Lets take a moment to remind folk of some pretty massive changes coming down the Pipeline.

1. You will no longer gain renown & experience ticks for tiers you are no longer part of. So if your 29 you wont get zone locks in T4 anymore.

2. You will no longer gain rewards unless you are inside the PVP lake. Sorry guys no mailbox guarding anymore.

3. High Pass and Troll Country now have PvE Mobs in the RvR Lakes which yield some pretty awesome exp.

4. You can no longer port people to LoTD, and only Level 32+ may enter LoTD. Get your farming out of your system now.

5. /assist is going out the window. It will only function within your group now from what I can tell.

6. 50% of the Mod's you have installed will not work after the patch. For those using any of my Mods, I have made Patched versions that will be made available as soon as it goes live. These patched versions DO NOT work on 1.3.5 but they do work on 1.3.6. They took out a function to SEND_CHAT_TEXT and added a function called SendChatText(). Why? I have no freakin clue but it broke a ton of mods. PURE, SOR, WarCommander, all 5 of my mods all hosed.

6. New Sov Gear. It's pretty freakin sweet and by having just 1 of us wearing it will help make our entire wb stronger.

7. You can now right click on a name and select "Join Group". All trinity mod commands will have this ability to right click and join on any of the colored text.

Those are some of the major things coming down the pipeline that will change the way we play warhammer. Stay tuned for more as I find them. As always the patch notes list everything.

I'm looking forward to it overall. Some of the changes I am not too thrilled about, but I think it's a solid patch.

It should bring a lot more life to the lower tiers and keep T4 full of T4's and not a bunch of Bored T3's.

And bring an end to bomb groups with the CQ changes. It'll be interesting how that will shake things up. Personally never been a big fan of CQ so won't bother me too much.

1.3.7 is cool. Their focusing on oRvR again and making some much needed improvements. It's the second half of the 1.3.6 oRvR rebuild/rethinking :). Can't say much because A: NDA, and B: nothing solid.

Oh I'm stoked being a witch hunter ganking people is my bread and butter, and the mail box afker's will be delicious in rvr zones! Also anything this game can do to add fluff is welcome in my opinion RvR is what I love and why I stay, but that doesn't mean I don't love Roleplaying and looking fancy. The taking away of the super awesome auto assist stuff is welcome since that totally ruins my milkshake. Also I'm glad that they're trying to get the lower tiers more active seeing has T3 was my favorite Highpass/talabecland FTW and the more people who experience that in all of it's robust murdering glory will be glad they did. I have complete faith in Mythic especially since a game that started off as bad as it did (I had fun from day one) and has continued to grow and improve despite nay sayers every step of the way, I'm thinking 3 to 4 patches down the road will show us a new vibrant game! Oh you better look for this witch hunter in his new costume it will be excellent!

All good stuff. I'm especially excited about item #3 with the mobs being added to the RvR areas. I remember in my DAoC days how hard it was to cross a frontier zone without the mobs tearing you up (badger badger badger... heh heh...) But why just in two zones though? I think they should add mobs everywhere (just not as thickly as they are in the PvE areas). Mobs make great speedbumps :)

I really like the mob additions to tier 2 and 3 ORVR. I prefer to play exclusively in ORVR during tier 2 and 3, but it's pretty gruesome once you max out on renown. Good stuff.

Great changes! I just can't wait to see them on. But what about that "outnumbered bonus" that would aply to RR and Exp of smaller groups fighting agains larger groups? That "up to 400%" bonus sounded so sweet! =) And someone told me about a change on items appearance, something like "you could use gear on a special slot of high level gear to change the said high level look like the gear you put on the slot". Anything like that going on?

This patch has some very welcome changes for me. I never understood bypassing T3 content to show up in T4 only to get rolled by rr70+s. And those that spend time screaming for ppl to turn in resources. But, RiP SOR :(

So looking forward to this patch, few things here and there with class changes i like and dont like but the bigest thing i'm concerned with is: [2. Sorry guys no mailbox guarding anymore.] sure its grate to stop the mail box farmers but how will it work if you take all BO's keeps and are just doing what you can to push a flip and the wb goes to hit some pq's for PvE to flip it, if it flips after you finish a stage of the PQ and not in the lake, does that mean you don't get the ren/xp/medalions ect???

PvE will no longer contribute to zone locks....it will be split between Objectives (BO's/Keeps), Scenarios and Skirmish...patch notes list the exact ratio http://herald.warhammeronline.com/patchnotes/index.php?id=2010_1-3-6

ah good to hear about the PvE, kinda sucks but at the same time i can see the bonus of it. Just a shame that the game is gunan be a RvR ONLY game in the end, for ppl that don't rvr at all now they wont be able to contribute to the hole zone lock, but then i guess the pve players are prolly playing a diff game now like Aion or WoW anyways not like it was at launch when every body played :(

Yeah. That was quite what I heard. Someone told me that high rank items would have some kind of "appearance Slot" where you could put other similar (same body part) gear, and then the first one would have the appearance of the second. I'm not sure if I like the idea, but I'll try to have fun with it.

