(Pro)Actively Recruiting - Read Me!

I wanted to announce formally what plenty of you may have known already...We are actively recruiting! Let me break it down a little.

1. We will not be advert spamming every /shout channel (or any for that matter) with advertisements of the guild's availability.

2. We encourage each person whom you feel may be a good fit, come in as a Recruit (hence the creation of the rank) and ensure they are a good fit and mesh well with the group.

3. I am not looking for, or hoping to hit popcap...ever..512 managed people would become more work than fun.

I am looking to make new friends, and enjoy company on the server and create new alliances between FC's. I want more exposure as a play-friendly group who enjoys Excalibur..for what it is! Our home. And I would like to see an increase in overall numbers of active players.

Logically, if we have 110 members (118 now) and of that 118, we have no more than say 30 (which over two weeks has been the norm) online, of that 30 online, we may have 15-20 AT the computer playing, of that 15-20 playing, 8-11 are actively chatting and group participating, out of that 8-11 actively participating in groups 4-8 of them are in dungeons / raids on an AVERAGE. That leaves those who don't have partner's/significant others/friends (local) that they play with at a loss / disadvantage and I want to help pad that with recruiting good quality people to up the average. And to peg another spike into the tent in solidifying us here for the long haul and making new friends. 

Only request I have is to please look at this with an open mind and a smile, I would assume this doesn't get anyone's panties in a bunch, but if it does...sorry, I'm not going to limit us and allow us to stagnate

So remember! if you find a good questing buddy in the field, happen to run a DF duty with someone on server, or just invited a new friend/family member to play, They are all welcome to join up! If they already have a FC, Friend list them and invite them into RC to chat!

Hey Conner I have some ideas to run by you, I hope to catch you in RC sometime. Its been a crazy week fr me and I haven't had a lot of peak play time. I'm on night shift until Monday so after that things will normalize. I would love to see some organized fate groups or raids as we progress. I think a lot of the event types we had in Rift could carry over to FF nicely. If we could find some knowledgeable volunteers to organize events it would be a great way to recruit! I don't think I know enough about the game tp spearhead such a task yet though, lol. If there's anything I can help with let me know!

Feel free to organise whatever you like at any time you like Volkoth.

I am glad you want to get stuff going, good luck! Let me know if you need anything. I will try and attend the odd event you run to show support, if it fits with my timezone :P

An organizational calendar would be helpful, I found a couple of EXTERNAL options (I want to stress EXTERNAL for Fog's sake) that might work.  I gave thought to just setting them up myself, but decided I'd run the idea past you Officer folks first, to give you all the chance to look it over, discuss and initiate it yourselves if you like the idea, rather than me taking liberties with stuff, as I am oft prone to do.

Now I have not signed up for either of these, so I am not sure of the actual details, but at a glance, both look to be viable options.  I like the fact that both have Mobile options.  Google Calendar has a lot of neat features, while Cozi looks to be more simple and family friendly, although it does make mention of able to import Google Calendar information, so it might have similar features.  

Personally, I rather like Cozi at a glance, I just like the fact that its designed to be family friendly.  However, I'd set up a general email on my private domain, then it has a family password that you can share (you'll see what I mean on the sign-up page).
