running around everywhere. Raid call was full of people giggling and having a blast.

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

I have been in many positions in guilds, from recruit all the way up to guild master. When I came to Gaiscioch I was at a place in my life where I was in the mind set that maybe guilds just were not my thing. I saw so many people okay in guilds and I always felt like I was the odd one out. I also had seen so much fighting and arguing over loot that I was sick of seeing guilds split up over loot and petty things. I swore this would be the last guild I ever attempted to join. I was right. We have the occasional problems, personalities clash sometimes and no one is perfect. Just like in a real family though, it's about forgiveness and learning to get along with each other despite our differences. I think that's what makes us so different.

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

I love the events. I love seeing what each leader is going to come up with and the imagination that goes into each event. The more we can include people in events, the stronger gamers will be as a community and will be willing to help each other. I also very much love being a leader at community events. I love hearing the excitement  and I still get nervous but I know that people have so much fun.

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

The website is a masterpiece of web design. The front page is streamlined and easy to understand. If there is an announcement we need to read it's guaranteed to be at the top highlighted in red haha!

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

Be yourself. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Be family friendly at all times. Always remember blades out.

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

To describe what Gaiscioch means to me I need to share a little history from my perspective. Having been a member since 2006, at that Gaiscioch was a way for Foghladha, Yulishka ( his wife) and I to group up and play some other games together. He had no plans to make it what is was in Dark Age of Camelot. During that time we played Guild Wars 1, Solder Front, Archlord and even World of Warcraft. Fog had not intention of running a full size guild until Warhammer Online. He reconnected with some old friends from Dark Age and he decided to give it go with a new focus. "Play when you want, how you want, for as long as you want." With this focus we evolved into a great community and I am proud to be apart of it. In the end Gaiscioch means family and community to me.

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

Oh so many to choose from here. I recall 2 memories that stick out the most. The very first time Fog pulled the needle in the haystack in Warhammer Online. Everyone would stand around waiting the Objective to switch over and he would tell people about the achievement title by finding the needle in the haystack. You see everyone run to the haystack and try to "find" the needle. The achievement title was The Gullible. What made that even more epic was the next time we cam e to that object was a someone falling for it again.

The second was also in Warhammer Online, the very first time we tried a new defense strategy called Pandora's Box. We line the tanks up on both sides of the door and the DPS around the back of the room. When it opens we let some Destro in then "close the door" blocking reinforcements and healing resulting in the first push usually tanks getting wiped in 30 seconds or less. If the oil is up the DPS and Healers are trapped out side and get melted buy the oil. Then we open the door and let them rush in again. Usually one more rush in the we wipe them. 90% of the time after that they would stand out side scratching their head on what to do. To this day I never saw it fail.

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds

? I have never been apart of another guild in MMOs so I really don't know but I can tell I like the relaxed casual nature of our family. I hear about others experiences in other guilds and I find myself saying I am glad I am Gaiscioch. So you can say Gaiscioch has spoiled me. Not a bad thing :)

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

I have always enjoyed our public community events. I think they are great to remind everyone this is a game, have some fun.

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

Incredible website. Watching evolve we restarted in Warhammer Online to where it is now was a fascinating journey.

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

Come in the fires are warm and ale is cold. Put your feet up and check out our family. Never be afraid to ask any questions you might have, we'll be glad to answer them.

Although I have not been able to play GW2 for the past six months, when I was able to play I really enjoyed being part of this guild, group of folks.  I am not a "regular" that anyone would "know", I'm just one of those peeps who shows up for events and kind of fits in the background, but still, I always felt welcomed and never left behind.  I really enjoyed the fact that when I had some free time I could get online and usually find an event to join.  I hope that has not changed when I come back soon.  Thank you all of you who organize this guild and make it possible for causual players to find a home!

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

Gaiscioch is a family, a place where I can share fun times and good memories with others who like to do what I enjoy doing.

