all I need to say
Wow! Now THAT is a world of blue :)
So, this go-round we've gone from fighting Darkhaven for 2nd place, to complete and total domination. This kind of begs the question - what happened?
At least one factor was increased organization and an effort to cover times where we our server was less active before. Other factors may have also contributed. There does tend to be a bit of a snowball effect when a server takes a commanding lead. Everyone wants to join the successful campaign, but people play less when their server is further behind.
I believe with Darkhaven it is exactly as Wonderloss says; once we started to do well they seemed to give up more and more. My question is, what the heck was up with Sorrow's Furnace the second time? I am figuring a large WvW guild moved on from the server but this is purely speculation. Anyone know any juicy secrets?
