Hey Everyone!

I wanted to get everyone on the same page for when and where we plan to unlock Guild Halls. Please note that you will need to be able to travel to us to be able to participate. Once the EXP Pack goes live I will try to locate the waypoints nearest so that you know where you need to work Towards. Realize that this is not a simple click "Unlock Guild Hall" then "Travel to Mission". You must first meet the requirements then work your way to the start point which is several zones over from where HOT begins. You will need to unlock the ability to travel to those destinations. So here's our schedule:

Gaiscioch na Rall (Active)

• Guild Hall: Lost Precipice 
• Status: Open
• Guild Mission Focus: WvW
• Upgrade focus: WvW

Do Not Upgrade

Gaiscioch na Morrigan (Core) & Gaiscioch na Anu (Core)

• Guild Hall: Gilded Hollow
• Status: Open
• Guild Mission Focus: WvW
• Upgrade Focus: On Hold Until Rall is Upgraded

Gaiscioch (PvP)

• Guild Hall: Lost Precipice
• Status: Open
• Guild Mission Focus: PvP
• Upgrade Focus: On Hold - will be last to be upgraded (Do Not Upgrade)

Lost me.  "Work toward"... ???  What do we need to do as individual players, a series of quests requiringa lot of travel?

Lots of donations. A lot of the things required to upgrade are not tradeable and have to be donated directly through the interface at the NPC's in Lions Arch or our guild hall.

Question - is HoT needed for the players to help out and get to the right points?

ust curious.  I'm not playing much and am not getting the expansion right now, so was wondering if people that don't get the expansion can help towards guild hall stuff.

From my understanding Bri, any guild member can donate mats to the guild from the Guild initiative in LA. To join in the expedition to claim the hall you must have HoT. Guild members that don't have the expac can still visit the guild hall once it's claimed but they will not be able to use anything the hall offers aside from the bank and.... I can't remember the other thing ><  Non expac players mainly have what is offered in the guild initiative hq.

Thanks for clarifying how players without HoT are impacted, but can still help.  I'm still hooked on ESO and have a lot of other irons in the fire that GW2 wound up on the back burner, but I probably could hop on and dig out what mats I do have to help.  I know I did clear out some stuff when I slowed down on playing the game, so not sure what all is still clogging my bank, but I know it IS NOT EMPTY!

Going to run Gaiscioch (PvP) This weekend. Going to also try to speed up the pace on unlocking these so we can get claims on the battlefield. Stay tuned for updates.

I'll be moving for the rest of this week thru the weekend yet do manage to get on some at night if I'm not too tired but I still have my usual grandkid taxi/watching activities going on. 

I checked through the list of Donations needed, but I thought you mentioned something about Luck and Knowledge Books during an event - or I was so tired I was hallucinating.  I'll check out the trade guy in LA.

Are we going to use TeamSpeak or GameVox for these events??

We will use Teamspeak for these as i plan to bring outsiders with us.

I asked because the one for Nov 2 says "Please show up early in GameVox." So we will use Teamspeak as is usual in our Guild Missions and WvW Streamings, yes?

Very nice, because teamspeak icon is light blue and gamevox is orange :3 I love it.

Ran into a few glitches in the system last night but we got them figured out. Unlocked Gaiscioch Guild Hall with 20 of us. Be early for Monday Night's stream. We will be going in at 6PM PT Sharp with or without you. If you need to get to Lost Precipace you need to coordinate with us before we go live. 

As a side note: You can port into Lost Precipace as a member of Gaiscioch then walk out the door to get to the right place. Be sure to do this BEFORE 6PM. We WILL NOT be waiting for people to try to run over.

All guild halls open. Feel free to use them for quick ports to various areas of hot.
