Mentor System For Events and Looking for More Morning During Week Leaders.

If your Lorgair ( Rank ) and up and your looking to lead event in a PvE Open World zone and you like help, in the manner of saying not knowing a zone completely and like some help I'm willing to help you do this. ( From posting a event to the website as well as giving information about zones if your don't know about it. )

As this would work, you would post the event as a leader to earn valor for all of this for Leadership credit.

As well looking to help people start more PvE Open World events so the family has more options to choose from during the week if other PvE Leaders are not around and unable to host events do to amount of time they have free to play the game.

There's quite a few people in the guild that can actually help with this, including me. Of course, it is always the choice of the player if they want to lead. As an elder, I'll gladly explain things and help those wanting to learn. Though I think a lot of you know this already since I usually try to drop something I'm doing solo to go with a group if I have the time. So don't be shy about whether you should try leading or not. If you want to try, there are plenty of people around to help you out.

I am not at Lorgair rank, but I would like to learn in advance for when I reach that rank.

The best way to learn Tathlyn is to attend events regularly and get a feel for things that other leaders do that you both like and dislike, so that you will know when its your time to lead how you want to lead and what details to put into your explanations.

Tathlyn, your leadership style seems similar to Shmi's where you're just a pleasure to deal with. Hope to see you leading more events :)

Was a open ordeal why I posted this since I don't see many Calendar events posted for PvE that often why I brought the topic up. ^_^

Hm, thanks for the offer, I might take you up on it sometime in the future! I have ~800 hours played, but 500+ are in WvW. The highest zone I've actually quested in (for leveling), is a portion of Dredgehaunt Cliffs, I don't think I have 50% map complete yet on my level 80, barely 20% on my 40 and 50's and I've been taking them out on the zone roam events. o.O It'd be fun to take a group out, roam the zone, do hearts, events, vistas, PoIs, etc, but yea, with me it would be the blind leading the blind. Well, maybe more the blind leading the nearsighted, because I'm sure most folks have seen more of those zones than I have. lol Once I get settled back into RIFT and can better guesstimate my time split between the two games, I'll definitely look into this more, it sounds very interesting!

Like to bump this topic up please let me know if you like to lead ( dont mind helping out those take leadership ) please speak up. Reason I say this is I hope I never become sick but if I do I wont be leading events and will need more leaders to PvE stuff in the AM as well as WvW AM if people want to leader please contact me I dont mind people taking leadership slots of my time to earn valor I like to be able to claim other peoples leadership events instead of me always leading events. Kind of reviving a mature thread here, but when I reach that rank (if ever, mind you. School kills me!) I will definitely help out. I have 60% map completion on my level 80, and I find that I'm not only systematic in my approach to map clearing, but I also have figured out the overall patterns to the discovering of vistas and points of interest. When I get a character to 80 (yeah, I know, I know) I'd like to help out any way I can, but it may be a while. Definitely interested for future reference.

I may take some leadership role in the future. Currently enjoying your PvE and WvW events as my schedule mixes well with that early morning stuff. Glad you have so many events for the morning so I can get a chance to claim participation as well as see how it works. See you in Raidcall. P.S. If you haven't tried some of the morning events give it a whirl. We are an easy group to get along with and we enjoy making new friends.

I can help mentor, but I have to admit after watching Balor do it the other day with someone, he is better at it. I just am way too casual of a gamer that I just go with the flow and I think last thing I led was actually one of Balor's events when he was there but not up to leading that day for one reason or another. I rather someone wanting to gain leadership points do the leading and I'll gladly help out with what I do know of the place we are playing and the posting of the event.