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

I love running in WvW, being able to have a fun and care-free attitude, where we don't care about the score, we only care that we have fun. It doesn't matter. I remember time and time again of dying, and laughing the whole time, cause it's just so much fun.

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

I've seen that it doesn't have to be just like another business. I've learned that in order to be involved, I don't have to claw my way up the ranks and spend obscene amounts of time on a game. I can play when I want, how I want, and I know I'll have people there who are just happy to be there.

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

I really enjoy the events. They're a blast, and they make doing a lot of things easy, like map completion, which I wouldn't want to do otherwise.

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

It's fantastic! I can't even fathom the amount of time Fog has put into this site, but I know if I ever wanted to make my own guild, I'd want a site like this.

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

Join up and get going! Whatever you like to do, there is something for you here! We'd love to have you!

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

It means family. But not the corny meaning of it, but the true and deep meaning of that word. People who understands you, who are willing to stand by your side, take your hand and help you. And inspire you to do the same thing for others, be them in the family or not.

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

The wvw mornings with Kaytlin! :3

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

It didn't. I don't expect to find another guild like this in another game, nor expect them to be like this one.

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

They are awesome. This is really keeping the game alive, full with things to do, people to meet, friends to make, mobs to kill. FUN!

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

A bit scary for the new players, kind of hard to navigate. Like it took me a week to find where to claim my participation in the events. But once you get the hang of it, it gets easier.

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

This will sound cheesy, but don't ask what Gascioch can do for you, but ask what you can do for them. What I mean is that if nobody is available to do a dungeon run that you want or need, don't dispair, don't take it personal. Sometimes people are busy running some other events or are not in the mood to do that. Instead try to help others get into dungeons, fractals, skill points, etc. People will notice that you are helpful and will be more willing to give you a hand in the future.

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

A guild that lets you be you. always a great time and never a dull moment. And great leadership

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

Raiding for the first time, in GW1 you have teams from 4 to 12 people but raiding with 50 to 150 well it doesn't get better than that. joining GSCH was the best move I have made. Thank you GSCH for allowing me into your family it's an honor.

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

Well with the membership so large it is able to do all the upgrades a guild can provide. But mainly the way GSCH is run is just outstanding I love it

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

I think it's great GSCH helps all guilds in SoR great job

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

The website rocks. Fog your awesome

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

I would say to them: Do you want to join a guild that makes you feel like family, able to do dungeons, fractals, map clear areas, events and so on. But I would also tell them you only get what you put in. I try and be as helpful as I can and learn from those who lead don't worry the family won't let you down they got your back....

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

Family. Even though I've only been with you guys for about 9 months I've never once felt like I've never not been welcome.

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

I would say one of my fav moments was when Fog was chasing after a couple BG and ran them off a cliff only to have the other 30 of us charge over the cliff with him because not two seconds earlier he said 'follow me' XD

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

Well, I'm sure I'm not the only one who when they first joined thinking this was nothing but a giant guild of like minded individuals. Over the past 9 months I've come to see it as more than just a guild. More than just a group of people that hang out and do various things. I'm not entirely sure when it happened but I've come to see the Gaiscoich as my online family.

You guys don't kick people if real life comes knocking, you don't force specific builds on people, instead you choose to be an open community that supports all it's members no matter how new they are to the fold. I've never seen a guild run the events you do or include the entire server simply because you can. I feel Gaiscioch isn't simply just a stopping point that people just join and quit 2 weeks later, it's a home where members can always feel welcome.

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

I think they are absolutely fantastic! I have never had the privilege of being part of a community where literally everyone is included no matter what colors, tags,  or guilds they run with. If I'm not mistaken it was one Club event that drew me in and introduced me to the family.

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

The website has to be the most functional and user friendly guild site I have ever used. the layout is clean, simple and easy to navigate and there are no words to describe how wicked having the marketplace is.

