Ashes of Creation Referral Links - take one, leave one for the next person

I saw this idea in another online community and thought it was a good one. The idea is to use a referral link from a guild member and then leave yours in the thread for the next person. We might as well benefit from the system that Intrepid has put in place. Make sure to leave the name of the person that you used the code for so that the benefits are spread around.

We are trying to get everyone linked to my profile so I can suck us all in early for some testing assistance through our pioneer program. We have a guild wide link, any in-game funds generated from this will be pushed toward the guild upgrades. http://gsch.info/play/aoc If you don't use the link I created it will be a bit more difficult to get you in for early testing. The plan was to bring all the people linked to my account in to make it easy on Intrepid.

Is there a way to get linked if you're already registered?  I didn't know about this referral process when I first signed up.

Ill be collecting emails manually when the time comes but there may be a delay between when the bulk of us get in and the people that werent linked. Thats if they actually follow through and need us. If you got a founders pack that gives you access anyways you wont need to worry anywho.

I pledged to the kick-starter project already ("settler" package methinks), but it would be great to get linked to someone's account as a referral so they can get credit for any in-game purchases I make.

Since I hadn't done anything with my account yet, I deleted mine and redid it via Fog's URL.

Crossing fingers this becomes a promising Chapter.

 So if we use the link above in Fog's post and click to register it will automatically link our accounts that we create to Fog's profile is that correct? Just checking because when I click it there is the option to register but I don't see it say anything about Gaiscioch or Fog and I want to make sure I do it right.

That was my assumption as the page it goes to has Fog mentioned in the URL. I assume making an account via the page that comes up, marks Fog as the referrer.

Yes there are currently about 45 of you linked up. 

FYI - I exchanged a few e-mails with AoC customer support today and confirmed that your AoC accounts are not yet linked to your kick-starter pledges.  Sooo...if you didn't initially register your AoC account using the referral link, you can safely delete the AoC account and re-create it without screwing up any linkage to your kick-starter pledge.  When you re-create your account, use the referral link.  I just did this and was able to re-use my same account name and e-mail address.  Hopefully I'm linked up to Fog's referral now.

Im in, pledged pioneer.  I was not aware of the referral system so much for that. I am seeing Rift slowly die off here and with hosting more events than I am able to participate in when, I am online. Has become fustrating in trying to advance in rhe ranks. Hopefully, a new game will have greater numbers of players online when I am as well. In the mean time I look forward to staying in with Rift and hosting events that players enjoy and can attended. Lets hope this new game allows for greater participants and enthusiasm.

I have been interested in this game for quite a few months. I did join to get newsletters etc. I also just signed up with Kickstart and donated $50 to the start-up. With this, if it goes forward, I stand a good chance to get in on the beta. You might want to take a look into it for yourself, if you are really interest in getting in on the beta.

I am looking forward to playing with all of you in AoC.  I followed Fog's link to register and also donated, so as long as I didn't goof it up too bad, I hope to see you there in a year or two.

I hear ya, El... Rift was pretty active there for a nice bit but I think there has been a new expansion over in GW2 that some folks may be checking out.  Also, summer time may mean vacation time or family time.  Part of the ebb and flow.  Thank you for the great events that you host and the help that you provide - it IS much appreciated.

I did a bit of LoA when it was first available but I lost track of it. I am looking at this community server, Legends of Ultima, which is supposed to have a nice UO feel. Anyone already playing here, or interested in joining me for a first look?
