Due to community concerns about the effect of free transfers on world versus world, starting on November 1 we are going to change how often players are allowed to transfer worlds. After the update, players will be able to transfer worlds once every 7 days instead of once every 24 hours. We are also actively working on getting the guesting functionality in place. Thank you for your understanding.

Yes, hopefully it does.
I wish they would take it to once every 2 weeks or even once a month. I have doubts about stability until then. Once a week means peeps will transfer to the "best" server every week to get its perks. Yes, I know that everyone - even most people, just won't do this. But all it takes is for a few large guilds to hop around to make thinks wonky for everyone. But... it's a start.
I would prefer it if it was paid transfers only....I cannot wait for that day!

I'd say let them change as much as they want, but no WvW or PVP until 7 days have passed after they transferred.
I would go even further and say paid transfer and a 7 day lockout timer on WvW.
1 free transfer per month, paid any other time (7 day cd). I dont like the idea of locking someone out of part of the game.
