Thank you stoat, In the Rift Alpha post I tried to say something along this lines. It's very important that we do not try to sway people away from Warhammer. If someone is enjoying their time in Warhammer and want to continue fighting the good fight we need to support them in their conquest. One of my biggest heartaches right now is trying to keep us all together regardless of what happiness. We as a core, the Tuatha, are truly remarkable. I have never in my life found so many wonderful people in one place. Because of this we have all been blessed with our time in Warhammer together. Regardless of where the adventure takes us in the future I pray that we all can remain in contact and find and play with each other further down the road.
Now to make this clear. Is RIFT a suitable replacement for War? I don't know, it may, but for the most part its a PvE based game and 99.9% of us are RvR based players. This being said however, is the new War a Replacement for War? That is a question we as a core need to find out. I encourage you all to give 1.4 a chance. I know theres a lot of animosity about it. God knows it's breaking my heart, but I will be giving it a chance. I hope that come launch of 1.4 I will still have a warband to field. I will stick with it as long as I have troops to lead.
Remember: We are about having fun, What you consider fun may not be what others consider fun. I want to make sure that every last Tuatha is going after their own enjoyment whatever that is. In the end thats what keeps us playing.
Thanks Stoat for the wise words.
