After the news about Everquest Next being canceled, I just assumed that Landmark went along with it, since it was my understanding that the two "games" were two stages of the same project. I'm not sure if I was accurate in that understanding, but Landmark appears to be quite alive and quite active, despite the demise of the EQNext project. They have Beta registrations still ongoing, active in social media (finally paying attention to my tweet feed was how I discovered this) so... yea, thought it was interesting, figured I'd share the info.