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

Do it! Join some events, learn about what we do and who we are and if you think you would be a good fit then by all means take that first step and join up. You won't regret it!

Well I wanted to make this new trailer shorter than the previous one however.... there's just so much good content and last time it was just DAOC and Warhammer Online, This time it's all of our chapters. With around 2 minutes per game thats 8 minutes just the 4 chapters by itself. The overview i've managed to get into about a minute and I'm working on a section just for community events which is another 2 minutes in length. I really want to include our charity events as well but I gots no space for them lol. All in all the video is going to top out at 12 minutes. Which believe me may seem long but theres a TON of content to squeeze into that little space. Thank you all who are contributing to this post. I hope it can continue to grow. If I can't fit it all into this one I'll also be using them in additional videos in the future.

I know you can do it Fog.  But I know what you are facing.  If a church of now 300 members doing a 20 year reunion memories video took 50 times as much videoed interview as wound up in the video for the anniversary, I'm sure you are having tons of fun with this huge family.  ;)

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

Family - whatever your play style there is always someone that will have your back in the game. I was given an opportunity to join in Rift and through the seasons (some being more play time then others), it has been a great time to meet new friends, level, talk, or just adventure. I have met so many people across the world and would not have experienced that another way.

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

Rift - Crifting (Craft Rifting) - When I had more time I really enjoyed these times though I did not do the Marathon 12 hour settings would run shorter 3 hour ones when time permitted and tried to get everyone involved on both sides. Would have raffles and gave out bags that were new to the family that just started and other crafting items. I really enjoyed the fellowship amongst friends while we were out there.

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

I have only been in 2 other small guilds, they were friends that we gathered up from time to time but most have since gone. Gaiscioch  is Family to me, if you should leave the game for whatever reason, and return or not return you are always welcomed with open arms.

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

Have not been able to do a Community event in a long while, but when I was able to they were amazing (especially when we didn't crash the server in Rift lol) Its awesome when hundreds of people across the world from all walks of life gather at one time to spend time with friends.

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

I will admit at first it was a bit intimidating to go to the website, I have never been to a guild site that had so much information on it. After many questions, with elders and officers the website became easier to navigate.

What do you think of the Gaiscioch Marketplace?

The marketplace is a great way to gather gear if you are not able to or do not like to craft. There are always people out there looking to craft, though much of the gear is level 80 lower level gear is often not put up on the marketplace (due to everyone's crazy leveling). I think more would get involved if lower items where put on the website as well as the higher items.

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

Ask a lot of questions lol - Gaiscioch is not just a name it is a family.

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

Gaiscioch is family.  After four years with the Gaiscioch (starting toward the tail end of Warhammer Online chapter 2), attending our social gatherings, raids, world events or just relaxing together, it feels like home.  Lately it seems we are growing larger than just a family, you could almost call us a community village

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member?

My fondest memories are of the times when I was able to attend our big events, Battle for Badlands, Telara Saga and the Tyrian adventures.

  • Seeing Pandora's Box in action for the first time in Warhammer
  • Raiding the Defiant capital in Rift (which resulted in us crashing a whole server cluster, not just our server)
  • Fighting to the very last man on a tiny outcrop of rock in Dreaming Bay Keep during one of our first WvW events in Guild Wars 2
  • My old 10 man Raid group from Rift, every Sunday evening taking on bosses with the same crew
  • Staying up late and chatting with Jexia while on guard duty in Sanctum of Rall Borderlands

There are just so many memories to list.

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds?

Well I no longer consider Gaiscioch a guild, we are much more than that.  I also think we are more close-knit than other large gaming communities in that we truly do put others before ourselves.

What do you think about our Public Community Events?

I love them.  They are the foundations of what we are as a family, Gaiscioch is and always has been about building better communities.  We are inclusive, we are always welcoming to others and our public community events are a direct reflection of this.

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com?

Even I will admit it was intimidating at first, but it truly is an amazing website.

