*** PLEASE CHECK YOUR PENDING GUILD INVITES ***

Hey Everyone!

We are locked on how many invites can be sent for Gaiscioch na Morrigan until those that have invite pendings accept their invites. Guild Wars 2 only allows you to send 25% of the current limit in invites. ATM we're at 100 limit so we can only have 25 pendings at a time. Once you accept your invite it allows us to upscale the guild. I need you all to please check to make sure you do not have outstanding invites.

We will be transitioning all of our members that set their main playtime from 9PM - 9AM PST to the Gaiscíoch na Morrigan our third main room of the house. Morrigan was the goddess of battle and night symbolized by the raven. We will be moving our Oceanic & European (People who marked they play majorily between 9PM - 9AM Server Time) folk into this room so they can find groups throughout the night in our lowest population timeframe. In the comming days you might find yourself removed from Gaiscíoch and then invited to Gaiscíoch na Morrigan. We will also be adding a few of our other playtime folk to the room to help balance it our. This room will contain 200 slots for 9AM-9PM Server players and 300 slots for 9PM - 9AM players.

So New Progression is:

Main Rooms:

• Gaiscíoch na Morrigan | 45 Day AFK Policy | 9PM - 9AM PST Players
• Gaiscíoch | 45 Day AFK Policy
• Gaiscioch | 45 Day AFK Policy

Specialty Rooms

• Gaiscioch na Anu | PvE/Dungeons | Lorgair+ | 14 Day AFK Policy
• Gaiscioch na Rall | PvP/WvW | Lorgair+ | 14 Day AFK Policy

Please Note you should only be in 1 Main Room. You can be in both Specialty Rooms. The maximum number of GSCH Guilds you should be in is 3. 1 Main Room, 2 Specialty Rooms. If you are in more than one Gaiscioch please click "Leave Guild" for one of the others so that we can invite more members.  Thank You!

Holy bloomin' flowers, Batman! I wish I knew this was coming since I just used up 2 Influence rewards recently on Funny i :P I'll see if I have any spare gold when I get on later tonight and see what I can do. I'm not rich but I'm willing to spend a gold or two on the new guild.

While i don't have any influence rewards currently I will volunteer to move over and help lvl up the guild. I will contact you or the peeps you mentions in game as well :)

I just spent all my guild influence consumables on na Morrigan. Let us know if there's anything else we can do to help with the transition Fog.

Ok Fog I accidentally hit I played from 9Pm to 9Am....when it is really 9Am to 9Pm ...and can not find where to correct it. Can hardly wait for my new glasses to get here, so no more calling wrong numbers or misreading forums. Ok so it would be fewer wrong numbers, and I will always misread forums, it is a gift. :) Mule

@Jadera, when logged in, hover over your name in the upper left, go to edit profile, scroll down and reselect what time you play at.

Day 3 of new guild and its just dead, only 52 members as I write this. Either need people to wake up, pay attention and get themselves moved over and drop their old home rooms, or... reduce the amount of inactivity time and weed out those who aren't playing so we can combine our active players into guilds with each other. 6 weeks at this point seems an awful long period of inactivity for a game that has roster size limitations.

We need to have people accept thier invites. We cant invite more until those invited accept the invite.

@Sekker, I am beginning to agree. In a game without a subscription, it is a long period of time where people can go elsewhere but only time will tell. So far though Morrigan is very quiet and when there was talking, I almost fell off my chair in shock! The few times I have said some things, the conversations don't arise or last long. It was good to have some talks tonight :) EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I understand some people aren't in game every single day and hence I was hoping that this weekend we'd see a lot of turnaround with the invites. Heck, thinking on it more, we have expanded now to a third guild because 2 have hit their 500 caps. The guilds at those caps, should perhaps have a 14-30 day AFK period to allow for flushing people out. Then over time, if they come back, they request a re-invite and voila, problem solved. Honestly, even 14 days doesn't sound unfeasible since that is going into a game once a fortnight. I can understand people are allergic to forums/websites but games? :P That is like someone who is both allergic and addicted to coffee, the horror!

I probably have an invite as an elder. Though I think with everything for Gaiscioch, I have five guilds even if only four of them are active at this time.

You would not believe the flack I get for the 45 day policy. 14 would be a nightmare. I hate that I even need one but dont have the space to house afk players. There cant be 6 gaiscioch. Only allowed 5 guilds. Morrigan will get there. We just need to be patient. I can tell ya this is the last time we go into a game without alliances and a low population limit for guilds. Logist8cs nightmare anx a whole lot of unnecessary hurt feelings.

