Hello again, this time it's a bit of a public notice about the dye pack that EACH toon receives as part of it's birthday bundle.  Like birthday dye packs in the past, opening the Jubilant pack gives you a choice of dye packs to pick from.  After making that choice, you can then pick from any dye included in that pack, allowing us to choose from some very expensive dyes that might otherwise be out of reach for the frugal or poor.  Using Wiki  to see which colors are included in the packs, and using either the Hero menu's Dye tab or the BLTC's dye listings to preview the choices and whether you have them unlocked already is adviseable.  Finally, there are 2 things to keep in mind.  First, the dyes will be account bound and cannot be sold for profit. Second, these packs allow us to choose from all the colors, whereas buying entails either spending gold on the trading post for a specific color, or a pack from the gem store, spending gems (converting gold or using RL money) for an RNG chance at getting the exact dye wanted.

Yeap, anniversaries and birthday gifts are character bound, not accountbound.

Honestly, this is the best thing about having 18 alts. Lots of rare dyes...

Oh I wasted a Jubilant Dye Pack!

Rather than buying the last purple dye (Bloodstone Dark Indigo) I needed to have all 74 in the purple hue, I waited for it so I could get it with the Bloodstone Dye Pack. I accidentally clicked and got the Bloodstone Indigo that I already had! Since I can't consume it, there should be a way to exchange it or prevent you from clicking dyes that you already have!!!

So upset. Luckily I had another character turning 4 so I got it but I could have gotten a different dye :(

Also side note, they have "Bloodstone Violet" classified under Red. It has the name VIOLET in it, so it should be purple!

Bloodstone Dark Indigo should be under blue. I just don't understand their reasoning at all...
