It appears that guilds will be able to initiate events specific to their server and when completed get some type of unspecified guild rewards.

ooh, thank you for the link. I am really looking forward to this now, it will give opportunities for the community to have better events hosted by guilds and that is a great thing:) I can't wait to give these a shot, the rewards comment about turning yourself into a guild banner was quite funny as well.
Thanks for posting that link. :) Looks like a lot of fun, with opportunities to involve the community in guild missions. And you'll get bonus points for completing more than them minimum daily requirements, I like that. And looks like more opportunities to play with the community if some of the achievements are in specific locations.
Guild rush!!! Can't wait for these to roll out and us to have an event.
heh, We are going to have to be more organized though, since we have 5 guilds to do missions for.
True, but unless we're Elders, we are supposed to only have access to a single guild room. Na Anu and Na Rall do not count, because they are specialty guild rooms and are not assigned to, or accessible by, everyone. With ArenaNet deciding to not increase the size of guilds for this new feature, I think that this will be a bit problematic for the Family.
This is awesome! Such an interesting idea - I can't wait to see it happen!
We will be fine. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Can't say more but multi-guild should not be a problem.
That's good to hear, something coming sounds promising.
Dulfy posted some highlights from the MMORPG interview with Colin that's linked in the OP.
