Friday Night Ques

Is there a tip or secret in getting into the ques quickly on Friday nights at the reset.  The past two Fridays my group and I have tried to que with in seconds of the new match up reset and still we waited in que for 2-3 hours last friday and an hour and a half last night.  I know lots of people are trying to que up at the same time but how can you hit the button the second the new servers pop up and still not get in.  My thoughts are:

Either people are queing up the second they get kicked from WvW.  For example when you first get kicked and then hit the "B" button the 3 servers are the servers that just fought but scores are reset to 0.  It then takes about 5 minutes for the screen to change and show the new match up.  Can you que up then?

Or it is quicker to que solo and then group up when you get in.

I posted the same question on Guru but only had a few not very helpful response, which I was expecting. If there is a trick I didn't expect many people to share it.

Sadly there really isn't any tricks to get into Friday que. It seems very much so you gotta be one of the first 150 on the server to que for the borderland. and after that, you can only get in if someone dc'd or left the borderland. The sad thing with the que right now is that it's lottery style picks instead of time que'd picked. So its completely random if you'll get in after a borderland fills up :)

It does not let you queue before the reset. It gives a message that says you need to wait for it to reset. I do not know if grouping makes a difference. Essentially, you have to queue us soon as the scores go back to 0 and hope you get in.

This is not based on any factual evidence, but I would think queueing as solo players would be the way to go as one spot becoming free is more likely than two, and three is more unlikely. So on the balance of probabilities, would it not be more likely that you would get in quicker solo?

I do notice in a group the quo pops for everyone in the group at the same time, so it must be waiting for 5 spots to open up. Now the scores reset to zero about 5 minutes before the screen refreshes to the new match up and it look like you could select a borderland you want to go to then. I have never tried that though, I always wait until it shows the new servers. According to another guy that was on a TS channel he was saying they ques up before the new server names where shown and there was actually already a que. think I will try that next time.
