Has anyone seen the new overlay for the timers on gw2stuff.com? Has anyone used it yet? I figured I would ask around and see about it. I don't have virus protection on my cp and I'm kinda iffy about downloading add ons.

Be careful. On official forum one such app has been found to be malware and hijacks your account. Read the api section of the forums. Disguises as dragon timer overlay.
Yeah that's what I was being cautious about. It would be nice if Anet would make a site themselves for it and implement an overlay. I think for now I'll stick with alt-tabing lol
I've scanned the crap out of the GW2stuff.com overlay, but yea, be careful of from where you download anything. Just like the WoW UI executables, question the download first and scan it. If you still don't feel comfortable, then just don't use it.
Regarding the one official forum post that I see, the author of the overlay even says that it may be detected as a virus since he wrote it with AutoIt. The author of that GW2 Boss Overlay also provides the source code, as does GW2Stuff.com.
So the lesson here is to always carefully read, examine and research what you are downloading, when it comes to any type of UI enhancement for these games, whether it be GW2, RIFT or World of Warcraft.
