Modestus Posted a Battle Recap: Pick-up Party
Gathered at the Highwayman Hills in Winstead try and handle a quest; there were a ton of people there which made controlling pulls difficult. We bailed to explore Sunhaven to the south only to find the level cap there was still too high for our group (avg lvl 11 whereas the mobs in Sunhaven are 16+ with multiple stars). We ended up finishing the night killing undead in a valley on the border of Miraleth and Sunhaven. The mobs were perfect for our group and the lower player pop allowed us to practice pulling and some party mechanics.

GmaFog Posted a Battle Recap: Finished Caledon and started Brisban Wildlands
We entered at Mrot Boru Waypoint, Got the heart north west and the Invariant Base POI. Then we went southeast to do the Venlin Vale Heart, Aethervolt Lav POI and Vista. We will do the Skrittsburgh tunnels NEXT WEEK. Did not do them today. We took the outer east perimeter instead. Did Zinder Slope heart and Watchful Source Waypoint, and vista north. Did the Nemeton Grove heart, Grateful Merchant POI, and Beldame's Rise POI. We did the Wendon Steps Heart, Seraph Protectors POI and stopped at the Wendon Waypoint - We will meet back at Mrot Boru Waypoint for next week.

What a fun evening! We explored lots of hidden treasures and puzzles around the core starting areas for each race. Much hilarity failing several jumping puzzles. Our friendly Mesmer was on hand to portal up anyone who was just plain frustrated! Recommended for all levels but especially beginners. Game expansions not required. Looking forward to doing this again.

There's a Dungeon Rush going on right now, so it was a perfect time to form a quick group and jump into Twilight Arbor to obtain a 'Jungle Wurm Egg'. I'm on the last collection for Ad Infinitum, and that item is needed to make a Jungle Wurm Omelet (Mossman Style). Next step - doing a Swampland Fractal, and hoping I remember to bring the Egg with me so I can enter the Mossman'S Hut and finish this Collection step.

The areas we did today was: The Stronghold of Ebonhawke: 3 waypoints, 4 POIs (including Postern Gate), 2 hearts, 2 Hero points. Blackwing Excavation - One POI and One heart. We went east from there and did the waypoint, POI and heart at Hautclaire Vale One POI in Wildlin Narrows Mithric Cliffs - One Vista Finished off with The Ogre Road and Hunter's Grove - Hero point, Ogre Road Waypoint, heart - POI (Foulbear Kraal) and vista to the west. We will start back at Hawkgates Waypoint and go out the north gate next week...
