Cutscenes 1.0 and what the game was like before

If, like me, you are new to Final Fantasy XIV you might be curious about what 1.0 was like before it was 'Reborn'. I came across a link to the story cutscenes on the current FF forum. I found it really interesting to see Thancred as he was then and Momodi. I won't be watching all of it because it is about 5 hrs long, but I enjoyed the first few.

You should start it at 14 mins in because he spends a fair bit of time talking to his twitch tv audience before getting started.

ETA: I also came across this Youtube video made by a 1.0 player showing how the game was, the sound in the video is poor his mic is not great, but I LOVE what he said about legacy players at the end. It makes me happy to be playing on a legacy server :)

I actually pondered whether I should watch the story from 1.0 or see if Reborn will enlighten its new clientele. I think though the video Mononic posted I will check as it is a lot shorter and if it does end up being a good thing to check, I found a 2 hour video of the main scenario cutscenes to check.
