Just want to let everyone know that I am without internet until the flood and tornado damage has been repaired in the south.  I lost all internet ten minutes before tonights Club Gaiscioch event.

Severe weather and flooding in Queensland has impacted telecommunications services north of Brisbane.

This evening, a cable washout in the Kingaroy region has impacted a significant number of landline, broadband and mobile services across Central and Northern Queensland.

We are currently investigating alternate ways to restore services, however existing cable damage may make this difficult.

While we are experiencing limited communications in these areas, Telstra encourages customers to only use their mobiles in emergency situations.

We'll be here when you get back. Hope it is fixed quickly. This is one of the few reasons why I can't live in Queensland. I love the storms but the weather can be unexpected and dangerous.

Just be safe - most important thing. I'm not sure that getting your internet back even makes the top 10 list in these situations although I know it may feel like when when everything else is back to normal. Take care of yourself and those you love. Again.... be safe and get back with us when you can. We aren't going anywhere.

So I found out that both primary and secondary fibre paths leading to far north Queensland were washed out in the floods. No ETR on when I will be back.

Fate is what the cosmos throws in our path, destiny is how we travel that path. Think positive thoughts. I'm positive that the provider doesn't want a disruption in service any longer than they have to so they will do everything in their power to get it up and running as soon as possible. I know last year when I lost cell phone service (which is all I have - no dedicated land line) for 12 hours it wasn't a pleasant situation for me or my family and friends that tried to contact me. I have no clue how I would feel to lose internet (which is actually my primary means of communication for news, weather, e-mails, and entertainment) for an extended length of time. So, keep a positive attitude - and you'll get through it. It's been rough on you folks down there this year - you are all in my thoughts and good wishes.

Mij, come do Orr Temple runs with us one day before they get nerfed again. People were complaining that Temple of Grenth was impossible :) Soooo much fun. We cleared it btw.

I am not really playing GW2 at the moment as I am not a fan of the pve, and am looking for a more challenging game. But if it is for the lols then sure :)

Orr Temples nerfed? What are they doing to them this time?

They buffed all of the temples in Orr. So much that people made threads on the forum to complain how hard it is.

They buffed them again in yesterday's patch? I thought they'd buffed them in the last patch, it was already a pain to get people to do Temples, as it was. That doesn't make a lot of sense.

Things seemed OK with last nights run. All the temples were already open when we got there for the event, so I assume its not difficult to keep them open. The couple of fights that we did have, seemed fine, maybe a little easier than ones I've done in past.