What do you think of the Gaiscioch Marketplace?

The Gaiscioch Marketplace is one of the major features of Gaiscioch.com, it's also one of the best features.

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be?

Get amongst it! Get involved, come to our events and have fun, join us as we march into battle and share a drink and a laugh as we dust ourselves off and get back into it.

What does Gaiscioch mean to you?

It's not a thing, it's an experience. Years ago I started playing Warhammer online to quite frankly have some quiet gaming time. I'd been responsible for a raiding guild in WOW for several years that had evolved from a small group of friends into an alliance of guilds and finally into a large raiding guild. Over the course of those years I watched most of my original friends disappear as the group demanded more time, organization and culling. I'd reached a point where no one was satisfied and the people I had really enjoyed spending time with we're gone. I was trying to just have fun again and take a little T1 objective by myself when I realized I'd have to park Twilah on the beach and wait for someone to show up and help.

Next thing I knew a huge Zerg swept across the beach and I started running to keep up. I been running ever since to keep up, almost 5 years now. It's not a guild (noun) to me, it's Gaiscioch (verb). Its movement, excitement and adventure.

What is your favorite memory of being a Gaiscioch or Tuatha Member? See above

How has Gaiscioch changed the way you view guilds? See above

What do you think about our Public Community Events? I've been honored to help lead in some large campaigns and look forward to many more.

What do you think of Gaiscioch.com? Best website ever. Except the panels at the bottom. Is Rift chapter 2 and Warhammer chapter 3, really? That's been setting off my OCD for a while now so I gotta know. I think it's backwards.

What do you think of the Gaiscioch Marketplace? I love it.

If you can offer a word of advice to someone looking to join what would it be? Leave your traditional expectations at the door. This is a guild with one rule really, blades out not in. Be kind, be honest and treat people with respect. That's all. As an Elder I can assure you we make no other demands and work hard to organize the best gaming experiences that can only be achieved with large groups if you chose to participate.

The patience of family waiting for the youngest to catch up.

A hand reaching down to help me up to the top of the cliff.

Great discussion late at night when no one else is awake.

A goofy joke at just the right moment to settle me down when I miff

A sneaky tactic to kill that spider I've never been able to take

Boons laid down freely to be shared with each of us in turn

Build advice to help my toon when all she does is burn

Protective walls at the height of the fight giving me a chance

Quiet talk between the fights to lighten up the night

Acceptance in spite of differences have all washed over me

Every time I run with a group it's family time you see

Gaiscioch has proven to be a jewel lying in the rough

And when our back is too the wall, you'll find we're kinda tough

Thanks to every one of you for every resurrection too

I couldn't have made it without you

I hope you feel you can count on me too

Cause Gaiscioch's a family for sure and true.

Being in other guilds with World of Warcraft and Warhammer Online, i always felt this urgency to have to play, to have to improve, to have to be at every event or else i'd risk falling out of favor. Other guilds always made me feel like i was being used for something or to help someone get what they wanted. There was never that family bond or close knit feeling that a lot are looking for in a gaming community. Most often these guilds fell apart, everyone heading their own direction, which was not a positive gaming experience for me.  My husband, his sister, and I came across Gaiscioch during Warhammer Online which is why he suggested we look into it for a GW2 guild.  We all 3 joined in august of 2012 at launch after i messaged Ben on Facebook and he openly welcomed us. I am proud to wear the GSCH tag over my head. We always stop to pick up a man down. We will travel across zones to  help someone in need. If you need help with anything at all from materials to questions answered to a dungeon run, there is always someone there willing to jump in. I don't have to log in and worry that my busy week has taken me away and everything is changed or I feel like i haven't pitched in-I know things are the same and that i am always welcomed back. It is an amazing group of selfless people that really enjoy playing together and i'm glad to be apart of it. Our group that are very proud GSCH are Skarn, Ryene, and Me:)
