I am pleased to announce the addition of the Gaiscioch Arena for Structured PvP Practice. Find it in the Custom PvP area. Currently the following Guilds have access:
I can change the configuration as requested. If someone wants to organize this I would be happy to change settings. Just need to know what you all want.
A ready button would be lovely since then we could learn the maps and have a chance to duel before starting a game~

Ooooo this is exciting! Hopefully this will draw out more family that have had an interest in giving PvP a go. NOthing like going head to head with your fellow family members :)
I just started doing some PVP on my thief. I'm only rank 7 now, but would love to find some regulars to play around with!
Waba, I run a pvp event Sunday nights at 8pm server time. We usually get anywhere from 5-9 players out. Feel ree to come hang out with us. I know last Sunday turned out to be a blast when we moved to the spvp 8 man matches in order to fit everyone in. Most of us ended up on the same team but there was a few good matches where we ended up fighting each other XD
Sounds fun Soren, I might check it out! Of course that's 10pm central time, so I tend to not have too much time that late, considering I'm usually on a 8:00 to 5:00ish work schedule during the week :-/
Hey Fog, whenever you have some spare time it would be lovely if you could please add "Spirit Watch", "Temple of the Silent Storm", and "Skyhammer" maps to the list of claimable events~
Hey Fog is there anyway we can get a password put on this room please? Several times I have gone in there to duel with GSCH/Tuatha members and have gotten rudely interrupted by random people/pugs that were just out to ruin our fun and not respect what we were doing. This made the arena no different then the public server rooms! If something could be done about this even if its a password handed out to everyone like raid call that would be fantastic! Thanks :)
I believe the intention is to limit access to approved Tuatha guilds only (GSCH and HoL for now), but I am not sure if that's quite working yet. When I played earlier this week and again last night for a few minutes prior to WvW there were non-tuatha players on the map.
Is skyhammer part of the list of maps yet? Since it just came out, I don't know if it's automatically added or not.
How does one find this room? I tried searching for Gaiscioch and a whole bunch of variations and nothing came up in the list of servers.
If I lock it to Tuatha only it disables progression so you'll be doing practice matches and not advance.
Elth if you click on the menu to view by alphabetical order and scroll down its under Gaiscioch Arena.. and no it is definitely not pw protected so not much sense in using it as of yet.
I tried searching for all empty all full the whole lot and it wasn't there. I was representing GscH Rall guild as well.. I can't think of any other reason It's not showing up.
If you search by Fogs name it will show up right away.
Personally I think locking out progression isn't the best way to go. If you're going to spend the time learning pvp you may as well gain the experience and levels. That will be a big help if people want to venture into other pvp arenas or branch into tpvp. Just my 2 cents....
