UGH. I forgot to patch last night. I want to see if I can actually use my computer in WvWvW or if I will be PvE only until I get a new machine. I have a feeling by the time i patch up test will be over. Must get home as fast as can to start patch..

Nice. I think I'll be hanging out in the Mists giving all the professions a final 'going over' before making ultimate character decisions. I don't want to spoil anymore PvE for myself before launch.

Meh...I'll be at work. Played for about 5 minutes yesterday because of the glitches I uncovered. Had too much to do anyway. :)

You can tell the optimization is improving exponentially. Max settings and no lag is all right with me. Today will be a better test with higher populations then yesterday's buggy stress test. It's good to see Anet is serious about making the needed improvements before launch.

ooh, maybe I'll get a chance to do this today.

I had just a slight patch today after testing yesterday for a little bit. I hve a couple of hours left before it starts - so need to cook up some vittles and coffee. Thanks so much for posting these test times :)

wow tragically bad... each beta event seems to get worse and worse :( How I hope they can pull this out!

Please remember it wasn't a Beta event - it was a Stress Test. They do things on purpose to put stress on the servers so lag (often severe lag) and disconnects are quite common - and they are done on purpose by the devs for specific reasons. Again, - this isn't a beta event and the game is not suppose to run smoothly. Many people forget this - but it is never a reflection of how the game will perform when launched. If it was a BWE you might need to be worried - but as a Stress Test - not an issue for launch.

I've done stress tests for other games. Some were as bad as this, some were great. You usually hope to pass your tests, doncha think?

Depends on the data they are attempting to collect. It may have been a great success. I was in a beta a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..... and for one complete 8 hour session of testing all we did was log in and out of the game - really - that was it. the game world was actually closed down and only the login in servers were up. We logged in - hit "connect to server" and after several minutes were disconnected.... we were asked to do that for the 8 hours testing was up. Stress testing provides valuable data so they can make adjustments for the launch - it is like a psycological test more than a history test - there is no passing or failing.... only the collection of data.

I guess I look at it this way... we broke the Internet. I still had a slide show of having fun with everyone for a bit WvW, until my computer locked up. Oh well, I still can't wait. But I think I see another stress test coming.