I'm shocked at the fact that people complain about a 45 day policy. Even if you aren't playing, you log into the game and swap into the necessary guilds. Voila, all done. It isn't like World of Warcraft and probably some other MMOs where you earn reputation with the guild and if you are booted, you lose it. *shrugs* Sorry, I shouldn't be judging. I have to agree it must be a big nightmare concerning the lack of support for communication across multiple guilds and no Alliances. Kudos to the Council.

Please accept those invites folks. We are capped on invites and need to invite about 160 more people.

Avengel, The way anu works is that if people have flagged PvE as something they want to do they get an invite to anu. They still MOST of the time Represent their primary room. You should be Repping Gaiscioch, Gaiscíoch, or Gaiscioch na Morrigan most of the time. What Anu provides you with is a list of members that are currently online that enjoy PvE. So if you want to do a dungeon look down the roster at their levels and class and message them to see if they want to do a dungeon. Anu is not meant to be a full time room. You should not be in it at all times. It's there for you to look for a group and when you find it we try to keep buffs up there that will compliment your dungeon running group.

Avengel: If you look at the first post, you will see an explanation of the different rooms. I know its confusing, blame ArenaNet for capping guilds at 500 maximum members. o_o @Fog and Council: That's a great example of a lot of the problem, there's just so much confusion over where a member should be, or what room they should be in. I was talking to some funny i members this morning, they were wondering where I'd been, they hadn't seen me in guild chat for a while. I asked them if they had gotten invites to Morrigan, they said yes, but had not accepted it. I asked why not, but was ignored. o.O I also know of a few members who are in both funny i and normal i, they either didn't know, or didn't bother, to leave any guilds when they were switching around. There are even some Elders, who are still on the rosters, but no longer playing. I honestly think that there is enough room between funny i and normal i **IF** there wasn't so much confusion and everyone would follow directions and cooperate. Of course, I also still foolishly believe in World Peace, unicorns and cotton candy puppies. o_o

When I have some form of communication that people actually listen to I'd love to set it all straight. I say things on the forums, people don't read it, I say it in game and people ignore it, i say it in our monthly meetings but people dont attend, I broadcast over our podcast but people don't listen, i send it via email but people spamlist me, I send in site messages but nobody reads that. When and If I can finally find some form of communication method that people actually care to read / listen / watch all will be right with the world. But thats simply not how it is.

That is the main catch though, Avengel. Not everyone checks the forum regularly. The original thread I saw it in. It was when Fog was rearranging the guilds a few months into Guild Wars 2 going live. Rearranging People in the Family House in Guild Wars 2 Ultimately, the only way you can get important information out to people is via the private message portion of the website but even then it requires people to come here. As a past Guild Leader, I have pulled out my hair trying to get people to log into a site for important information to no avail. In the end, you can have it flashing infront of people's faces in large neon letters but ultimately: They only see what they want to see.

Fog brother, you're preaching to the choir. SWTOR drove me BANANAS trying to ... well, I wanted to beat people, and Bioware, I got so frustrated. (I'm still bitter about it.) Their guild system was all broken, our guild chat was not working, I couldn't get people to use Mumble, forums, Twitter, Facebook... I swear they purposely ignored the MOTD box that popped right in their face every time they logged in. I think they finally had a Guild Leader summit so they could improve their guild support, but by then it was too late for Waelwulfas, 60+ members were just not logging in any more. I swear that the kids these days just think of a guild as an LFG tool. Guilds just don't seem to be what they used to when we started ours, back in the day. Anyway, I don't criticize if its something I can't actually do or fix, myself. I can fix the invite acceptance issue and the room duplication, it might make some folks temporarily unhappy, but with a few hours and some sorting skills, its definitely fixable. Once done, it shouldn't be a problem until another room shuffle occurs. The inactivity disparity between website and game is something that I'm unable to fix, that's just Anet's oversight on implementing basic guild tool support features.

I refuse to listen to any complaints re which guild people should be in. We have posted it in so many different ways, the onus is on the player to get with the programme and read stuff. Ubnless you are unable to read (in which case we can have someone come talk to you in raidcall) there is absolutely no excuse. None. Let's try and be adult about it and do as we are asked!

All hail Hexx! Spoken from the heart, that one is, I approve :D There really should not be an excuse in this day and age, especially if you want to be apart of a team where you can't expect others to carry you through the finish line.

I was not being rude, simply pointing out that the process has been posted in many different ways to try and help everyone, but there is an element of helping yourself by reading up on what is going on. I prefaced my post by saying I was referring to those who complain about the information we post not being available. Rude is such a subjective term, (sir, however is pretty definitive!). Take my post at face value, I did not say you were illiterate or childish. I will leave it at that.
