Checking Interest in a Sunday AVA event

I was considering leading a weekly AVA event every Sunday, given it's the only day of the week we do not have a recurring event on the calendar for Cyrodiil.  I was wondering how much interest there would be in this and what would be peoples preferred time of day if I were to do this?  I can do anywhere from 8AM PST to 8PM PST.

Lemme know what you all think!

Sunday 2pm or later PST would be a nice time.  Stinks working weekends and long days during the week, but Sunday is at least only a half day (meaning usually 5-6 hours).

Sunday afternoons are challenging for me, but I suspect it's a good time for a lot of folks.

I would say yes - but football season starts soon and that is normally the start of family days with my son and grandson who are fanatics - well, so am I and my daughter is close.  So Sundays are a bit tough from mid August until after the Superbowl!

What I would say though - is probably just post the event and see what type of turn out you get, I know Prissy use to run a GW2 event on Sunday evenings around 6 pm PST and had fairly good turn outs.

I've really been wanting to catch a regularly scheduled Guild AvA event - to no avail due to summer-time induced work/family schedule fluctuations. Sunday/Monday/Tuesday evenings (7pm PST or later) have been consistently free. If a later afternoon/evening Sunday event existed, I would try my best to attend.

I'm just trying to make it through August, lol...in September, my work schedule reverts to "relatively normal," so I'll have a bit more regularity.

(Yes...the word "regularity" makes me think of bran muffins and FiberOne bars too...it's ok) :)

Just schedule it, you only need 4+ GSCH to claim the event.

ill definitely schedule it i mostly wanted an idea of what time i should :) im free all of sunday but it seems like 3pm-5pm would be the best window, even during football season that ends the event before sunday night football and only cuts into the 1pm games a little bit :D sorry Dunseverik but 7pm seems a bit late for most and I myself like to wind down before going to bed to start the work week but I hope you can join us once ur schedule returns to bran muffins, thanks all!

If that's PDT, then it would be a somewhat safe time frame, but I'd say that 6pm might be your best bet to start with, then adjust as needed.  Prissy ran 6pm *PVE* event for GW2 and it attracted quite a few on a regular basis, there are even some asking if she'd do it again.

With TESO, events are going to be a crap shoot for a few months, anyway, at least until they get some stability fixes and other things done and entice players to return for another try (they really don't seem to have much of a marketing drive for that atm).  So yea, I'd just schedule the event, pick a time slot that I felt was best for it and adjust as I needed.

I support your plan.  For me, I don't have a consistent schedule on the weekends, so it is harder to commit.

I don't think I'll be able to do a recurring Sunday event so for now I'll just add them week by week, though I'll try to do it every week.

I empathize, completely.  I've never scheduled events for 3 reasons: 1.  The only regular times I game is late night and I can't use voice comms with a sleeping family.  Well, not if I want peace in the house.  2.  During the day, I log in very randomly and it changes from day to day based on various factors.  3.  Daily bouts with severe social anxiety tends to get in the way of seriously trying to schedule anything.  I tell myself that I'll just play it by ear and schedule on the fly, but I never do.  heh  I suck.