This just in: New Patch Info: Friendly Player Collision has been removed. While this might not seem like much. This changes several tactical maneuvers. Using their own force to bottle neck them will no longer work. You'll have a stack of choppaz ripping through your tank walls and such. Time to think up some new tactics.

It May or May Not Make it into the next patch. Mythic is testing it on the Test server. This change is supposed to drastically reduce lag.

Hmmm.. Not sure how I feel about that change... Even if the lag has been unbearable lately. With no friendly collision, characters are effectively "zero size"... I'm trying to think through what that would mean to "Pandora"... We could have a tank wall (or tank door) of 50 players blocking a 10' wide doorway. We could also face 50 attackers charging through the same doorway. AOE attacks could be (potentially) a LOT more damaging with more folk stacked together.

It would also make Ninja'ing a keep (among other things) a much more viable option. Often times, the only way to detect that the Enemy is still around is due to friendly collision. We will need to be much more thourough sweeping keeps after every take to be certain no enemy are still around to take it immediately back after we leave. On the plus side, so will the enemy - with collision gone, there's all sorts of tricks we can come up with for avoiding detection if the enemy are just too numerous to prevent overwhelming a keep. No friendly collision is definately a HUGE game changer. Just a thought...

ok ive got to say for me te best parts of this patch are ,, NO MORE LOWBIES IN T 4 WHOOT and NO MORE MB CAMPERS WHOOT WHOOT ... lol god im glad i wont be on the day this goes live theres going to be so many criers out there that first week -)

I never did understand the term " Mailbox Campers" Can someone kindly explain it to me? And without friendly collision, won't the tank wall, now be rendered useless?

Mailbox campers are those that come into a zone and sit at the mailbox waiting for exp/rr/inf or whatever. The upcoming patch will change that to where a player must be flagged for RvR in order to get the exp for that. Hence, a lot of people excited about AFKers sitting outside the warcamp waiting for exp. They won't last long.

as to the friendly collision and tank walls.. friendly collision is when some one of your own realm cant walk right through you this patch will let them do so ,, tank walls are designed to block the enemy aka those on the other side so this patch wont effect tank walls

I'm not sure I like the end of friendly collisions too (even if it is the end of the 20 seconds of desperate squeezing thru the corridor when the keeps outer door falls). Friendly collision was part of what made WAR realistic. But, oh well, lag does make it less realistic too and damn less playable. So, hurray for anything that reduces lag!

I'm hoping to see a spur of more organized oRvR action and I like the game moving in the direction of making folks earn their renown ranks, but I do have some questions about how this will work... Ruthlos and I have done a lot of hail Mary suicide runs to secure zone locks, often dying in the process. Does this patch mean we will have to lay on the ground dead until the zone locks rather than respawning? I'm not a fan of the Tier exp/arpee restrictions tbh. Now my two younger kids will no longer be able to run with us in T4. :( - Plus I kinda feel bad as we had deleted my 11 year olds lvl30 main to make a destro account for Ruthlos - we pay for 5 accounts already and decided that the younger two could share an account since they do not play all that often. This also effects our younger guildmates. I suppose for larger guilds who span all tiers and do pve and what not its no big deal since they have folks down there recruiting, but for guilds who are primarily T4 RvR it's a bummer. I get a little lucky because I'm a specialty guild; I tell all potential additions to the harem that most of us are T4 and generally the ones that join up don't mind the solo leveling grind, but I can't help but wonder how this is going to effect other guilds' recruitment. I have a feeling we are going to end up with a bunch of 6-12 man guilds who form in the lower tiers while leveling up together but never really recruit anyone else... The locking of LotD to 32 and higher is also kind of a bummer for long time players like myself... I understand that the devs are trying to revitalize T2 and T3 for the low pop servers, but frankly I've already gotten numerous characters to 40 and I gotta tell ya, after the first couple times you get pretty tired of the Pave quest line. I suppose I'm a bit biased as Badlands doesn't really need this, our lower tiers are hopping regardless of all those who want to skip all the [now] boring level grind. I am a big fan of the removal of friendly collisions, I am not afraid to lead the charge and hang out in the front lines, but when I need to back up it is a matter of life and death. I can't even count the number of times I've died due to my own teammates standing right behind me and making it impossible for me to dodge LoS or get away from melee attacks. Plus any reduction in lag would be great. The appearance slot is going to be awesome; time to raid the lower tiers for non-gaudy wood bows!! Also, I am sooo looking forward to 1-shotting a pesky mdps with a point blank Fester bomb...
