Last year I came off a Perfect World International 6 year stint. I was finally burnt out. I have searched and played many games since~ Aion, Shaiya, Tera, RoM, Neverwinter, you get the gist.
Along the way, I found a large guild that catered to many different games (like this one) and noticed something odd. They also didn't have a section dedicated to PWI..nobody played it! How could I have been playing a game for so long, one I thought EVERYONE played (like Runescape, I mean who didn't play that? LOL), but nada, zilch, zip.
I am going to ask here, as I did there but got no response, why is PWI largely ignored in the MMO world? Is there something I don't know about it, or is it not really considered a true MMO? It's kind of baffling me tbh. I still can't bring myself to delete it and check in periodically so I don't lose my characters!
BTW, I followed that guild to GW2 but had absolutely no problem dropping it when Fog invited my newb on a multi-map adventure of killing some fun bosses....oh! the fun, the adventure, the loot! And GSCH did it all for fun, no strings. Best GW2 day yet =)
