MEETING: Archeage & Gaiscioch (Read if Interested in Archeage)

WHAT?: Meeting to assemble a council of interest and preplan our involvment in Archeage

WHEN?: 1/27/2012 - 9:30PM EST (Tonight)

WHERE?: The Archeage Room under "Extended Family Games"

In this meeting we will be discussing Archeage, what it is, an overview of what to expect and to field interest from the family. Over the next coming months we will be forming a council of people for positions inside of the family for Archeage.

People such as:

• PvP'ers
• PvE'ers
• Crafters
• Explorer's
• Theory Crafters
• RP'ers
• Feedback providers

All of this is to assemble a team of people, so that when testing arrives, we will be fully prepared and ready to deploy. We will need to form a network of intelligence and know how inside the game, and personally I'd like to formulate a network of excitement and information about every aspect of the game.

For those simply interested in knowing more, there will be a Q&A session in the meeting as well. I have been following Archeage for nearly 4 years now. And have a large amount of knowledge and will be willing to share it with you.

I'll be there, definitely interested in checking out ArcheAge. My interests right now probably fall under PvE and Exploration.

I'll try my best to be there, but life's a bit hectic at the moment so no guarantees (I should finish my work half an hour before the meeting if my time-zone calculations are correct). If I don't make it, I'll expect a full report at a later date ;)

Connor has posted massively about the game under the Saighdear section of the forums, let us know if, for some reason, you cannot see these posts. Archeage-online and Archeage Source are great sources of info as well as youtube, although most of the youtube vids at this stage are in Korean or Russian. I am sure English versions will become available now we have a NA developer.

I really wanted to be there for this discussion but wont be able to make it at this stage until repair crews get our internet back to the region.

Sorry I missed this, unfortunately I was in bed with a massive migraine last night. Is there a site to check general info (in english) about this game? Does anyone know an approx release date or price? Those were some of the things I was wondering. I understand it is early out in the process so, we might not know these answers yet. It looked interesting.

Connor has very good info about the game here Connor's Archeage Thread Release date is suppose to be sometime this year but nothing official yet. As far as price I haven't heard anything but would expect it to be priced as other games, around $50. Thanks for the meeting last night Connor. I had to cut out a tad early (around 10ish CST). Des and Jar(me) will continue to watch, attend meetings, learn, hopefully test, and ultimately play the game with you all.

I will also be there....the info you've been putting out thus far is interesting to say the least. And I like your passion and enthusiasm...

Archeage-online.com is the site we are taking most of the info from as Connor's friend owns it and we know it is reliable. It is also tailored to a wesrtern audience and is in English (major plus!).

Official site will be here: www.archeagegame.com Now that Trion has taken on the project, I actually have a lot of hope for this game. I know everyone just raves about the Korean version, but I can't get into a game that I can't read or understand any of the text I see.

I'd be happy to help out in any with testing the game. The open world appeals to me a lot with regards to exploration so I can't wait to check out the world of ArcheAge.

Is the meeting at the same time on the same day Connor? That would make it Sunday at 9.30 est. Perhaps we could post times in pst as that is what the guild event calendar is in (and it confuses the antipodeans like me!). Please confirm :) (Remember, we have elder meetings on Saturday so I figured Sunday might be ok with you)

Gosh darn it, I missed the meeting. I would like to express my interest in AA, PvE, exploring, crafting, and definate feedback giver. Spent 4 years doing QA testing for EA and Sony, as well as beta testing Rift, TSW, Tera, Defiance, GW2, Sim City, Firefall, Transformers Online, and more!

I'd love to participate, I was'nt able to make it to the meeting, but PVE and exploring are what I'm interested in for the most part. pvp once in a while

Finally took the time to check this out. I find it quite interesting, maybe even more so than ESO from what I've seen. I know if you put meetings on Sunday evenings I wont make it. I'm in a pathfinder campaign from at least 4pm pst to 7pm pst, sometimes a little longer, and then I go to bed since I'm est. I'll keep an eye on this to see what is going on. =)

Any definite day / time for this week's meeting yet?

@Belonia Connor had mentioned at last Sundays meeting that he would have another one this weekend, not sure is it will be the same day and time though.

Darn, I missed the meeting but I am intersted in the game. If there is to be a meeting this weekend, I sure hope I can make it. I've seen a bunch of videos.

I got a piece of the meeting and really peaked my intrest. The sandbox feature in a PvP enviroment is very intriguing. I think sandbox MMOs will be the next huge thing when they get it balanced. The graphics look amazing. The game play deep. Crafting unlimited in the Sandbox features. I am still very much enjoying GW2 at the moment, but am unafraid to go onto something better.
